ROFR Thread January to March 2018 *PLEASE SEE FIRST POST FOR INSTRUCTIONS & FORMATTING TOOL*

For those of you who have been through ROFR before, how do you make it? LOL! I am trying so hard to be patient, but the waiting and anticipation is making me a little nutty. I also read some recent ROFR statistics which are raising my anxiety level. Hoping everyone gets good news soon!

I drank wine...lots and lots of wine to call my nerves during our two ROFR times! It is really hard not to keep checking email and hitting refresh all the time just in case the email didn’t get downloaded

We were lucky both times that our contract passed ROFR last year...and then the maintenance fee bill came this year for those contracts we bought which in our case doubled what we owed from 2016 but still totally a better deal than buying direct. Good luck and fingers crossed for good news!

I'm going to pour myself a glass right now! Ha! It doesn't help that I have multiple friends currently on vacation at DVC resorts who are sending me pictures.

That’s odd. I had two contracts taken through Fidelity and both times I received an email from Bonnie.

It sounds like Bonnie at Fidelity may be the way to go. I have not been impressed with the communication on our Fidelity contract. After 2 emails went unanswered for a week, I called and left a voicemail for anybody to call me to provide me contact info for our title company. (I needed to provide new information before the docs would be sent to the seller.) Pretty frustrating. I'm sorry that @ihearglaciers had to find out her contract was taken this way.
