Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

After much angst and deciding where to go/ what to do, headed to Poly TPV Club level for the "big" birthday next month. I am pretty giddy with excitement so I guess I chose wisely!
Most TPV rooms are floors 2 or 3. 2 is nice to walk to lounge without stairs or elevator, however 2nd floor doesn't have a balcony. So if want a balcony request 3.

I've only been on floor 1 (prior to bungalows) but the views are beautiful ! Also you can hear the Hawaii music from your room with door open.

I have not heard too much about WL CL, we are staying there in September. Are there any recent reviews?

This doesn't exactly qualify as "recent" - but in case helpful, see links below. Loved WL CL. :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9: Unfortunately given how small the CL room inventory is now, it doesn't get a ton of attention on this thread lately. But the reviews you read tend to be overwhelmingly positive. Hope you have a great trip!

I just returned from an awesome stay in AKL Club Level. This was the first time I had stayed since the renovation was completed and it was so nice. Beers, Sangria, Wine, and mimosas are now all available throughout the entire day. It was nice to stop in for a mimosa or 3 every morning. They'll even make them with Jungle Juice. Here are a few pics, including some from Jiko.

Although you booked for 1 night you can fully use the lounge for 2 days. You can check in anytime after 6am? .
I have a CL reservation for one night and the we will check in to a regular room starting the second night. Will checking in to that reservation affect my access to the lounge on the second day?

:thumbsup2
Hi there. Your trip sounds exciting!

These are about a year old and things change with CL all the time - but with that caveat, these links may be helpful:

GF SL April 2017 - Room

GF SL April 2017 - Food

NOTE - if I said anything too negative about SL, don’t read too much into it. In fact, ignore it, just look at the pics. I don’t make it a secret that SL wasn’t my favorite CL, but it has a ton of good things going for it, including location (uber important from my perspective) and usually far more attractive rates than other CL options. Plus GF CL food quality is among the best of the CLs, generally speaking (subjective of course).

Anyway - May is a great time visit WDW and the GF. I hope you have a great trip!

@GADisneyDad14, thank you so much! The pictures are great and very helpful.

I ignored all negative vibes from you post, lol. But I understand everyone has their favorites and not so favorites for good reasons. It's just my DH and I this time and I'm sure we will be fine. Thanks for the good wishes!!

@GADisneyDad14 has lots of pix. We both have been there a few times. I was there last March and again in January.

Building location is great!

Food same as RPC just crammed in a bit .

I posted a building room # map on gf yesterday if needed.

Tea time is the best and alcohol all day upon request. I just ask anybody I see and they will go get it. I have asked the cm at the desks who do we ask and if no one around they will also fetch for you.

The alcohol cart is not at all a bad thing. They will give in glass or to go plastic and are generous with the to go ones! It is like having your own private bartender.

The rolling cart under the desk is great if you want to take items back to your room.

@trishadono thank you for the info! I found your map and it's always good to know rooms where you're staying. I requested a tower room? Turret room? Hoping to get one.

One of my favorite memories from RPC was teatime! Those scones.....:thumbsup2
Will they get you a sparkling wine for a morning mimosa?

I can't help with a recent SL stay, but wanted to say I hope you have another great GF stay and enjoy SL :).

Thank you @mickeynut1! I see you have a ticker too! Are you also staying at the GF?

Hi CL friends! I've been very MIA! BUT I am Disney Dreaming for summer. I have been to DL twice since my last WDW trip, and honestly if I had to pick...I would do DL again over WDW. That said, we have a trip to the Florida Gulf in July soooooooo fingers crossed that some decent summer discounts come out and I can get the family back to WDW!

I requested the tower room twice. We got it the first time but last January they were all occupied upon our arrival. There is only 3 so its tricky.

However if you don't ask you probably wouldn't have any chance. GOOD LUCK!:daisy:

This was prior to breakfast ending around 10:15 am and that is a mimosa!

Beautiful pictures, thank you so much! I’m getting excited for our stay there. Hurry up September!

A friend and I just got back from DL and a stay at paradise pier hotel CL. CM’s at the hotel were fabulous but didn’t think the food selection or atmosphere measured up to any CL ar WDW. I do like the proximity of the parks at DL...so nice not to have to take transportation and time away from enjoying the attractions!

We stayed at Grand Californian Cl in November and Disneyland Hotel CL over the weekend, and can I say that the service and offerings were on point. Like BWL CL or RPC on point. Mickey waffles every morning and Mickey shaped macaroons YESSSS! The MaxPass really helped make it better too honestly.

Hi! Thanks! Sorry I somehow missed your post first time through. Oops.

I think staying at AKL for just the Animal Kingdom portion of the a trip is a great idea. I hope you get to stay there. It’s really a unique experience.

Btw, I’m also a fan of the restaurants, we dined at all of them while we were there and my best entree was by far Mishkaki at Sanaa for lunch. If you’re into meat and potato dishes, then you’ll like this. DFB recently wrote a review of Sanaa and they agreed that it was great. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a pic of it. Here’s their photo:

Sanaa is one of our favorite restaurants but I have never tried that dish. I usually go for fish but my family is big meat eaters. I will make sure we try it next time we go.

Thanks for the picture.

My family of 6 (4 kids, similar to yours!), had a wonderful CL stay at WL Deluxe back in early February. The CM were all very friendly. The food at the lounge was fantastic and saved us a lot of money- We had breakfast every morning, kids got their milk, and we packed fruit and breads from the lounge for snacks to the park. If you plan to take a break from the parks, the 5-7pm, offerings are savoury and filling enough to be dinner. The later desert hour is a great way to end the day....there is a different cobbler, cupcake and cookie selection each night. There is also a nice selection of wine, beer and spirits for the adults. Food and drink can be taken back to the room. Just a heads up that the deluxe CL rooms are at the opposite end of the lounge. I would allot 5 min there from your room. We also found the texting service available to CL guests very handy. On more than one occasion, they took a pic of the day’s menu for us! Let me know if you need more info. I would definately recommend the WL CL!

Thanks for the review. We loved the WL before the renovations. When we stayed in the Deluxe rooms - they were on a different floor. I lost track of the renovations and didn't realize that now the deluxe rooms are on the same floor of the lounge. That is great.

Awesome!! I’m sure my family will love it. Thanks for the information. Did you guys feel like you had plenty of room with the 6 of you?

Might have to try DL hotel or go back to Grand Cali in the future! We truly liked the max pass too as it seemed to make it much easier than the wdw system!

That is gorgeous. Now I'm re-considering the ground floor request. No balconies on the upper floors, right?

Third floor has balconies, second doesn’t. You have a TPV room, right? Most, if not all, of the the first floor rooms are LV, not TPV - just FYI.

FWIW - when we have a TPV reservation, I make my only request “third floor room.”
