2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 30 to November 12, 2018

Part of the excitement is planning what I’m going to eat (actually ALL of the excitement)! I make my wishlist on the F&W app and I have a plan!

I have the app, but haven't really used it yet so I don't know if it works like this or not, but I like to build myself an Excel spreadsheet each year which includes all the menus and prices and I check a box that adds up the cost of everything I want to try. And if it doesn't really fit into my budget I get to play the game of "What do I REALLY want". lol

I'm excited that I'll be there twice this year! We're going down on Sept. 2nd just for F&W, and then we'll be down again Sept. 13th -16th for a trip with some friends!

Silly question; during the week, how busy are the booths? With popular ones is the wait for food 5-10 minutes or are we talking 15+ minutes each booth? Did I mention how excited I am, lol

I haven't been in a few years - but going this year so starting to do some research which led me to this lovely place ...

... but in the past I found during the week most booths were practically walk-ups but then on the weekends (Friday evenings all day Saturday) lines could be 30+ mins ... really made a big difference going mid-week vs the weekends

No! They got rid of the smoked brisket at Hops and Barley! Hopefully the new brisket slider is a good substitute.

We are going to food and Wine on August 30th and the 31st. I really want those menus!

We will be there on the 30th as well ... used to go every year but haven't the past few years but are back again this year! Lots of new stuff for us to try with not having gone recently - excited to have the menus!

Yes, the menus!!! Now the obsessive planning and guesswork begins. At least until reviews begin.

My bf doesn't understand how/why I make lists of dishes I want to sample. But he appreciated that dedication at Flower and Garden.

We went once five years ago on the Saturday and Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. The lines were so long we actually didn’t buy anything from the F&W booths. Blasphemy right? This year, I will be prepared!
