No I meant Stitch not Buzz. Again, just to make sure there is no confusion, there are no plans to date for Buzz or Laugh Floor
edit to add, did I miss read your first post? I thought you were talking Stitch not Buzz, that was my miss.

I was largely talking abut Buzz and how I thought it was a good ride but could use a redo - but that other rides in Tomorrowland could use to be replaced more than Buzz, and mentioned Laugh Floor there ... never actually mentioned Stitch at all :confused3

But, yeah, figured Stitch was a goner

While the Sea was exciting to my son and Turtle Talk is pretty fun for the kids, I feel they "aquarium" aspect of the pavilion feels like an afterthought and needs a refresh. Frankly, it is not that big or educational compared to even small, local aquariums scattered around the country.

The problem is it'd be a beast to remove. Besides relocating the animals, that aquarium is as big as Spaceship Earth. It doesn't necessarily feel like it, but it is pretty large. I don't see them fully removing it. Completely overhauling the building to make it a better aquarium, probably. But completely getting rid of it, not so sure.

And they better not touch the land. It is like one of my current favorite areas of Epcot.

I understand the reason for it crawling along (considering all the other construction happening all over the park (including in Epcot itself), but I think that pretty much means the "edutainment" concept could be finally seeing its final days in the next few years

My guess is they will go the same route the east side of the park --- and just ditch the educational aspects of the Land and the Sea. My guess is they would ditch Living with the Land and Nemo and put in more "exciting" attractions . and based on all the recent additions to Epcot -- my guess is they would be IP based.

Probably focus on the Sea first, my guess is that the LAND pavilion gets a lot of traffic with Soaring, the food court and the restaurant (with the boat ride an afterthought).

Can’t see LWTL disappearing. It still draws quite a bit of traffic (more so with FP+). It also is a “working area” producing food and research.

The amount of food it produces is probably enough to keep it safe for some time. I really wish they'd drop the automation of it though. It used to be way better. Same thing they did to ruin Backlot and Great Movie Ride.

I really wish the WiR had gone through, as that could have been alot of fun, but alas no.

So much could be done with that IP! Maybe one day...

Re: LwtL and Seas, I would hate to see anything more than updates...or maybe retro updates! Kitchen Cabaret? Sea Base Alpha? As a kid, that was one of the most memorable things at Epcot! And while they’re at it, Imagination could use some more Figment and Dreamfinder...sigh...a girl can dream, right?

Hollywood studios certainly won't be perfect or complete after Galaxy's Edge is open - but that is a lot of work that has now been done to that park, you will have 3 new true E-ticket level attractions (the two Star Wars ones and Mickey/Minnies Runaway train) and a new mini-land in Toy Storyland. Plus, I assume at least some tweaking to where Launch Bay is now

So can understand wanting to "plus" the other parks as plenty of new stuff to draw crowds to DHS for a number of years

Am I missing hearing something else about HS? Yesterday on the way there our bus was re-routed to the new stops and it was Quite the walk to the entrance. It looks like the gondola being built in front of the buses but our driver (I know, take with a grain of salt from the bus drivers) said the area between there and the entrance was being used for future expansion. Are they maybe moving the entrance forward or is it just the gondola area and the bus stops will just be further back (or maybe seemed farther with all of the construction walls?)

They definitely could do something to "Disney-fy" the aquarium to more Finding Nemo and keep it. Really, all that pavilion needs is a WAY better Finding Nemo ride.
The aquarium just needs something else. Dive shows, demos (that my memory recalls from when I went there as a youth). When I went in there last year, it was just a big relatively empty aquarium with no sign of cast members to educate or entertain guests. It just felt like a big pre-show while waiting for the next Turtle Talk show to start.

Living with the Land? It's an interesting ride (I've always enjoyed it and Disney needs a good balance between relaxing and exciting rides) -- but beside spaceship earth, it's really the only remaining old "educational" style ride. It just may be time for it to change if all of Future World is changing around it. I'm not saying strip it and put in a Moana ride, but they could probably Disney-fy the "Land" theme with a much better dark boat ride.

From what I understand there are the new bus loops with one area for resort buses and one for coach buses and then the gondola station that is closer to the entrance (and perhaps will be inside the security checkpoint) - so not aware of any other construction to DHS at this time ..... there are the rumors about something eventually being done to the Echo lake area, but those are basically blue sky at this point

Living with the Land is one of our favorites, we ride it multiple times every trip. I love how it goes through the working greenhouse and there are all the hidden Mickeys in it, etc.

I'd be ok if they upgraded the first part and maybe even added (and appropriate) IP to that part, but would hate if they drastically changed it

Do not touch Living With the Land. Don't do it.

The streaming service will be huge for them, especially with Fox content now. But it's not like the parks aren't huge. I think the issue is they view the parks more as a marketing tool now than a separate product.

Streaming will be huge for Disney. I suspect they will pour lots of money into it. In fact, I read where Netflix has almost surpassed Disney in net worth.

My suspicions of the bus loop at this park being a thousand miles away from the entrance gate just keep getting more and more solid.

There are also some blank spaces you travel through that could have something added. But I agree, don't change it completely.

Heh .. I'm not really stating what I want it to be touched .. just stating what I think will happen based on what they've done thus far to Future World.

Horizons, World of Motion and Energy Adventure were 100% replaced from the ground up. I am just saying, it wouldn't be a shock if they did that to the West Side of Future World as well.

In 4-5 years Future World may be hard to recognize from the Future World most of us remember from the 80s and 90s (I mean, it already isn't -- one of the main reasons that Epcot is my least favorite park - not a bad park - just my least favorite). It's sad to me I can't entertain and educate my son like I was back in the day. He (not surprisingly, being of my genes) is the type that finds things like Carousel of Progress and Spaceship Earth interesting.

Pandora expansion still a possibility per Martin.
Should've done it right the first time. That's what bugs me so much about the last few expansions. None were done right, it's like they didn't learn from DL back in the 1950s. So frustrating.
