Could it make any sense DVC might announce any other special DVC exclusive Halloween happenings that could take place between 2 to 4 (when other MNSSHP ticket holders can enter)?

In reading other threads on the subject of early entry, it appears the conscience is that most DVCers would either have a ticket for the day anyway or an AP and the 2 PM entry even though is a nice jester, does not benefit many.

I think my brother brought his tickets w/DVC discount and was told it was 2pm not the 4:00pm it was before. they don't even need to see your DVC card - just the MNSSHP ticket. So go try it at 2pm.

I think it is an especially kind gesture! We do not have APs or regular tickets and are thrilled to enter early ... even if it is our least favorite WDW park. Looking forward to MNSSHP this fall! :)

Maybe we'll even see a jester, or two, if folks dress in costume? :jester:

According to the information on the DVC website, a membership card IS required to enter at 2 pm.

In 2018, Members and their guests can enter Magic Kingdom park 2 hours earlier than ever before—as early as 2:00 PM. Simply present your valid Disney Vacation Club Membership Card and your event ticket at the main entrance touch points to take advantage of this benefit. This benefit is valid for the Member and up to 7 guests with tickets to this event—a total of 8 people.

I had thought the same as the pack.

Aside from the good-will gesture, likely being done to help disburse the crowd at the gate for those DVC’rs that won’t have day tix.

Normally, we hang out at resort that day, thenmake sure to enter thru regular line ahead of 4 pm infux of party guests. Will be interesting to see if lines form @ 2 pm at the designated party entrance.
