Do not use WeGoShop

Sadly add me to the list of getting multiple charges. This is the second time now....and obviously isn't a coincidence. I've always had a great experience working with them. Not sure what happened to cause this.
 
We use instacart now. Last order with Wego Amy was difficult to deal with and double billed cc.
 


I may have mentioned this earlier, but I think this actually criminal-there’s no way this is a repeated accident. I think it would be a good idea for some of the folks directly affected to call the police.

It can also be a sign of miscommunication (2 different people running the billing) or even onset dimentia. WegoShop is a chain I believe. Best to contact the primary owner and let them figure it out.
 
We have used Amy/WeGoShop many times in the past but as I had stated earlier in this thread the last time I used her services she had an attitude and was very late in delivering our order. We are going to WDW in 3 weeks and will not be using WeGoShop this trip. We've decided to use instacart and I just want to thank the posters here on the DisBoards. Without this knowledge I'm sure many of us would feel what happened to us was just an isolated incident. Now, knowing that so many people here just on this small thread alone have had problems I'm glad to be forewarned.

I agree a miscommunication would explain once or twice-but it’s been over and over for a long time now-that ain’t miscommunication as any reputable business owner would’ve fixed their processes by now.
 
I'm sticking with Garden Grocer too! They are great
Each to their own, but I found GG to be the original rip off artists in the Grocery delivery game. So much so that when I called about items missing from my order they laughed at me, told me they wondered who those items belonged to and they thanked me for lunch. Never did get an apology, replacements, nor a refund.

Wow. You MUST be a much nicer person than me. :-) I would of called them, contested it with my CC Company, the BBB, posted it on every message board known to man, and anyone else I could think of until I received a refund. >:(

I don't think I'm nicer, just a moving on with life type person when it comes to sticking up for myself unless the issue will impact our lives substantially.
The total on the items stolen from me was about $12 or so on a $100 order. I just didn't think they were worth the effort. However, I will on occasion let folk know of my experience when they compare the delivery places. I have heard a very similar story about GG from a couple of other people on the web, so now days, knowing they made this a habit I would contest the charge with my credit card company for sure. I thought I was a one - off at the time.

Haha, I'm not saying there won't be people who had flawless transactions with Garden Grocer. In fact if even a good percentage of folk did I can guarantee they would not be in business today.
I was just passing along my experience. For me, they're not worth the trouble.

Next visit I'll be either hitting up Publix again on my own, which is my preferred way to get groceries, or will try Amazon.

That's terrible! Would have probably done what the other poster mentioned, especially with the response you received from GG. Thanks for sharing your experience. Wonder how many others were treated the same; might find out if they had a thread like this one.
 
When we used Garden Grocer many years ago, we got items we had not ordered, and we were missing items which we did order. We called, and they delivered our missing items the next day. We were not happy because the missing items were bottled water, and that meant we could not use it on our arrival day or on the next day because we left for the parks the next day before they arrived. We gave the extra items to Bell Services. But they certainly did not laugh at us or refuse to deliver what we had ordered.
 
In the past we have used WeGoShop for grocery delivery and have had great service however after today there is no way we or anyone should use their service. We had placed our order over a month ago with our arrival time of 1 pm. We got our call from Amy confirming everything. If you have used their service you know they will call you when it has been delivered, usually right around the time you arrive at the resort. Not today, so around 5 I call and leave a message asking politely for an update, never heard anything back. Around 6 I call back and talk to Amy asking for an update, she gets really defensive and says they gaurantee delivery by 7 and I should have known that, no apology, nothing. Finally 710 I get a call that it was delivered. Very infuriating.
Each "WeGoShop" is individually owned. Please return again with a different owner..I am so sorry you were treated so rudely! WeGoShop receives no compansation from shops/ deliveries..They make their money from people like me that pay to use their name and business skills, advertising..etc. Without them I and many others may have never been able to manuver around this fast paced business, to be successful! Again I am sorry you had a bad experience..I know this is an older post not hopefully you will reconsider in the future!
 
I just sent an email to the corporate office and also sent them a link to this page. We'll see if they care. I have a feeling they'll just say something like this is just a franchise so we aren't responsible for how people run their own places, but we'll see. For those who have used instacart, do you have to place your grocery order early like GG or WeGOSHop or do you just place it a couple days before and then choose a delivery time?

Do not use Amy Martin of Wegoshop.com in Florida. I was recently charged twice on top of what I really owed. That's $1800 Amy is trying to pocket. Wow she thinks she's so smart. We all need to put a stop to this. This is fraudulent and needs to be reported. I have emailed her once. I have sent a note to Corporate once and will now go to the Better Business Bureau and the authorities and my credit card company. Please spread the word on social media and get this horrible person.

It's also apparent the corporate owners of WeGoShop do not care. I've sent them a message weeks ago and have received nothing back. I was shocked to hear so many others complain after I posted, hopefully everyone else has been refunded.

Perhaps you should take it up with corporate. They don't seem to have responded to complaints.
 
This is interesting. I decided to use them year before last because I wanted to order a cake from Publix. I assumed that I would place the order and she would just pick it up. Nope... not that simple; Amy wouldn't allow that. She made me give her all of the details for my custom cake and then she could contact Publix with my information. It was really odd. I couldn't understand it but she wouldn't let me do it any other way. The cake looked terrible and apparently she couldn't find some of the items on my grocery listed so she picked up off brands of things, incorrect sizes. She was very rude and short on the phone. Dear Lord... never again. I went back to Garden Grocer, they're such nice people and always dependable.
 
We've used WeGoShop several times in the past also, but like so many others have not used them in a while due to the way we were treated by Amy. I'm just curious if she ,Amy, is still in business. After so many negative reviews I just can't help wondering what happened to her and the business.
Anyone know?
