For those with spouses immune to Theme Parks, did this event prove a good thing for them? I'm traveling with someone who is most interested in EPCOT (after Harry Potter at Universal, but that's another story).

Hope for more variety in the Broadway acts as the only difference between 2017 and 2018 was Kerry Butler being swapped out for Kara Lindsey

I've really enjoyed this festival in the past. There have been some delicious food items (mushroom risotto & sidecar cocktail stick out). In terms of a wish list, I'd love to see the inclusion of more artists (all mediums) that aren't necessarily Disney artists. I like the Disney art too... but I'm pretty close to the saturation point with overt Disney stuff in the house. I've noticed that several of the resorts are now offering paint nights where you get a glass of wine and paint a pre-determined image with instruction. I'd love to see them do one in World Showcase prior to open and you paint something from one of the pavilions. Or maybe a photography tour of World Showcase prior to open? World Showcase is my favorite, if you couldn't tell. :goodvibes

Photo tour sounds good to me. I hope they so add more musical groups from the local community there. I know Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale have sister LGBT community bands. Might be fun to have them there.
I do hope that the Disney artist exhibit is maybe one concentrating on Eyvind Earle, a wonderful talent who basically designed the look of Sleeping Beauty.

I liked the 2018 version of this a lot. The paint-the-squares murals were fun. The food was good. The exhibits were cool. I skipped the music. Would definitely go back.

It had a lot of what I like about Food and Wine, but with better weather.

My daughter and I enjoyed this Festival in January. The food was delicious, paint the squares was fun and just slowing down to watch the Artists at work was so relaxing and cool to see. We didn't take advantage of the music and tours due to time and fast passes but I definitely would on future visits.

I was/am really looking forward to seeing the Festival of the Arts for the first time this year. My mom and I had a trip on the books, but she backed out. I'm debating going solo. Although I just went in September, and I'll be going again in May. Is it worth it just to go down for a couple of days to experience Festival of the Arts? I'm a big Broadway person, and the festival just looks charming to me.

I think it's worth it. It is our favorite Epcot festival, by far.

Exactly!

I loved the paint-by-number murals, the artists, the beautiful food and, most especially, the super cool Photo Pass opportunities to fit yourself into classic works of art. I've been both years and it's my favorite festival. So glad it's coming back.

Based on last year, does anyone have any idea when the performance schedule for 2019 will be released?

Yeah, every day! I had a particularly tasty and hilarious deconstructed Reuben last year that was almost stolen by a bird while I was photographing it.

The pixel murals were quite cool.

My favorite Epcot festival!! Super bummed we are missing it by 2 weeks, We loved the food and atmosphere.

This is a great festival. So many things to do and see. I think it is better than Food and Wine and the weather is so much better. The food booths are good and the artists are very talented. I loved the interaction photo ops, the paint by number mural, living statues, and the chalk art.
