I asked over on the CC thread but has anyone tried linking the Happy to RMN?

So, your confirming that by linking the Happy GC to RMN, you were able to get the $5 credit?

It's a physical gift card.

Any idea how long it will take ship them to me? Trip is in about 3 weeks. I was sort of hoping to get a few and confirm they really are accepted at the retailers near me in exchange for GCs, and then order more.

DH and I do this every year with the Sam's Club membership/Groupon/Living Social deal. We alternate who the primary is each year and we've never had a problem.

We do the same thing at my household!

Did the Happy Guy card at Office Depot/Home Depot today. Display had a sign out saying the sale lasts until 10/13 or until supplies run out. Said buy 2 or more cards and load $50 or more and get $10 off. I just got one card after seeing DPs that works fine. It rang up at $50, but after the cashier hit totaled the order it came down to $40. She told me she had to total it to see the discount (I think she's keenly aware of this promo...). I did not put a rewards number in as I've just never signed up for one there. Went straight to Home Depot and bought Disney gift cards at the self checkout (which they must have re-done, it's just a huge screen at each station now with check out gun to scan everything. Happy it worked so I didn't have a cashier going "uh... what is this?..." Will rinse and repeat mañana!

Another nice thing was my HD still had the old school Disney gc's with the bigger numbers and peel off in one piece back. Speaking of that though- O.M.G. those open backs on those cards?! WTH Blackhawk Networks?! I sincerely advise anyone buying these happy cards to liquidate them ASAP!

Is this promo at all Office Depot stores? I just called my local store and the guy I spoke to said he hadn't seen any display for these cards. I am hesitant to run there tomorrow during work to check. If it's all stores I will definitely do a few runs or buy a few $50.00 cards and cash them in at HD for the $5.00 RMN.

How long does it take the RMN online cash back to show as pending? I think I remember reading that is may not be until the item ships. Is that right?

I did the Sam’s Club deal yesterday and no notification from RMN yet. Normal right?

I want to do more but want to make sure I get credit first.

I had posted to you earlier that I was waiting on Sam's from the same day and I just got an email from RMN that my $5 is pending.

Caught up and am going to try that Happy Card thing today if my Office Depot has them I always use my rewards number, but someone else posted they didn't give them their rewards number and it worked. The price is discounted once the cashier enters the total.

Yup ! Not that the screen shot shows much but yep,, happy card linked and went pending immediately. The only thing was that I went thru self check and it required cashier intervention, popping up on he screen she needed to check ID I dunno if it's because it was 100$ in gcs or just the happy card itself. The cashier called a manager who had no problem with it. But obviously ymmv. Sorry for typos...on my phone.

It's a better deal if you buy $50 at a time, you'll get $10 off.

So you purchased $100 worth of gc's and used two Happy GC's for payment? I think you probably need the cashier intervention because of the split payment. Good to know though.

Linking RMN to my happy isn’t showing pending. Oh well. Still got 15.4% off. Was worth a shot!

Yeah but I was experimenting with hitting the 100$ RMN threshhold.

Safeway: bought 1x 100 Happy Dad for 90$
OD: bought 2x 100 Happy Dad for 95$

HD: Bought 1x $50 Disney (all they had left of Disney cards) and 1x $50 Starbucks. RMN notified as pending within seconds. I didn't do any split payment (RMN is 5$ off $100) The manager was super nice about it all and totally 'got' what I was doing and even said "and you get the fuel points too from Safeway!"--she went and searched for more Disney's for me but they didn't have any.

Honestly I think I would rather just rinse/repeat the OD deal with 25$ GC's and forego the RMN since that 100$ in GC purchases seems to trigger a manual ID check. I am not a fan of YMMV situations and would prefer the easy route!

I too am wondering where the sale is on Happy Guy cards...just Offixe Depot or all stores that carry them? ((Like kroger)

Also...I wonder if the saMs RMN will work for club pickup? I got an email for $25 dames egift card with $50 purchase of fritos lay products using club pickup or scan and go. I thought to add another $10 to make it 60 and try for the $5 RMN. But would have to use club pickup.

Do you have a Disney Store in your area? I would assume you could put whatever you wanted on the GCs from there.

I'm probably late to the party again but just going through my AmEx offers and see one for Uber users out there:

$10 off 15+ in one or more transactions for Uber or UberEats. Exp 12/10.

For the new Platinum holders it'd be a good stack with the monthly credit. ( so you know it's probably not going to show up there )

ETA: oops, wrong thread but still useful to look for, for those that plan to Uber at Disney.

I went to OD this morning and purchased $250.00 of Happy Guy cards (in 5 transactions -- the cashier didn't mind at all). Then went to HD and they didn't have any Disney GCs . One of the staff looked in storage for me and still no cards. I ended up buying a Visa GC (for a b-day party dd has this weekend) and a Starbucks card. I'll go to another HD this weekend and try for Disney GCs. I didn't try linking the GCs to trigger the RMN $5.00. I was upset with myself as I could've got the Happy Lady cards and gone to BB&B and picked up Disney GCs (it's right across the street from HD). Grrrr.

If you use the coupons.com app, I had the "coupon" for $10 off $50 Happy Card (a coupon for each type of card - i.e. Guy, Lady, etc.) for my grocery store (Stop & Shop) and it worked great. Took $10 right off my order (per $50 card).
