I really want to try Tiffin's my family ( kids ages 13 and 10 and husband) are unsure of the menu. Right now I have a late dinner reservation ( 7:55) Is it Ok to go and just order dessert and drinks?

Sure. I will say the desserts there are pretty tiny, though. Like two melon baller scoops of sorbet small.

This is from 2016, the sorbet tasting dessert. I was so full from my meal that I didn't really care, but if I was hungry it wouldn't do much for me.

You can order anything that you want. I remember that I loved my dessert there.

This is a picture of the Chocolate Ganache that three of us split at Tiffin's... it was $12 and HILARIOUSLY small! We were joking about how we were going to divide it up... it was about the size of one Twix bar. Our server had talked it up so much, but after eating it, we all agreed that it basically tasted good, but not great, and the real value in it came in the laugh we all got when it came out! LOL

Thank you for posting pictures! We would have a quick service dinner so something small would be Ok. It might be the only way I can convince them to try it. Unless there is another menu change between now and then...

I think the menu looks "scarier" than it actually is.

I went for lunch but was sooooooooo hot I couldn't really eat a ton. So I ordered the pork belly ramen. It was quite delicious but I don't think it was anything super adventurous.

And they've already dumbed down the menu - now serving things like "fort mccoy ribeye", "shrimp and grits" and "chicken and waffles." I'm not sure if I even see what there is to be leery of on the menu anymore. It's a distant cry from what it was when the place opened.

Jeez, that really is tiny! :lmao:

Whats that hairy looking thing on top? Looks quite interesting. Like steel wool. Glad you had a good laugh out of it.

Dessert at Tiffins is good, but the apps and entrees are the star (at least they were when I last dined there, haven't been since the menu was redone). The atmosphere is lovely, but I think it is best enjoyed as a full meal.

That being said, order what you like and have a good time!! Take a few minutes to look around inside the different rooms, too. Have fun!!

The desserts at Tiffins aren't great. If you'd just like to give a few things a try, maybe consider just going to Nomad Lounge? You don't need an ADR, they have a small plates menu and you can also order off the Tiffins menu. They also have the best cocktails and mocktails on property, IMHO.

Thank you for the suggestion but one of the reasons I want to eat at Tiffin's is also to see the decor in the rooms. I really want to see the animals that are lit up and the totem polls in the one room. I think it is called the gallery...

Oh my gosh, the art throughout the restaurant was a gift. The server took us into the dining rooms that were closed and set us free. Beautiful! Have you thought about lunch? We went for lunch, although we ordered off of the dinner menu. The meal was outstanding, and while I cannot remember the name of the dessert, I was sad I had agreed to share. It was that delicious. I think a late lunch time, for coffee and dessert woudl be nice, and then the restaurnat may be empty enough to allow you to stroll though to see the artwork. And then Nomads!

Aw! You should try it then! You can order whatever you'd like!

We are trying Tiffins for the first time next week. Wow - those desserts are small. We might just not order any and have ice cream or dessert elsewhere.

And they aren't cheap, either! That sorbet is $9. We've only eaten here on the (free) DDP, so desserts were included. If paying OOP I might not bother.

That hairy-looking thing was even funnier than the size of the dessert... our server proudly informed us that it was some kind of microwaved dough- MICROWAVED! LOL

She said it was the “latest” thing...it tasted like chocolate-flavored bread. I’ve never seen a server so proud of the use of a microwave!
