Got a better picture this afternoon ; she's a smart little doggie...so far only 1 "accident" in the house. Hard to get her used to the leash; she's used to running free in a yard but DH hasn't had a chance to check the fence line yet and I'm just not comfortable letting her "run wild" and by herself. Want to give her a couple weeks to get used to the sights and sounds of the neighborhood; so far, she's NOT a fan of one of our neighbors dogs...the other one she seems to be okay with.

Sad, SAD day in our little community involving one of our most prominent family's. Their son was married last night in Uvalde, Texas...they have a large ranch in that area. Beautiful wedding...pictures were posted on Facebook last night around 11 PM of the couple leaving the reception by helicopter to fly to the ranch for their honeymoon. Around midnight the Uvalde Police Communications received a call from an aviation monitoring center of a possible downed aircraft in Northeast Uvalde County. Various agencies began a search and discovered the downed helicopter this morning a mile from the ranch's landing site; there were no survivors.

OMG that is CRAZY

They also went to an island called PIG ISLAND...where you can swim with swimming PIGS! A "destination" for many visiting the Bahamas ...! She said they were adorable but you couldn't turn your back on them...they'll "bite you in the butt"! Happened to a a lady on the tour with them!
