One last thing - the seating area for the show...they created an ECV area in the front left for the 9 ECVs that needed to park there and they also had folks from the Star Wars tour in the area. We went out at 7:45 to make sure we got a back wall seat and waited about 5-7 minutes for it to open.

Thanks for the review and update. :goodvibes

Did they give you an ornament and if so, I don’t suppose you could post a pic of it?

If anyone has a list or pics of the names of the desserts, that would be great. I am trying to not overlap the dessert party desserts with the for sale items at DHS, especially since I will be alone for my actual DHS park day. Attending the party with DH and DS though. I gotta maximize the desserts I buy, since I can't eat them all. Thanks

We went to the party last night. It all seemed to go smoothly - we picked up our credentials at 6, and were maybe the 10th family back in line at 6:40!! But when they let us in - they handed us drinks and we had no lines anywhere all night.

Our goofy photo was at 6:55, but we saw them there waiting and no line and asked if we could go early - this was a smart move as it was the ONLY line we saw all night!!

We all enjoyed the savory and sweet items. Savory: spinach dip, chips and French onion dip, cheese fondue, flatbread and pretzel bones... Sweet: the regular array of sugary treats, the chocolate fondue station - in particular the strawberries - was amazing, and of course the liquid nitrogen frozen chocolate mouse was delish!

My DH preceded the Jingle Bell holiday punch and I loved the gingerbread martini and the hot chocolate martini...it was crazy to be drinking hot chocolate but it was so good!!

All of those specialty drinks sound so good! Thanks for the pics and the report.

Oh they look delicious especially the drinks. We are there on the 27th December I can't wait, first time I will be in Disney World for the holidays. :D

Desperately trying to grab 3 party tix for Thanksgiving week. Constantly refreshing. Any tips or cancellations?

I have a picture of the ornament but can’t seem to get it to upload today...I will keep trying!
Does it look like this?

People might cancel. I just cancelled a MK dessert party for that week the other day and I do have a JBJB to cancel (booked 2 as I didn't know which day), but it is for the week after Thanksgiving.

We are not doing the dessert party, but wondering if there is anywhere to sit (not on the ground) while waiting for / watching JBJB, if you get there early enough? My mom won't be able to sit on the ground and may not feel like standing the whole time leading up to it. Thanks!
