Last minute trip

We are taking a last minute trip to Disney world this weekend. It's 3 people and we are staying off property. We have 2 day park hopping tickets. Any suggestions on which park and in what order? And how will the crowds be? Thanks

Yes but they are not very good ones. We were be going at rope drop both days but I'm trying to figure out which park to hit first

I would look at crowd calendars to see which parks to start in; the one I use suggests starting in Hollywood Studios on Saturday and either Animal Kingdom or Epcot on Sunday. I have found rope drop arrival to be most beneficial on last minute trips! Hope you have a blast!

I would start in HS on Sat and AK on Sun to avoid the EMH mornings for those since you can't use them while off site . You can then RD the new TSL (assuming you have not seen it) and either get a few FP set up there or get some at Epcot to hop later - Epcot is open till 10, and MK has EMH at nt which you cant use. Then do AK on Sun. at RD to do FoP(best ride and longest lines), and then hop to MK later to see HEA, and do same with FP. For RD for both, it is recommended to be at gate 1 hr early to be towards front of pack. Be prepared for busy crowds with Veterans Day Weekend. Refresh, refresh, refresh to try to grab FP throughout!

Thank you so much. We have been to Disney a bunch but not so much after the new fast pass system

Now THIS is a last minute trip. So often, people say last minute trip and they are going to WDW in 3 months. All perspective I guess. Have a wonderful time! Since you haven't been in a few years, so much has changed in each of the parks. I'd avoid Saturday at MK like the plague. They have EMH that night AND will have had MVMCP the previous two nights so it will be bonkers. Obviously your plan will depend on your preferences but since you asked...
My suggestion is:
Sat - Rope drop AK (Arrive at 7:45am) for FOP. Hop in the early afternoon to DHS. See Jingle Bell Jingle Bam at 8:30pm or Fantasmic at 8:00 at DHS and then walk to Epcot to see the 10:00pm IllumiNations.

Sun - Start at MK (not sure if rope drop is an option with long day on Sat). Take monorail to Epcot around noon. Leave Epcot around 6pm via monorail and finish your night (and trip) at MK. HEA is at 9pm and MK closes at 10.

I'd make my FP+ for whatever your first park of the day is and like others have said, refresh, refresh, refresh all day and despite the heavy anticipated crowds, you should be able to get many additional FP+.

Thank you so much for that detailed plan. I was thinking of magic on Saturday but you have

Since you are newer to FP system, just a reminder that as soon as you check in for your 3rd, you can make a 4th, and then the same for 5th, etc. You can also switch after the 3rd to make one for the park you will hop to later.
