"Official" 2018 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - Holiday Magic

I booked the Tony's party for my mom and me on Dec. 2nd. I'm wondering if we would be better off booking the Terrace Dessert Party so that she can see the fireworks...although off at a bit of an angle. She is 91, and will be in a wheelchair. I'm wondering if it would be easier to find a spot to see the parade for her than the fireworks? Any opinions?

This was tweeted by Josh (EasyWDW) who did the Tony’s party last night.

“This is what a $99 per person parade spot looks like”

It’s a nice view imo, but with my luck someone would stand in front of me and put a kid on their shoulders. Lol. I’m still deciding if I should book it.
I'm assuming no one could get in front of you if you are literally standing on the curb though, right? I mean they keep the street totally clear for the parade, right?

We are going in a couple of weeks- could someone please tell me exactly where we could get the “good snowfall”- is it by castle or on main st? Thank you so much!
the snoap machines are ONLY on top of the Main Street buildings, because of wind direction some snoap might go towards the castle but it is concentrated ONLY on Main Street. It snows through out the night

Absolutely true. I mean, of course someone could squeeze in front of you... but that would be messed up.

I'm having trouble visualizing the flag pole viewing area. I've never seen a parade from there. I would imagine there are not enough curb spots for everyone. Some (most??) people would have to stand behind others. If the solution is to grab a quick bite of the food, then rush out there early for a curb spot in a reserved area-- then it truly is not worth the $99. I can stake out a curb spot anywhere else in the park without the premium.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong! I've never seen the parade from that area.

here's the spot, basically you are sitting/standing under the tree. To grab this spot you have to get there at least 3 hours before the parade (not exagerating I've had to do it) it is very popular with vbloggers and photographers. People do stand behind others bit still you get a great view

OK just catching up on all this- 6 days till our very first MVMCP- we'll be mapping out our plan now that the map is out this weekend and catching up on tim tracker- thank you all for your great info!!

Do they have a separate walking area with photo ops like they did for MNNSHP in the “backstage” area?

Yes, Josh has me intrigued on it, now. I was banking on a crap review so I would continue to hate it, lol. Dangit, Josh! Still don't think I can shell out the $$ for 4 though, without flinching a WHOLE lot!!

I think Josh made excellent points.

If you highly value a prime parade spot on Main Street without having to wait a long time (1) and will enjoy 3-4 adult beverages (2), then it could be worth it. Food (3) was the thing he was least impressed with mentioning quality, freshness, and variety.

I am personally going to spend around the total for 1 person to attend on dinner for my family in MK and scope out a spot for the parade in Frontierland, but I am ok with not having the snow/castle in sight with it.

Can anyone confirm when the Seven Dwarfs M&G started? I am trying to figure out a plan, we want to see the parade, fireworks and meet Jack & Sally and also Seven Dwarfs. We are not to worried about the rides we will be able to do those on other days etc. I thought we could do one of the M&G first thing and then leave the other till later in the evening.

right? I'm here like "man Josh didn't hate it, it must be amazing" :lmao:
You're telling me! I set up a little reminder on my phone for Wednesday (aka: payday). I'll give it until then to decide. It's not everyday that Josh likes something ;)

Plus, I thought the Tony character thing was really cool. Lump me into that nerd category.
