Isn't Cosmic Rays where they do the Club Tinsel dance party? Can you still get dinner there?
Club Tinsel is only on the bottom portion of the eating area. The upper level still has tables open and the outdoor seating is also available. The bay facing Tomorrowland serves the party treats (cookies and hot chocolate) and the one that faces the main eating area serves dinner.

Glad I'm not the only crazy one that booked this party with a 2yo!!! I figure if he is sleeping by the time the parade starts that his loss!! Hahahaha

I have no idea why I chuckled so much at this, but I did! And I will share a dark secret with you.... I am telling my family this trip is a family Christmas gift and the Tony’s add on is for their pleasure, but truth is.... I booked this trip, Star Wars the Void, the JBJB dessert party, and the Tony’s because I wanted to! Yeah that’s right, I am treating myself... and telling them it’s all for them.:rolleyes1

Quick question for those who've attended Tony's Merriest: Has anyone noticed if Tony is out and about after the parade from 12 to 12:30am. Or does he only entertain prior to the parade?

I follow a disney blogger on instagram and he was at the party last night posting his character waits.

He was one of the first in line for J&S. Got there at 3:15 and got out at 4:35

He got in line to see the 7D at 5:15 and met them at 6:45

He got in line to meet Nick and Judy at 7:00 and met them at 7:45

In line to meet Jack Sparrow at 9:18 and met him at 9:35.

He got in line to meet Moana at 9:50 and met her at 10:00.

We are back from our trip, and had an amazing time at the party! Myself and my two kids entered at 4pm, used our three fast passes we had booked for pre-party, took a bunch of pics, then rode 7DMT (my son has a DAS), then headed to Scrooge and Donald's line at 630. We were out of there by 730 and headed over to watch the castle lit up. Then rode a few rides with zero waits (Haunted Mansion, Carousel, Small World). Headed to Tony's right at 9:30 for the party. I posted a couple of pics from our parade viewing spot earlier in the thread. But, it was seriously a million dollar view! Definitely worth the $99. I booked the party while on the bus on the way to the MK. I was SO happy I did! It was a nice break from the heat also, it was HOT on Friday!!! We did watch the fireworks from that same spot, some of them were blocked a little. But, we still enjoyed it! There were several non party goes trying to camp out in our area, they were eventually booted. There was still SO much space in our immediate vicinity during the parade. I guess because there were only a little over 130 guests at the party ( I saw the check in sheet). It still didn't even seem like 130 in that area though! I sent my two kids to meet Mickey while I stayed in our parade spot. The posted line was 10 minutes. Only 10 minutes! They are almost entering the room, and then my 19 year old son says he doesn't want to go in for whatever reason!! (Autism kicks our butt at least once a day lol). So they came back to our parade spot! LOVED the parade! So awesome, so much snow! We enjoyed the food and the desserts at the party, I'm not a drinker, and it was way too hot for hot cocoa! But, the soda and bottled water were good!

Right after the parade we ran to Tortuga for a snow cone and pretzel, then to Thunder Mountain and there was NO wait. This was at 11:50pm. My kids rode once, then got off wanting to go again, but at that point the line was closed. We headed back to the castle to watch a blip of Donald singing Feliz Navidad, then went back to Tony's for a second round of dessert on the patio. We stayed there until 12:30, Tony was around and signing! Since it was now my birthday, we ran over to City Hall for my Birthday Button, but the line was SO long and my daughter was complaining! I said seriously?! It's my birthday! LOL. I've never been IN a park ON my birthday! We didn't stick around in the line, I said I'll get one at the resort. I was a little bummed...won't lie! But, I get it, long day, tired! But, the best was my son...he said "Happy birthday mom" as we were walking out....I was surprised to hear that from him, as he doesn't usually just say stuff like that without being prompted (Happy Mother's Day, Father's day, etc.)...made my day!

Two questions, 1. How was the pretel?? I'm looking forward to a good pretzel.
2. I had booked fp for the pre party was not using a park ticket that day. I booked for the whole trip and got the email today that I would be losing my last days fast pass. So i had to cancell my Party fast passes to save my last days choices. Is there another way or did you have park ticket days?

Happy belated Birthday to you!! I LOVE your outfits. Your daughter’s dress is so cute! You 3 looked like you had an awesome time!

We went to the first party. We just got home late Sunday night/Monday morning.

We got there around 2:00 since we had a park ticket. Did our 3 FP+ and had dinner around 4:30 at CHH. We got in line for 7 Dwarves around 5:25 and were done by 7 pm. We then went to Tomorrowland, stood in one long fast moving line for treats and decided then the treats weren't worth it and didn't do any other lines. It was a cookie in a plastic bag and premade snow cones that tasted like water.

We then walked around, watched some shows, enjoyed the atmosphere, rode BTMR and sat in the Plaza Garden in front of Casey's for the fireworks. We got their a half hour before. They were amazing!!! We tried to get a spot on Main Street for the parade but it was crazy crowded so we headed toward Liberty Square and got a spot near the Hall of Presidents. Front row with a great view.

We did enjoy ourselves but I don't think it's worth the money. One and done for sure. The crowds were very high especially considering it's a special event. It was busier that day than our regular MK days. I don't regret doing it but we definitely won't do it again.

I was talking to someone on DME going back home and they also went to the party on Friday, which was their fourth time going, and they said they won't go again. They said the crowds were too high for the cost.

Sweet! The characters I want to meet. That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure about Moana. Now to fit Pooh & Friends in this line-up.

Yeah, he’s great: dustin_b_hayes on instagram. He’s a local that usually goes to all of the Disney events. He didn’t do any add-ons, and I’m not sure if he saw the parade. He’s a character guy, so he’s good for that type of info.

Has anyone tried lining up for the 7 dwarves meet & greet during the first parade? I have tony’s Booked so I was thinking it might be a shorter wait at that time. Thoughts?

I'm guessing the Star Wars Guided Tour is what she meant? We're doing that on 12/1!

The Pretzel was decent!!

I have read this about the FP, but that didn't happen to us. Here is how our trip purchases went down though. I only bought xmas party tickets, and they were in my account. I bought those in October. I then booked my fastpasses. A week or so later I added some one day tickets we won through a fundraiser for our other days for my 2 kids, and bought a 2 day ticket for myself. We booked fast passes for those other days prior to our trip, probably 2 weeks out. So I'm not sure why mine weren't cancelled to be honest. We booked our three which started at 3:30 up until 6pm

I am thinking....
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios, for
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular (nighttime fireworks and show).... But not sure (what OP referring to) b/c this should not be occurring, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! takes its place during the holidays.

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/hollywood-studios/galactic-dessert-party/

because....SW: GE, IMO would be Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge...The new Land opening next year in HS.
