Pixie Dust, or Pixie MOUNTAIN? A Grand (Roy) Disney TR *NEW TR LINK 8/11!*

OMG we leave in 6 days!

:jumping1:

I have absolutely nothing done

:scared1: I'm usually the complete opposite when it comes to planning. I start laying out stuff months ahead of time. Truth be told I already have two shirts picked out for the May trip. :rotfl:

the CM asked if they liked the parade and the dad said they left before the first one and didn't do any rides or meet characters, just went at 7 when it started, did some trick or treating, and are back now. What????

That's just crazy! To spend that much money on the party and only stay two hours? :sad2:

Soon Hallowishes began and while I wish I'd taken more pictures, we just watched and enjoyed.

Looks like a great spot to watch them. I found a new "hidden" place to watch from by accident while we were at the party. No one else in my group wanted to watch the fireworks (apparently the rest of my family are weird and hate fireworks. :confused3) so while they were going off, we decided to ride the Tomorrowland Speedway. Yeah, you read that right, the Speedway. But WOW, we were right underneath the perimeter fireworks and it was awesome. Luckily Jim was driving because I was just staring open mouthed up at the sky the whole time. I was in such awe that I totally forgot to take out my camera and document the experience.

Glad to hear you liked SDD it looks like fun.
I was wondering about the Alien Saucers because the teacups make me
Yes SDD is pretty awesome, I'm sure you'll love it!
I'm not really caring if I ever do Alien SS again but it definitely didn't make me as sick as the teacups do , so it's worth trying it out; it is cute!

Haha I could have told you Hiker Chic was not for you. It's way too long for you!
 yup too short!

An option is to size down in the Hiker Chic which is what I sometimes do and then I wear it higher up on my waist. It looks like a Swing Style that way but it also works as SPANX. :)
I already did my re-order but that's not a bad idea; might try that next time I order :thumbsup2

UHH UHH not Chris. YAy maybe he's coming around.
lol we'll see. That was one conversation: ONE..........................

Um - make them fend for themselves.
They will either be naked or wearing the same clothes for 8 days :crazy2:

Just focus on making sure you have all the cute things and tools to keep your bangs in control.
lol! They've grown quite a bit since our Sept. trip so haven't been giving me much trouble, but it'll totally depend on the humidity :scared:

Don't you mean the DeVizio Suite (sorry if I got the spelling incorrect)? Did you ever hear any noise from Citricos? Or smell food from there?
You spelled it right!!!
Nope not at all, had no idea where we were from the inside except paradise lol

I still can't believe we are going to miss each other again! Have a great trip!
:sad2: Will you be up around Xmas/New Years?

Do rich people use a new toothbrush every day and/or NOT pack one?!?!
:rotfl2:
I would not know......................

Have a great trip! Here's to more magical moments and tons of pixie dust!!!!!!!!!:smooth:
:thanks: I'll send you some pictures!

I would pay money to see that.

Not a lot. But some, or maybe a tour or Lunch with the floral Team sort of thing.
Actually that would be a pretty good tour; after seeing those ladies working at the GF I think I'd take it!

Awww!! :) I'm really looking forward to meeting you both in May!
Same here :goodvibes

That's the worst feeling. I was literally packing everything the day before on this past October trip and I vowed right then NOT to do that in April! I think I should start packing now!
Well I have 1.5 out of 4 suitcases packed and I'll be finished my errands tomorrow, so I guess I feel a little accomplished?? Work always gets busier right before I go away, which is nice but makes it more stressful!

Oh, I think I would have needed to try!. If you get that fancy suite in May I am FOR SURE pushing some:P buttons
:rotfl:you can for sure press buttons if I get upgraded in May; think I'll go check out whatever the WL's most expensive room is now to see where I'll be staying :car:

I love your humor. A Jetsons reference at Disney. AWESOME.
:thumbsup2
It just kind of fell into place lol

We watched HEA at least 3x from this area in August, it is a really good spot!
I believe it's now my favorite out-of-the-park spot :goodvibes
We never tried anything other than the cream cheese danish from here in August, the sandwich looks good!
And that was the only time we made it there too, although it we hadn't been club I'm sure we would have gone a couple more times. I was very surprised with the sandwich, so much better than other resort qs we've had.

What happened to your fancy club level food lady :P
:snooty: Well we did have about 45 minutes left until the lounge closed but I needed HEAVY food!! Servings the size of a quarter wouldn't have cut it lol

I would never have guessed this. Who knew you were getting dinner and a view!!!
a TS view at QS prices

Fitting that your room would be right about Citricos. Any chance Ronnie brought some:snooty: food up to you? :P
You know what's funny, I SO wanted to go to Citricos to we could tell him where we were staying lol! But, and I know this sounds stupid, I had absolutely nothing, nada, zero clothes to wear to Citricos. And it was so hot I would have had to wear like a skort and tank top anyway so we nixed it. Silly, I know :(

Wow! What a perfect location for it! :cloud9:
Ha right? Just send that Citricos food right on up with some more chocolate Mickey and champagne!

I thought about you last week. There was a day that we went to the GF 4 times. I saw the chocolate eggs near the afternoon tea area and thought about you and your previous report.
Aw, that's nice! And I hope you guys had an awesome trip, I was terrible at keeping up with your PTR but if you're doing a TR, I'm in and I'll be better :o

The toiletries look awesome, I can see why there were a few of those in your bag when you left.
lol if there were a few Steve probably wouldn't have made that comment! I believe it added about 15 lbs. to our luggage!

Only six days till your next trip, how exciting!!! I hope you all have an awesome trip.
:thanks: Four days left, 6 days worth of stuff to do!

Rob always says that about us, too.....sounds like you got a suitcase full!!! LOL On our summer stay at Pop, we had those wall-mounted toiletries, so I was kind of sad...until I realized I could wash my shampoo down the drain and fill it up from the dispenser on the wall! #winning #maybestealing #sorrynotsorry
Now THAT'S an idea :scratchin I hate those dispensers though, and last I heard they're now at my WL :headache:

Have a great trip!! Can't wait to hear about it!
Thanks Meghan!

Oh wow your suite is right above your favorite restaurant ;)
That view from outside Gasparilla's must have been beautiful pixiedust:
It was gorgeous, and I'll definitely go back there to watch them especially since I dislike watching HEA from inside MK!

The perimeter fireworks they do are cool from inside the park, but since they are all around you, I expect they are just as impressive from a distance.
Very impressive, it didn't feel or look much different (to me) than being IN the park! Except I wasn't locked in between 1000 sweat people :crazy2:

Is it some kind of little light or signal for housekeeping so they know if the room is occupied. I guess anyone who actually pays for the suite (i.e. celebrity?) would like privacy, so that would avoid housekeeping walking in on them.
That's a good guess letting housekeeping know if anyone is in the room, I'm positive celebs stay there because I've heard a few that stay at the GF and there's only one suite bigger :cool1:

:scared1: I'm usually the complete opposite when it comes to planning. I start laying out stuff months ahead of time. Truth be told I already have two shirts picked out for the May trip. :rotfl:
OMG lol, I wish I could be that organized! I have to even re-open my bins to be reminded what Disney shirts I have! I haven't finished planning our April DL trip let along do anything for May other than my resort and say "yes" or "no" to dining reservations lol

This is very funny, followed by very cool! I'm really the only one that likes fireworks, too; Steve will watch them but could get by without seeing any. The boys? No caring at all :sad2:

Well glad you are almost done packing. I put aside 3 shirts last night to pack as I was cleaning out my closet and putting stuff in a pile to donate on Friday morning. I also have some snacks. That's about it for my packing, and I won't even be home for the next two evenings since I play tennis late. I may have to try to pack a little bit today after work.

How cool about that suite location and the abundance of extra toiletries and goodies. I loved our one and only stay at the GF I must say, thinking we may have to stay there again in the future. We only made it to the GG once I think, but I remember thinking the food looked pretty good there. I believe it was also a late-night visit for us when we did go.

I guess I'll be seeing you REAL SOON!

Rosie the Robot came out and started scooping up all our crap and shoving it down a secret garbage chute somewhere
giphy.gif

Well, with 3 days to go and no desire to go upstairs and work on packing, I figured I'd give a quick rundown of our plans for our Thanksgiving trip ::yes:: Ordered my Landry's card, Sparkleskirts set, shrunk the shirts I bought from RedBubble, so I have been accomplishing something!

Sun. 25th: go home :sad1:
But, not until ME gets us around 2:30! The kids only have 8 day PH's so not sure if I'll add a day, which will cost significantly more than it would have a few months ago, or if I'll book a lunch at a resort or DS and that'll be that. My $ is on adding a day - until we do and then my $ won't be on anything except Disney's cash register tape...............

Also planning on meeting up with Tammy @wdwnut61 again, we got to meet back in Nov. 2016 and are staying at the WL the same days. And I'm going to try meeting up with @summerskye too, since we'll be in the same park a few days! If I missed you and you'll be there at the same time, let me know!

There ya go! We're getting our first snow storm tomorrow so the kids will most likely have early dismissal; I don't care as long as it's not Saturday!

Here are the RedBubble shirts I ordered. Sadly they were way too big; all of them. So far Ricky's and Chris's have shrunk enough so they can wear them but mine is yucky. Doesn't hang right and I think it's as shrunk as it's gonna get. I'll probably still bring it but probably won't wear it :sad2:

Mine:
IMG_9464.JPG

See it just looks boxy, like it has no shape at all. Not soft either.

Ricky's:
IMG_9461.JPG

Excuse the wrinkles lol I took the pictures right after pulling them out of the dryer! I LOVE his. First of all it's super soft and I also love how the design looks.

Chris:
IMG_9460.JPG

While Ricky likes his, Chris says he's not wearing this  His is more like mine, not soft at all and loses it's shape. We'll see!

Here's a shirt I picked up in Sept. at Uniqlo, first thing I ever bought there!

IMG_9463.JPG

And since I'm sharing, here are a few other things I bought in DS on that trip that are coming with me this time:

IMG_9189.JPG

Here's the one the boys LOVE:

IMG_9190.JPG

BTW that's Chris's dresser and his medal behind the dress not mine! I'm not sure which day or where I'll wear this, but it's already packed! I might wait until the boys really annoy me and wear it the next day since they love it so much :thumbsup2

And finally:
unfairest.jpg

Mmhmm, well it says "Unfairest of them all". I bought this and the Ursula dress at the new store there which I can't think of the name of and am too lazy to look it up; you know which one I mean.

I'm going to do my best and get one more update out tomorrow or Fri. but the way things usually go, it won't happen. I'll be back to work on this as soon as we return though!

I didn't get that much farther tonight unfortunately, but I did get some errands done so that's good!

I guess I'll be seeing you REAL SOON!
:dancer:

I’m enjoying your trip report. I was wondering if you are an Annual Passholder?
And if you are, do you have any trouble making Fast Passes for trips that are close together like these two trips are? I just bought my first annual pass, and I’m not a Florida resident. I have two trips booked staying at Disney Resorts that are 35 days apart. So the 60day window for my March 6th trip will open before I even begin my January 23 to February 1 Trip. Am I going to have trouble making FastPass+ for my second trip at 60 days?

Everything sounds amazing, especially as I'm watching the snow falling here in Chicago, too!

Love the designs of your shirts. What a bummer that they came so huge! At least you were able to shrink a couple of them. I love the super soft shirts--I wish every shirt I owned was as comfy to wear as those!!

Have so much fun!!

I didn't realize we'd be arriving the same day...I'll just be there a few hours earlier than you. We plan to spend the morning/afternoon at MK on Saturday, but I'm really thinking I'd like to try to hit HS that evening for Fantasmic! if my brother and family arrive early enough and are up for it. If that's the case, we could be at the park at the same time if you are viewing the Sunset Greetings...maybe. You'll be at dinner when we would be entering for the show (8pm that night).

We do plan to be at MK on Sunday for sure, but depends on how late you arrive and how long you stay. We will have to leave for Chef Mickey's between 11:30am and around 1:30pm. We do have FPs at BTMRR at 2:10pm.

Wednesday we will be at MK again too. Our FPs are: 10:10am: BTMRR; 12:55pm: PeterPan; 3:10pm: 7DMT We plan to be at EPCOT that night for Illuminations. So does the Christmas tag for Illuminations begin Thursday I guess? I'm okay seeing plain Illuminations simply because nobody in the family has seen it (well nobody but our immediate ones).

Of course for sure we'll be able to meet on Thanksgiving if all else fails!

BTW I love all of the shirts...too cute. And you ALMOST had me buying Sparkle Skirts myself, but I had to restrain myself...and I'm sticking to jeans and shorts instead. I'll save the skirts for tennis.

I love the shirts, your trip sounds really fun! I hope the weather doesn’t cause any problems. I just saw NYC on the news and looks pretty snowy today!

Your plans cover a lot and FP look good for the week! Enjoy!

Jingle Cruise :santa:

That sounds like a great Thanksgiving Eve Dinner!

Wed. 21st: EMM at HS! Very excited for this!

Thurs. 22nd: Thanksgiving
Pack up and move to Wilderness Lodge
This sounds like bliss right now! My family is getting our of control! I need to escape in your suitcases.

There ya go! We're getting our first snow storm tomorrow so the kids will most likely have early dismissal; I don't care as long as it's not Saturday!
Did they have early dismissal? We had a full day. But I think they were NOT expecting as much as we got! It was crazy!

Mine:

See it just looks boxy, like it has no shape at all. Not soft either.
Too bad! I like it! Maybe I can find that style on teepublic, I like there shirts they use.

Have a Great Trip!!! Post lots of pictures!!!!

:welcome: thanks or reading along! Yes we're AP's, and as far as I know (unless they've changed it), you do have a limit as to how many days of FP's you can make. I didn't make our FP's for this trip until the day we returned from our Sept. trip so there was no problem. However, I went for a few days in Feb. and had FP's booked for 3 days. While those were booked but before I went I had to make FP's for our March trip and I could only make 7 days worth for myself (Feb. trip was just me for work). We were doing parks 8 days, so I had to wait to make mine for one day until I'd used a day of my Feb. trip......hope that makes sense! So at least then the limit appeared to be no more than 10 days of FP's at a time. I just made them for the boys and Steve and then added myself later; I didn't choose our last day but an Epcot day since we were only FP'ing TT and SE :)

A morning scheduled just for Chris. :rotfl2:
That's pretty much his whole DAY schedule if there's no school!

Everything sounds amazing, especially as I'm watching the snow falling here in Chicago, too!
Ugh, it started here around 3:30, our first snow. I do love snow but it came hard and fast so TONS of people are still stuck on the roads and there are major accidents everywhere. As I type my mom has been trying to get home since 4:45 and last we spoke, about 20 minutes ago, she was half hour away on a good day.

if my brother and family arrive early enough and are up for it. If that's the case, we could be at the park at the same time if you are viewing the Sunset Greetings...maybe. You'll be at dinner when we would be entering for the show (8pm that night).
Awesome! I hope to be there by 3 if not a little before and we'll probably stay until right around 7

We do plan to be at MK on Sunday for sure, but depends on how late you arrive and how long you stay. We will have to leave for Chef Mickey's between 11:30am and around 1:30pm. We do have FPs at BTMRR at 2:10pm.
Hmm, well our first FP starts at 11 and since Steve isn't even a fan of hanging in the room in the morning I can't see us getting there any later than 11.......and I would think we'd stay until at least 3!

Now that day we might not meet up. We have the EMM at HS and I KNOW the boys are going to want to go back to the room and rest! And since we technically don't have to be at MK until almost 5, I can see us not getting there until like, 4.
I have to check again but I believe the holiday tag starts Friday? It was my goal to catch it on both of our past Thanksgiving trips and I didn't, so I will see it this year no question!

And you ALMOST had me buying Sparkle Skirts myself, but I had to restrain myself...and I'm sticking to jeans and shorts instead.
 I do mostly skorts in Disney anyway, so now I'm just fancier and sparklier pixiedust:

Have a wonderful trip! I can't wait to hear all about it! :goodvibes
Thank you!!!

I hope the weather doesn’t cause any problems. I just saw NYC on the news and looks pretty snowy today!
Holy crap, it only started around 3:30 and we must have 8-10 inches! Lots of accidents around, kids already have a 2 hour delay tomorrow and I won't be surprised if they cancel school. But hey, as long as it isn't Saturday, I don't care!

Did they have early dismissal? We had a full day. But I think they were NOT expecting as much as we got! It was crazy!
Ah, they let them out 30 minutes early  It was so stupid lol! We kept hearing up to 6 inches and we easily have close to 10 now; already called a 2 hour delay tomorrow.

oo bad! I like it! Maybe I can find that style on teepublic, I like there shirts they use.
I like the ones I've gotten in the past and Ricky's this time is sooooooo soft :cloud9: Even Chris's is ok, just mine that sucks lol. I also like my teepublic ones like my SMEE shirt.

Have a Great Trip!!! Post lots of pictures!!!!
:thanks: you know I will!

Still Rolling in the Dust
Day 3 Part 1
Ah, so nice waking up in our suite for the 2nd day in a row! Unfortunately no time to revel in the glory as we (I) wanted to be somewhere for rope drop. We did have time for breakfast in the lounge though:

IMG_8795.JPG
Steve's plate, which had a bagel, shaved ham, some type of muffin I can't remember and a spinach frittata. He said the ham was delicious and I know the frittata was because I had some, too!

IMG_8794.JPG

You all see my frittata's :P Surprisingly the cinnamon roll wasn't that good, it was very dry; however that pecan roll totally made up for it because that thing was a thing of beauty and deliciousness :cloud9: Needless to say it wasn't the only one I had this trip.

Feeling full enough we caught a bus to Hollywood Studios. My goal was SDD at RD, which I planned before knowing I'd ride it the night before. It's so cool though that I wanted to ride again, and we did:

IMG_8797.JPG

We didn't get there until 8:40 for the 9:00 opening so we were FAR from the front of the pack, and let me tell you that RD stampede is crazy! #notfun, we haven't done a RD race like that since pre-FP + TSMM fun!
It worked out great though; the line seemed quite long when we got there but we only waited 20 minutes, and we were across from the entrance to TSM. Love love love this ride! I would've loved to ride twice but when we were off, the posted wait was already 80 freakin' minutes so, nope.
I took advantage of the early morning freeness to ride my favorite a couple times:

IMG_8804.JPG

Funny, I always look for something "new" when I'm in the lobby here and this was the first time I ever noticed this set-up! It's right on the left when you walk in.
We rode 3x before deciding it was time to head back to Epcot, but not before realizing that, as much as we were enjoying all the F&W booths we needed something more solid for lunch. I got on the app and booked lunch at 12 at Rose and Crown. We'd eaten there before but the last time was way back in 2012, and we were both looking forward to something "new".
We did actually stop back at the resort first to change, it was H-O-T and we both needed no sleeves lol. While there I was texting with another DISer, Sue @Wood Nymph, who was nearing the tail end of her time in Epcot with her DH Dana. We were lucky enough to have met back in May 2017 at the Pandora AP event and we were lucky enough to meet again now, as we arrived for lunch and they headed out! We did takes pictures and both Sue and I look absolutely fabulous, however you won't find pictures of her on the DIS and therefore, mine will remain unposted :) We had a nice chat with her and Dana as the sweat poured off my head by the gallon; always nice to see them and I hope our paths cross in the future!
It was pretty much exactly 12 after our meet so we went directly to Rose and Crown, where we only waited about 5 minutes for a table. We wasted no time ordering our beverages:

IMG_8806.JPG

Steve got a Guinness and I got this:

Banfi Rosa Regale, Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG, Piedmont
slightly sweet red sparkling wine with rose petal aromas and strawberries, raspberries, and cranberries on the palate

Couldn't have described it better myself! It was delicious and refreshing, fruity as described, sweet but not too sweet. I need to find this on other menus!
We also both got appetizers:

Crock of Potato Leek Soup

IMG_8807.JPG

This was mine. I loved the potato leek soup at BOG and enjoy it in general, but this fell rather flat. Just didn't have much taste unfortunately.
Steve got this:

Coronation Salad
Crisp Salad with an Apple-Madras Yogurt Dressing

IMG_8808.JPG

This looked so much better when he got it than I thought it sounded and Steve thought so, too! I didn't taste the dressing although I should have since he doesn't give much in the way of descriptive reviews......

For our entrees Steve went real U.K traditional:

Fish and Chips
“Rose & Crown’s Signature Dish” Beer-battered and served with House-made Tartar Sauce

IMG_8810.JPG

This is also what he got way back in 2012 and he thought this huge piece of fish was cooked pretty perfectly with no grease.

I got something I'd had another version of at Yak and Yeti as well as in Harambe Market, both on other trips:

Chicken Masala Curry
with Seasoned Vegetables, Basmati Rice, and Raita

IMG_8809.JPG

First, see that riata up there at 12:00? I could have eaten a huge soup bowl of that. This whole dish was amazing except for the peas that I find pretty disgusting (thanks for ruining those for me as a child, mom). The chicken was tender and the masala curry nice and spicy. The riata complimented this perfectly since it cooled you off after the chicken warmed you up. Really the riata, rice, and naan all balanced out the heat of the dish.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and definitely won't wait that long to return, although sadly we're not eating there next week. We were both too full for dessert but I wasn't too full to try the pineapple wine at the Hawaii food booth:

Florida Orange Groves Sparkling Pineapple Wine, St. Petersburg, FL

IMG_8813.JPG

Mmm, didn't like it. I know it's popular and being sweet and fruity you'd think I'd like it, but it left a weird aftertaste. Oh well, there'll be plenty more :drinking1along the way!

By the time we walked ALL the way to FW Steve had developed a taste for dessert, so he stopped off for something he got at the festival last year:

Liquid Nitro Chocolate-Almond Truffle with Warm Whiskey-Caramel

Sadly I can't post the picture because I'm at my limit so I hope you've all seen it before! I took a bite; liked it because, well, chocolate, but not enough to waste calories on one. Steve on the other hand loved it since the chocolate isn't overly powerful.

I'm going to stop here for now after I give you our last little bit of pixie dust, which wasn't anything huge and may be normal for those lucky enough to stay in the Roy suite, but it was a nice surprise. While eating lunch I checked to see if there happen to be a FP for FEA. Much to my surprise I found that an anytime FP had been added to our account! At that point I had no idea why but hey, who cares why? It also didn't have the normal stipulations on it as far as not being able to use it on FEA, FOP, 7DMT, so while I first thought to use it on FEA we decided to instead run over to AK and use it on FOP!
We ended up getting an anytime FP each remaining day of our trip and it would show up mid to late morning. Again, I don't know if this comes with the suite or it was just more pixiedust:!

I'll pick up here after our Thanksgiving trip in 2 days! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday! If I happen to NOT be FB friends with you and you want to check out my pictures while we're away, feel free to "friend" me - Ariane Costa DeVizio. I can't put my Instagram here because it has my business name in it and it'll get bleeped out lol.

See ya soon! :smickey:

that pecan roll totally made up for it because that thing was a thing of beauty and deliciousness :cloud9: Needless to say it wasn't the only one I had this trip.

Yum - I prefer a good pecan roll/bun over a cinnamon roll and too often they fall flat. Glad this was a good one for you.

Wow - that's a nice little bit of added dust.

Hope you have a wonderful trip and a bit of pixie dust carries over.

We took our food outside to a table around what I'm going to describe as a huge patio; some of you know where I mean and if you don't, sorry! There's lots of tables set up outside Gasparilla Grill and then this roundish area with some potted plants and benches, and it's the perfect view of the fireworks.
We stayed at GF in December last year and in 2016 and discovered the great view of the fireworks from the patio in front of Gasparilla's. The best part was ordered food and having it delivered to our outside table while we watched the Christmas party fireworks. We also watched the 4th of July fireworks from that patio. It is my favorite thing to do at the GF. :)

And with that we finished our 2nd GRAND day in the Roy Disney Suite! But I did promise you some toiletry pictures, right? Not something that's usually exciting, and most of what we had we'd gotten before at deluxe resorts and when we stayed CL at WL, but there were some new ones, too. These may be normal for all GF CL stays but since this was our first ever stay here, they were new to us.
It is a very impressive selection of toiletries and I was surprised to see them in our deluxe suite at the Wilderness Lodge. It is about time Disney stepped it up a bit with the extras for the club level rooms. Here is a picture of our toiletries from WL:

Light switch in the foyer, something you've all been dying to see. Obviously ceiling lights we got: Steve kept wanting to ask at the concierge desk what the others meant but we'd forget and I wouldn't let him push them in case Rosie the Robot came out and started scooping up all our crap and shoving it down a secret garbage chute somewhere, but if you know what any of them do by all means, share! All we came up with was "cleanup" may signal housekeeping to come....
I bet you are right and it does notify the housekeeping staff to come to the room to clean up. That is pretty fancy stuff. :)

I'm not really caring if I ever do Alien SS again but it definitely didn't make me as sick as the teacups do , so it's worth trying it out; it is cute!
I hate the teacups and anything that spins but this ride didn't bother me. It was more like being a passenger in a car that was taking the corners much too fast. :)

I may want to go back and see Sunset Greetings again
What is sunset greetings?

Here's a shirt I picked up in Sept. at Uniqlo, first thing I ever bought there!
I love that shirt. I bought a quilted vest at Uniglo, my only purchase there, that I wear all the time in this cold weather.

We were riding The Land when I got your text. It turned out to be perfect timing for us to meet you over by the International Gateway. It was fun to hear about your wonderful pixie dust upgrade to the Roy Disney suite. It was great to see you and Steve again and I was glad that the timing worked out so perfectly. :)

Did you ever count up how many pixie dust surprises you had on this trip? It has to be a record. :)

I hope you have a great trip. I love Disney when it is all decorated for Christmas and know you will have a good time. :)

and let me tell you that RD stampede is crazy!

Seriously! This was just madness when I was there in October.

I took advantage of the early morning freeness to ride my favorite a couple times:

It's pretty awesome now that TOT and RNRC have no line at rope drop since everyone is heading to TSL.

Banfi Rosa Regale, Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG, Piedmont

One of my absolute favorite wines! I have a bottle in the fridge at home right now. I was shocked to find it at my local super market. You can also get it at both restaurants in Italy and also the wine shop there. I had no idea that they served it at Rose and Crown!

I loved the potato leek soup at BOG and enjoy it in general, but this fell rather flat.

Next time try the Scotch Egg. One of my favorite appetizers in WDW. It sounds kind of weird and I'm not a huge fan of hard boiled eggs or sausage but when you combine the two, yum!

Fish and Chips
“Rose & Crown’s Signature Dish” Beer-battered and served with House-made Tartar Sauce

I do like the fish and chips here but actually prefer the one from Yorkshire next door.

Florida Orange Groves Sparkling Pineapple Wine, St. Petersburg, FL

I tried this too and also thought it was just OK. My favorite was the ice wine from the Canada booth.

Liquid Nitro Chocolate-Almond Truffle with Warm Whiskey-Caramel

Yum! Loved this one too.

Much to my surprise I found that an anytime FP had been added to our account!

Nice! You guys really did get the pixie dust on this trip!!
