Where does the Disney Tram drop people off now at the DHS park during construction?

Where does the Disney Tram drop people off now at the DHS park during construction? I understand that the DHS bus stop is temporary while they build the newly covered bus stops.

In the recent bioreconstruct photo above, you can see in the bottom right the DHS park entrance, security entrance and to the right of that the old Disney Tram drop off with a white van and truck is seen in the tram area.

Above that the new Disney DHS Gondola station. To the left of that is supposed to be a large restroom building.

Above that the new Disney bus drop-off construction area with canopies being built.

It is difficult to see the temporary Disney Bus drop-off in this photo because of the construction of canopies, but the bright white sidewalk of one part of the temporary bus drop-off can be seen.

And to the right of that is the temporary handicap parking being used.

The bioreconstruct photo above is a couple of weeks old and is from the opposite direction, but you can see the temporary Disney bus drop-off with the white sidewalks and no canopies. This will eventually be used for the other non-Disney bus drop-off area.

You can also see some of the canopies of the new Disney bus drop-off next to that under construction.

But, I can't figure out where the Disney tram is dropping folks off to the DHS park.

This is just an old photo before all of the new construction started showing where the old Disney bus drop-off and handicap parking used to be and the non Disney hotel bus drop off used to be located.

If you walk from EPCOT or other resorts to DHS they have a temporary walking path during the construction.

This is the temporary Disney bus drop-off for Pop Century resort until they complete the new Disney bus drop-off with new canopies to the right.

And this is the temporary Disney bus drop-off legend.

This map shows that #1 is Pop Century resort and #25 is Fort Wilderness campground and #26 just says Drop-Off. Have any of you been dropped off here for the Minnie Van Lyft service or tram?

The tram pickup is in the red rectangle. Basically, it only goes as far as the Television lot. The walking path thru the construction fences is in blue.

Just below the center of the red rectangle, you can see a few cars stopped facing the tram. I believe that's the current Uber/Lyft drop-off; if not, it's in one of the rows to the left. I think Minnie Vans are using the same location, but that's just an assumption.

Thanks for posting the photo, joelkfla. I asked bioreconstruct this very same question on Twitter yesterday. I'm glad that you caught it for me because I hadn't seen it yet. I am going over to Twitter to see if I can find it.

Thanks again for posting the photo, joelkfla.

Wow, joelkfla. You have really great eyesight. I saw bioreconstruct's photo yesterday, but I didn't even notice the trams in the photo. I guess that I didn't expect it to be there either in that particular spot. I guess that you enlarged the photo and added the red rectangle box and the blue walkway lines. Thank you for that. I really like the bioreconstruct's detailed photos.

LOL! I knew where the tram drop-off was from a visit last week.

I think the walk to the tram drop-off from the park entrance is almost as long as to the temporary bus loop. It looks shorter in this photo because of the camera angle.

Is this still the location for the parking lot tram drop-off / pickup? We will be there in a little over 2 weeks and want to know what to expect for distance since I'll have my mom and older sister with me. Thanks!

I'll be there a week from Friday and I'll post back when I visit DHS. Maybe someone else will answer the question before me. I'll be using the bus, but I'll still ask and take a photo.

Photo taken 11/9 from opposite angle by @bioreconstruct shows same location, but slightly shorter more direct walking route to the entrance.

Minnie Van pick-up & Mears taxi stand are now in the 1st row of the newly-paved lot. Uber & Lyft are still out beyond the tram pickup.

Thank you, joelkfla. Your photo shows they have already finished painting the new handicap parking spaces that took up the old bus pick-up and drop-off areas. I wonder if that under construction area will be the new tram turn around in the future. It sort of has a similar space.

I see the old bus operator's building where I used to pass the soda machines on the way to the DHS entrance minus the roof. I remember I used to walk past the building on the left along the construction fence to catch the old Pop Century Resort bus.

The Disney Gondola station roof looks more complete, too.

I'll miss not seeing the Christmas tree at the entrance, but I can see it inside DHS in the center of the lake. That should look pretty cool.

Yes, the new handicap parking (actually the old handicap parking) opened about a week ago. The area that was being used is still open as overflow handicap parking. I think DHS now has the most handicap parking of any park.

I think the area still dug up will be the tram loop. The bus office is old and in bad shape; I assume it will eventually be demolished and bus operations moved to the new building on the opposite side of the Skyliner station.
