You can do a lot with $3.5k!

I prefer URs as well because of their ease of use. Hotel, Car, Air. 1.5x. Majority of my travel is plane tickets to see friends domestically 2 months to 2 weeks out so not much time to plan mileage wise. Hotel wise I do book places besides Disney... usually because I’m bookending my Disney trips offsite because I like to stay at expensive Disney properties :) As such URs are my currency of choice as well.

Nothing is more depressing than coming home to a mess! I make sure everything is clean before we leave. Once when I was 14 or 16, we left for a 3 week vacation (we lived across the country from all our relatives) and my mom left a half-full cup of coffee with cream in the master bathroom :crazy2:

I can’t say my house is spotless when we leave, but no dirty dishes, things picked up, etc. When my sister goes on vacation, looks like a bomb went off in her house. Stopped in to check on things while she was in Greece last summer and :scared1: dirty dishes in the sink, food wrappers on the counter, coffee maker on, clothes all over the floor...I thought about cleaning it up for a second, then ran outta there.

I have got to try that show. Currently all tv time is being spent binging Timeless before the Dec series finale but I will need something to raise my crushed soul from the grave after the finale airs and it sounds like this might do the trick...

My DD would literally die if Someone walked up and addressed me as disneymagicgirl. :rotfl2:Her and her best friends think it is the most hilarious name ever. I’m constantly made fun of. Ok, well I chose it a million years ago....cut me some slack kids!

ETA: now that I think of it, this really needs to be planned out as a prank. “Oh my gosh is that you? Disneymagic girl? I can’t believe I actually get to meet you!?”
Would be priceless :rotfl:

I have a dancer as well. Something edible would be great gifts for fellow dancers and teachers. Hoping to get to Saks next week. My closest one is 25-30 mins and it's the 'outlet' version, Saks off 5th...??
 
@Judique it sounds like you worked out your Christmas tree issue but three words for you would be “cat tower tree.” Last year I couldn’t deal with thought of dragging tree out and then putting it back away couple weekends later so had the idea and sold it to the girls that we would put out two cat towers together, string lights on them, put the tree skirt and presents and call it good. It was more than a little disconcerting for the grandpas when they came over but otherwise a hit with both our 2 cats and the kids. We didn’t get a chance this past weekend but totally doing it again Saturday.

The DoC awards is on Twitter but should post tomorrow. Fellow Delta hostages will appreciate his survey choices for worst airline reward program (all the choices were Delta).

@tink1970 your plan with the Biz Plat seems ok to me. Paying so much for a benefit you won’t use doesn’t make sense. Plus that fee is a little sickening. And honestly you can only split your payments with Amex on different cards so much before it starts to get frustrating. But I am the last expert on them so take that for what it’s worth. I guess if you decided to try for the Biz Plat again you could; just wouldn’t get bonus?
