DME only sent me 5 yellow luggage stickers for 5 people. I think I'll have about 7 bags...what can I do - and since when do they only send 1 per person?

Just give the people that check you in at the ME podium the claim tags for the bags that do not have the yellow tags and they will pull those bags for you and bring them to the hotel as usual. We have done this many times. Can only ever remember them sending 1 tag per person.

ME definitely used to send two tags per person and you can call and ask for more to be sent as well, much safer than risking your luggage ending up at baggage claim and someone taking off with it.

Yes, this. The only other option is to collect the bags without the yellow tags from baggage claim yourself.

OP said they leave in two days, so no time for that. And I suspect DME started sending one tag per person around the same time most airlines started charging for bags, so I think its been like this for a while at least. I'm guessing they also want to deter people from bringing lots of bags to make it easier/faster for the baggage handlers.

Its been one per person for several years now.
I never needed more than that even when they were sending 2 per person.
I think that is probably the main reason they stopped sending 2 per person automatically because they could tell people were not using them.
You can call and get more sent to you or you can just hand the claim tickets to DME.

If you have a color printer you can counterfeit additional yellow tags.

Laminate the copies using (wide) transparent tape to guard against ink bleeding if the copies got wet and to guard against tearing off.

Currently there is no predetermined baggage limit on Magical Express.

Nah, there is really little risk. No more than letting the airlines take your bags at all.
This is very common at MCO.
The employees with Bags Inc are at the baggage claim to pick up bags continually. The instructions sent with ME even include the information to provide your claim checks to the agents if you don't have enough yellow tags. We've done it many times.
The one thing we did neglect to do our first time, keep the claim checks for the bags with yellow tags and the claim checks for the bags without yellow tags separate. So that when we got to the ME check-in, we didn't know which ones to give them, so we had to give them all. Next time, I made sure to keep them separate.

You need to write down the numbers on the claim checks to take with you in case a bag gets lost and you need to make a loss claim later. So don't be in a rush to leave the Magical Express counter for the bus lines.

You shouldn't give them up. They've never taken our claim checks. They log the numbers into the computer
