DI&S property/room configuration

What room types are closest to the front of DI&S? How about on the top floor?

Longer story behind the questions: We stayed with DGS#1 at Trop, and he's informed DGS#2 all about seeing Disneyland from the motel room, and seeing the monorail, and watching fireworks in his pajamas. But we aren't staying at Trop this time; we'll be at DI&S. I know there's a patio to watch fireworks, and I'm willing to let him go up to watch in his jammies, so I can manage that issue well enough. So now, I'm trying to hedge our bets about seeing the monorail track and a corner of Disneyland or DCA so that I don't invoke further amounts of Middle Child Syndrome by older brother getting something Middle didn't....

I believe it's the parlor suites on the 4th and 5th floors that have a window at the back of the room (so the window is facing PVI). Since PVI is only 2 stories you can see over it.

When we stayed in a C1 suite in 2017 I was told all the C1 suites were on the second floor. Don’t know how true that is, but room type will affect location. At least you will be able to see the park and monorail from the roof patio. And I don’t know if you can see fireworks from the roof of the Trop, but maybe that will be something DGS #2 will have that DGS #1 didn’t!

There's at least a few rooms at Trop where you can see the fireworks. It was amazing :) There's a king room on the 3rd floor with both north and west facing windows, and we had a great view out of that north window!

Off to search for the property map now!

Now I'm more confused, dang it. We stayed in 218 a few years ago. But the up front, back-side map of the rooms makes those rooms look smaller than 218, but 218 was just a regular 2-queen room.
With the exception of a few different rooms around the lobby, I *think* the deluxe and executive rooms are back in the courtyard, along with B1, since they are essentially just adjoining rooms. The 2nd floor in the front half(ish) is C-1, the 3rd floor in the front half(ish) is C-2, and the 4 & 5 floors are parlor suites. I don't think the room sizes are to scale on the map.

We stayed in a C2 Parlor Family Suite a month ago. We were on the third floor, and it was about halfway back down that looong corridor. If I looked out our front windows, I could see Guardians' tower. If I looked out the back window (where our bathrooms were), then yes we could definitely see (and hear) the fireworks. It wasn't the greatest view, because of the screen on the window. I didn't even know there was a patio to watch the fireworks from! First two nights of our trip, the winds were too strong, so they didn't do them. We did catch them on our third night though!
