Anticipating huge waits to get into Galaxy's Edge, Touring Plans has rumoured that there will be something called the 'Batuu Travel Agency' allowing you to buy a ticket to get into SWGA, like the after hours programs I assume but during the day. How much would you pay for one of these?

FYI - they discussed this on their podcast Disney Dish on episode 194.

Are we talking per person? I would not spend over $200.......and probably wouldn't spend over $150.

So, a person would need to pay for a park ticket, and then on top of that pay another $$$ just to enter the land, no FPs included? Sounds a bit much for me. I assume regardless if Disney does offer this, everyone will still be able to get (or try) a regular FP. I think I’d rather try for a FP or wait a while for the hype to die down. I mean $200 a person on top of ticket prices adds up. But my DH is a huge Star Wars fan, so I can not say never.

I think it's safe to say that there will be a paid preview event, I'm also expecting this to be offered a couple of days not just one before the general opening, and I don't expect it to be below $500.
Pixar pier, with recycled and repainted attractions did this for $300 at DCA

I think there is going to be more than just a few paid previews though. It was different with Pixar Pier and guardians because these rides themselves weren’t new so they weren’t working out things with loading/unloading etc. so I think we will see some mix of pandora type previews.

I might just have to live vicariously through the bloggers' posts/videos then. Of course it might make it difficult to enjoy TSL with my adult kids/granddaughter or will the entrance to SWGE be elsewhere? I remember hearing there will be two entrances. I wonder where they might be?

One is on grand Avenue the other is through tsl.

Sure, there will be DAH, EMM type events at around the $100 mark but you know people will pay around $500 to be some of the first people in.
We will also get free cm and ap, DVC previews

So they would close off SWGE to regular DHS ticket holders/guests during the day? Would I also have to buy a DHS ticket to enter SWGE? Not sure I see the value in it since there are four of us. If it was $100 pp I would do it, but I'm not sure I would do it if it could be really crowded. I'd probably just wait for the initial crowds to go down and FPs are available.

I'm talking about previews before the land officially opens to everyone. So yes you would need a regular park ticket plus whatever they're charging for the preview.
The great thing is that DL is opening first so whatever they do there they will probably do here

I think around $120 (plus park admission cost) would be my limit. We're not planning on braving HS again until at least late 2020 because of GE. Even though I'm sure crowds will still be wild. Honestly, I'm still surprised that TSL is as crowded as it is. I'm not sure what I expected but now I feel like GE will be jam packed every single day of the year for years to come.

that's an accurate estimate. Pandora still holds super long lines for both attractions. Batuu will be busy every day for years to come

I wonder if they will have Grand Ave as the only entrance, with exit only through TSL for the first few weeks at least, like they did with Pandora when it first opened? Grand Ave is set up better to be a holding pen if they are trying to control the number of people in the area at any one time. I can’t imagine they would want a SW crowd completely filling TSL while they wait to get in.

That’s a lot of people’s assumptions.

I chose other. Personally, I'm in the Do Not Buy camp. But DH and I have our first adults-only trip scheduled in early Nov and he's a huge SW fan. I don't know what we'd do if GE was open (previews or fully open with paid after hours events) during our visit. We'd consider changing our destination (can't just move our trip earlier, unfortunately). If we stick with WDW, I'd probably let DH make the call on if we should pay for access. If it's 200+, we definitely wouldn't. At $100, I don't know what he'd choose.

I voted more than $200. If it's a limited number of tickets where people can actually ride with no more than a 30 minute wait and at least 4 hours in GE then I would pay up to $500. I have AP so park admission isn't a factor. My plan is to go with a good friend of mine who also loves Star Wars but there is a small possibility I will take my 7 yo daughter which doubles the cost. If it ends up being a 2 hour event then I won't even entertain the idea of going unless its under $200.
