I’ve been doing them at S+S and buying at Walgreens with the 5% back plus 1% from pei. Otherwise it’s becoming more time consuming so I get it. Dabbled in gc reselling with the Happy card but otherwise can’t find a deal to make it wothwhile either

I have cut back...it was too time consuming and I was getting to the point I had thousands of $$ sitting on VGCs. I plan to max out Amex Gold 4x at supermarkets and I will probably get a few in BJs...assuming they are still $0 fee.

Sorry, I was referring to amazon accounts. We have three amazon accounts (under my Prime) and my amex cards are added to all three so I can get Amex deals 3x.

I did see that earlier tonight. I am so happy for her and the rest of her family! It's rare there are good endings in these situations. Had a nightmare last night that one of my dd's got abducted. It was such an awful feeling.

Well we went back to Staples tonight to use our Amex 10% deal. We cleaned them out of Disney gcs so I'm trying to convince Dh to drive 45 minutes this weekend to get more. I think it's worth the 10%. We tried going to Target to use our Redcard but that was just a mess. I don't really want to get into it, but our cards were declined because of a mistake Target made and we can't use our redcards at all now. We are definitely NOT Target people. We much prefer Walmart over Target.

OT- watching our local news. Not sure if you all are familiar with the Jayme Closs story. She is 13. Her parents were killed in October and they are certain she was in the house when it happened. She was taken and has been missing for 3 months. They find her alive tonight and has a 21 year old suspect in custody. Don’t know much. News conference tomorrow. Did not expect this outcome. So awesome!!

OT: Has anyone rented a car at MCO and turned it in at Disney? I know I've read you can do this but I'm not sure what to put as the drop off location. Trying to price through Costco currently.

Your ds's is the same dates as our district, and based on the crowd calendars, a lot of kids have spring break that same week. Regardless, I bet you are right though...they moved the dates because of Easter being so late...Oh well, we aren't doing parks but it's making airfare and hotels very $$.

I also have some guilt that we are leaving during my kid's spring break (and not taking them)...also my ds7's bday is the 27th and we have to fly out that morning...he says he is okay with it but oh man, the guilt is real. His grandparents will be here so he is excited about that and we will celebrate big with him before. I could not go and just send dh but I've not been able to go in the past (when the conference was at CR!) and he really wants me along. So, anyways, just venting a bit about why I'm disappointed on the timing...

Yeah bad timing for sure. My DS might never forgive me if I missed his bday, actually he would hold it against me if I went on a trip without him.

Our Spring Break is a pathetic 2 days. The Fri and Mon at Easter since it is state mandated. Can’t wait until next year with private school and having an actual Spring Break. Although we might not be able to afford to travel with the expense of tuition.

Wow. DS has off the last week of March AND Fri/Mon at Easter. And a 4 day weekend for MLK. And early dismissal last Wednesday every month...

Got an e-mail from PNC offering $15 for doing 2 bill pays. So set up 2 bill pays to DH for $1 each (got the idea from DoC comments). Hope it works. If the goal is to get me to use their bill pay, unfortunately I found it confusing and not user friendly....

I think you should be able to do it thru Costco. Haven’t done it at WDW but did at Disneyland.
