Visiting all the Asian Disney Parks Trip May 2019

Too bad I am off work in July and August only. July is when Japan is on sale. We will be going to Japan in July 2019. Will follow for any tips.

Have fun planning!

We are also doing all 3 parks but on our own. I also want to go Beijing, panda bears, tomb warriors and EBC.

Can anyone give me advice on how to get to Shanghai Disney from the main airport. I'm planning to do all three Far East parks in one trip next year as a solo traveller, but, unlike HK and Tokyo, the transport to and from the SD hotels from Shanghai airport doesn't look that straightforward. It's a surprise that Disney hasn't organised a Magical or Resort Express as they do for all the other parks (apart from HK, but, it's not really needed there)

Get a taxi! You should get a quote before getting in the taxi and be dropped at the gates where staff will be to avoid being ripped off. I would have the address in Mandarin or a picture of Disney on your phone to avoid misunderstanding.

Have you seen DisneyTouristBlogs guide to Shanghai? Lots of useful info in there.

I second the taxi. The subway takes way too long and if you can afford the flight, the cheap Chinese taxis would not be a problem.
If you arrive in Pudong and always wanted to take the Maglev, you could also do that and connect to a taxi.

Thanks all. It's more of a safety concern than a cost concern. I'm trawling through all the blogs and vlogs, but, there is little on the transportation issue for Shanghai.

This is pretty useful! It's written from a US perspective so may not be fully relevant depending on where you're based. I do think Shanghai Disney is in the middle of nowhere - I'm gonna stay on site for that part of the trip.

When I went the first year the park opened, my friend and I just took a taxi. Believe, it is worth it and not that expensive. You will save yourself a headache. However, if you decide to take the train, that is also easy. I did that once and I think the park is one of the last stops. You really can't miss it because they have their own train station. Hope this helps.
