Tell me the "weather" where you live.

I'm with you! I didn't measure, but we got a good 7-8", if not more - and most of it fell in the 3-7am period. Heavy stuff too. Add in the failing snowblower, and it was an unpleasant morning. The kids didn't miss a day of school in the last 3 years. This is number four for the 18-19 school year.

Sadly, we don't leave the state until July, and won't travel south of central PA until our CA trip over New Years. So, no escape for us!!

When it comes to the kids being out of school and grown, I dread most all of it. Being able to get away in the middle of winter, however, is one of the things I truly look forward to!

Well South Central PA is getting ready for another round of snow, ice. Last week was only a couple inches of snow, ice then rain. Most of that is gone.
Tomorrow they are calling for 8 inches, then ice. DW is off, her work shut down. Me, well we don't stop.....have the camera set up in my jeep to record the fun ride home. Guessing it will look a lot like the November snow in the big truck.
Picking up trailer next week, then time to get it ready for the season.

It started raining yesterday and suppose to rain through Sunday. Expecting flooding very soon since we already were mud and puddles when this started.

Funniest school closing (again today’s) ever. On TV, “school is closed again today in all schools in SW Wisconsin. Your last day will be July 5th, but then they will be closed because of extreme heat and humidity. Enjoy the fireworks in the 4th of July.” See you in July 6th for your last day of school. But, it is pretty outside.

Made it up to 34 today. Have a winter weather advisory for tonight, 1 inch of snow with a light glaze of ice. Still have lots of snow on the ground.

Sunny, mid 30's today with falling temps. Oh and 30+ mph winds with 50 - 60 mph gusts :scared::cold:

The winds have kicked up and are a whipping. Hoping everything stays put.....in the ground.

We had the winds down here too. 50+ mph gusts. Some power outages. Our trash cans won't stay put.

Typical Texas Winter :/ We'll be in Florida on Sunday- hopefully swimming in 84 degree sunshine :)

Do y'alls schools really close for high heat and humidity? And how high is high heat?
Of course, our schools/cities close when there is a "winter storm" which just means sleet and ice for 24 hours haha.

No, our schools do not close for high heat and humidity. We do have some heat and humidity the first several weeks school starts in September, but not bad enough to close. The windchill and of course snow and freezing rain does it for us. When the windchill is -30, it causes the diesel in the busses to gel. As this is a rural area, dangerous for kids. But, it’s March, and only 17 days till our trip to Disney, then our Disney Cruise.

Well got 5 inches of snow on Thursday night, got another 3 last night, have to go clear the driveway again. And the forecast is for more snow tomorrow, maybe a foot or more here in PA. So done with the snow. Have work to do on the trailer and truck for camping season, and neither one is happening in this icky stuff. :cold:

Calling for 2 inches of snow tomorrow. My local garden center had all their spring stuff out the other day and this girl has a pile of new throw pillows and new farm porch decor to set out. I say bring this beautiful snow just one more time and by Wednesday we should be out of our cold snap and then I can make it rain spring around here. I planted some 200 tulips last fall and I’m anxiety waiting for them to pop up!

Please spring hurry up!

Our schools in Illinois close for heat and humidity.

The public kids start back up one day and then get early dismissal for 3-4 days the first three weeks or so. Ridiculous!

We just wait until after Labor Day and then start back up on our lessons.

Why they make public kids start on the middle of August is beyond me. It’s still summertime!

Well another blast of snow on the way tonight, calling for 6 to 9 inches. It is then supposed to get cold, below freezing for a few days. Next week they are saying it will warm up...we will wait and see. Want to work in the trailer, but do not want to open it with snow on the way. Come on spring !!

La grange, Tx, It is 47 hi winds rain off & on. Monday AM chill factor 20 degrees. This is crazy weather for our area. Weather Channel is showing tornado warnings in South of Macon, Ga & that area. Be safe! Have a friend @ Disney today 3/03 it is 88.

Salem Alabama just had a large tornado & now another one coming in the same path. Praying it will go away.
