Does anyone know if I can reload a Disney gift card at the front desk of the resort? Or if not there where? I ordered a few GC's online but only put $25 on each (worried if they got lost in the mail). Or is it possible to reload them before I get down to Disney? I apologize if this in in the wrong place, please feel free to move it if so. Thanks in advance for any & all help!!

You can create an account on this site and load your cards that way.

https://www.disneygiftcard.com/

Designate one card as primary and load the value of your other cards onto that one, up to a maximum of $1,000.
You can have up to five cards with a value of $1,000 each in your account.

:)

You can combine them online at disneygiftcard.com. Click on "manage cards".

Last I checked the gift card site didn't have the functionality to add value, but you can combine them onto one card. I'd also leave a zero value card on your account so if you lose one with the money, you can transfer it to the zero value card.

If you have a Disney store near you, they can add value to gift cards ahead of your trip.

Thanks! Was hoping to be able to add money onto them online or by phone. Can I add money onto them at Disney? (Don't have a Disney store near me).

From the Disney Gift Card website FAQ's:

Where can I buy the Disney Gift Card?
Disney Gift Cards can be purchased at select locations at the Walt Disney World® Resort, Disneyland® Resort, Disney store locations in the US, and ShopDisney.com. Unless otherwise noted, please allow 5 to 7 business days for delivery of Disney Gift Cards purchased online.

Where can I reload my Disney Gift Card?

Disney Gift Cards can be reloaded at any Disney location that sells Disney Gift Cards. Online reloads are not available at this time.

There are a lot of stores that sell Disney gift cards. Just look on the gift card rack of any store that sells lots of gift cards. :) I can get them at Target, Walmart, Best Buy, the grocery store, the drug store and countless others. :) Of course, you would have to load those cards yourself.

You may already know that you can save 5% on Disney gift cards from Target if you purchase with your Target Debit card. You can purchase multiple cards from there and combine them as others have mentioned. Saving 5% on hundreds or even thousands of dollars can be significant. You can use Disney gift cards for mostly everything at the parks, even to pay for your hotel room (keep in mind for the future).

You can also buy e-cards that you can then upload onto the gift card site and to a physical card. You can buy those at the gift card site or target online (therefore also getting the discount if you use your target card). With e-cards the funds are available almost immediately and you don't have to leave the house.

Any Disney gift shop once you’re there. Since the front desk doesn’t sell GCs as far as I know, you probably can’t do it there. So just go to the gift shop.

I'm looking at purchasing some Disney Gift Cards from Target - it looks like I can even have one emailed to me. Do you know if I am able to then enter this gift card directly onto My Disney Experience to pay down my current hotel package? I'm hoping to confirm this is possible before purchasing a gift card with my Target card discount :)

Been there, done that-yes, it works. I accidentally dumped my gift card into the garbage after I'd eaten a CS meal-I just thought everything on the tray was to go. Thank goodness I had a zero balance card so I could transfer the money over to that card.

For a room only reservation, you have to call to use a gift card to pay (in full or partial).
For a package, I know you can call to pay (in full or partial) with a gift card. I'm not sure if it'll let you do it online or not. But, over the phone, definitely yes.

And just to add, if you used a travel agent, you can't make payments yourself on a package at all BUT you can call and give the TA a gift card for payment. I have one gift card specifically for payments, I gave the card # to my TA for her to keep on file and I just transfer balances onto that card when I'm ready to make a payment. Super easy.

I paid for my package online with Disney gift cards. You can go to the Disney gift card website and consolidate your cards up to $1000 and then use that card to make your payment online so you’re not trying to make a bunch of small payments. I don’t remember how many cards you can use at once online, but I just found it easier to do multiple big payments instead of a lot of small ones. If that makes sense.

Do you have an old physical gift card that you could transfer the e card amounts to so you can have a physical card just in case something happens and they have to refund money back onto the card?

I have a question about Disney Gift cards and didn’t want to start a new thread. I hope this is ok.

I have several Disney GCs of varying denominations that I plan to use for in park purchases only. Is there an app that I can load them to that would eliminate the need to carry all of these cards with me? I’m thinking of a scan and pay similar to the Starbucks app. I’ve tried searching online but I may be using the wrong terms.

TIA
