Can I just say that I love how you used the term nonstop... :thumbsup2

.......too soon? :duck:

I do hope your husband makes it home safe (and soon!) The (somewhat) good news is that airlines don't like to strand people when they can help it. If there are others flying that same connection with your husband they might hold that plane for them.
He still hasn’t boarded his Orlando flight which was supposed to have left by 5:30 so now he said he’s going to stay in Orlando and not fly out until 5 am tomorrow....

I got Buffalo, NY and Madison and Milwaukee, WI??? I was born in VA and raised in Southwestern CT and have lived in VA most of my adult life.
Did you answer Bubbler? That is pretty much an eastern WI thing. But I have heard of a few places where Kohler factories were in New England that do it too. Both of my kids were born in MN and now that we've moved to WI they both say bubbler, as does my wife.

I can't even like this comment :sad2:
All y'all non-coffee drinkers are seriously missing out on the best 'warm hug in a mug'

Will someone post the link to the regional dialect quiz. Must have missed it. My current insomnia thanks you.

Got an actual credit card question here.
Is there a lower limit for Chase cards? I want to sm to lower my limits, because wow! I’m sure Chase let me know they were raising them, but all I really pay attention to on my statements are my charges and what I need to pay. Right now my aggregate limit is WAY above 50% of my income. I think I read somewhere that the minimum credit line for a Reserve is $10000. Does anyone know any other minimum floors? Have old Slate, Freedom, IHG, Marriott premier plus (I think), and Reserve.

Second question. I product changed my preferred to a Freedom last year, after the preferred hit a year. Will Chase not count it in my 5/24 count based on my original opening date, or when I product changed last year?

No card truly has a floor - it really depends on who you talk to (and you can HUCA). You should be able to reduce to $500 or $1,000 depending on who you speak to. Some will try to say you have to have more though, but I can tell you that ANY card can be taken down that low from experience.

For those looking for a CitiBiz AA Match...maybe the late night chat is the way to go:

Update on my Citi AA Biz Match for my wife...(some of you may want to look away to avoid angry thoughts...)
  • I chatted with them on Wednesday evening March 6th
  • Was told they'd match
  • A letter was apparently drafted on 3/11
  • Today 3/18 the letter comes (dated 3/11) saying they added 20,000 AA Miles to my account
  • My (her) statement closes later this week so hopefully I'll confirm those miles are there then :)
For those that wanted to see the chat again here it is:

Sometimes I wished I liked coffee, but then I see the price of Starbucks :scared1: (and the calorie count!) and I realize I'm good with Coke Zero.. If I need something warm there's always apple cider..
I don't buy Star$$ unless I am at Disney and I use sugar free creamer so not a ton of calories in mine. However, some of those drinks from Star$$ are the same or more calories as a Big Mac!

The minimum CL chase will give you on a CSR is 10k...but you can lower the CL once you have it...you can also lower the other cards..there is no minimum that I know of

The 5/24 count is based on the original date you opened the Preferred card

I’ve been drinking hot chocolate almost every night. It’s so sugary because I put so many marshmallows in it
Hot chocolate is too sugary for me and gives me a tummy ache. Good stuff but just way too sweet for me.
