NY we have both expressways and parkways they are completely different things people just call them by their names when referencing them not their number. I can’t even tell you their numbers. lol seems like every highway has a name. We probably have four dozen major freeways. One is even named after Jackie robinson, but it’s the worst parkway ever lol.
It's a form of self preservation here to use names versus numbers. I'm sure there's a reason for it that I never looked into but PA has a tendency to use the same end for similarly grouped highways - we have 76, 276, 476, and 676 out here in Philly. And except for maybe 676, where it does connect but I think it's by entrance/exit ramps only, they all flow into each other at some point and just change numbers at some magic invisible dividing line. So it's conceivable to use at least 3 out of the 4 to get from point A to a point B and it can get confusing. Especially traffic reports during rush hour, just easier to use the names (even nicknames).
Harrisburg area has 22, 322, and 422 (could be more but that's the majors I remember). I think Pittsburgh has some similarly but I actually forget all the road names out there, I just know where I'm driving to and what bridge or tunnel I'll be stopped at along the way.
I have the $5 credit for Hulu on my Amex. Was hoping to use it one more time before it expires. Can I pay my Hulu bill ahead? I can’t see how when I log in.
Unfortunately, no. And there doesn't seem to be a way to buy a GC or other credit directly from them either. It sucks.
I missed a few days, so I'm likely about 100 pages behind, LOL.
Looking at the Marriott Bonvoy Business card. Is it worth it to even get into the Marriott points game? I know the Bonvoy Business has a higher fee after 3/28 so if I'm going to get it I'd do so now. I'm at like 1/24 under the Chase rules; not counting I opened a CIC in Nov 2018 and a CIP in Feb 2019. Also have the CSR, CF, CFU, Disney, Amazon and two credit union cards.
But, reading about Marriott points and it doesn't sound like they are that valuable and that it may be better to just skip it and buy hotels via the Chase portal.
While the Bonvoy points themselves aren't as versatile as they used to be, I'd probably still rather burn Marriott points than UR if I could. I'd really consider when and what you'd be using them for. If meeting that MSR doesn't derail your other plans, then with the AF waived it's not a bad way to pick up potentially a week's worth of points, even if you don't hang on to it long term. That's less UR that needs to be burned.
