Just called.
So the "Ultimate" tours like the Ultimate Day of Thrills will NOT include access to SWGE
The Private VIP Tours they still don't know 100%, they are assuming they will have access but won't know until August. He recommends booking it and you can cancel up to 48 hours before so no real harm in booking if you are interested.

This matches what I was told as well. I have a VIP tour booked for opening day. Do you think there is a chance they would alot other special activities for opening day that would be for the media and bloggers that could exclude VIP tours all together? Wondering if I should book one for the 30th as a back up plan??

How much do people normally tip on VIP tours? I realize it's a full day for the cast member, and would want to tip appropriately, but 20% on a $3500+ tour is pretty significant. Or is that just the expected price to pay for playing in the big leagues?

Hi!

We booked a VIP Tour on Saturday, Sept 21st for Galaxy's Edge. However, when I called they weren't sure how it was going to work since they have no information about the fast pass system for the land yet.
It is $525/hour for a minimum of 7 hours and a maximum of 10 people. There was no deposit required and they charge your card 24 hours before the tour. With three people in our party (all adults), we were wondering if anyone was interested in joining the Tour to lower the cost. It seems a lot of people are doing this, since several dates are sold out in September already. If so, please let me know!

Thanks. Mine is during D23 Expo at the end of August. Anyway, you don't pay anything until 24 hours before the actual tour and can cancel up to 48 hours before without penalty.

Booked a VIP tour today (Disneyland) for October 7th! CM "confirmed" (as much as I trust them..) after the reservation period ends in June that VIP tours will have limited access to GE. We'll see how it all pans out in the next few months!

No pricing yet, was told they only have pricing released into September and it'll be a couple of months before we hear more.

I asked about paying with gift cards if you're a slightly crazy person like myself that does the whole discounted gift card shopping thing. It's possible, you just have to pay the day of because they have to physically swipe the cards at the guest relations near DCA. (I asked about paying the day before or earlier as we'll be in town, she said she'll get back to me on that)

Not sure if that's hiked from the base of $425 because of timing (a few days after the reservation period ends) or if they'll remain hiked throughout the rest of the year. Another post says they've been at $600/hr for the past year so maybe they're just going to go up..

I think $600 was the previously stated max. As usual, I guess they have been charging the max most of the time. I have assumed that $600 would be the min for mine in late August. I like to expect the worst and hope for the best. That way I am only nicely surprised. I still haven't heard a price for mine, but they may not have figured that out yet.

Yes, it's always been $425-$600 an hour depending on the season.
