It's a perfect characterpalooza morning at Hollywood Studios!!

I woke up refreshed and ready for a super fun day. The morning was beautifully sunny but surprisingly chilly (I know, I know, I shouldn't complain BUT I did need a sweater). I decided to try out the resort transportation to the parks this morning and was on a bus headed to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios after about a 10 minute wait. I was happily surprised to see the offsite bus drop off was actually closer than by bus stop was for the Poly last summer! After making the long trek to the front gates, I was soon through the tapstiles and having my first photo done.

It was around 11:00 when I arrived in the park and my first fast pass was not until 12:15. I noticed that Minnie and Mickey in Red Carpet Dreams only had a 20 minute wait so I headed over there. I decided to pop into to see how Mike and Sulley's line was looking on the way but they were at 55 minutes already!! I kept going towards Red Carpet Dreams but got turned around and ended up by the muppets and by the the time I finally got there the line was up to 40 minutes! I was already in line when I saw the wait time change and I thought I might as well just stay and meet them.


The meets were so much fun and even if I did miss my FP for the Frozen Sing a Long, it was totally worth it. I noticed that Donald and Daisy were going to be doing a meet and greet at Sid's Porch in about 15 minutes so I headed over there and was the second person in line. How cute are they??

It was about 1:20 now and I was getting hungry. My breakfast bar and banana was just not cutting it anymore. So I headed to Woody's lunchbox to try the grilled cheese with tater tots! Lots of gooey, cheesy goodness and it hit the spot perfectly! It was awesome.

Next up was my fastpass for TSMM! Unlike every other time I have been on this ride, I actually didn't totally embarrass myself and got a decent (for me) score. I had plans for ToT next but saw that it had gone down. I took this opportunity to fit in the Frozen sing a long. Before heading into the theatre, I treated myself to a Mickey Bar. Unfortunately the CM was having a hard time processing my gift card and told me my treat was on Mickey. A nice little bit of pixie dust!

I headed into the show after enjoying my ice cream and was so happy to see that @equityben was performing as Eric today. It was the best show and I laughed until I had tears rolling down my cheeks. So perfect!! After the show was over, I checked the app to see if ToT was back up. Luckily it was, so I decided to head over. But first, I had a date with my two favourite chipmunks. They were in fine form and I teased them about their bad behaviour, asking who had been in trouble lately. They were hilarious and perfectly in character.

I knew ending my day at Hollywood Studios with my favourite ride would be the best thing so I headed over and was soon exploring the abandoned hotel and taking a ride on the service elevator.

I could not have asked for a better day! Next up is a night of beauty exploring Flower and Garden festival at Epcot!!​

She did not BUT she videoed HEA as it was on and then WATCHED her video instead of the show, during my favourite part!!!!! I showed great restraint and did not strangle her and throw her body into the hub.

Joining in on the fun. I am really enjoying your TR so far and it makes me miss my only Solo trip back in 2012. It was a short trip but it was perfect in just about every way. After seeing you drink choice at Skipper Canteen I know what drink I shall have when I go back in August. Can't to wait to read more. It really makes the time waiting for our trip go quicker.

Definitely check out Woody's, Liesa! I need to try those totchos next that I saw in @chunkymonkey 's report. I had a great day at HS....the shows and characters made it so fun! Getting back to HEA, the lady videoing pretended she did not understand English when I asked her to stop watching even though I heard her say something in English just a few minutes before.

I love your trip report. I've never gone solo but love reading about it.
I' m kind of apprehensive about going solo, but hope to one day give it a try (if I get brave enough) LOL!

Looks good! I had wanted to try this but never did get around there for lunch/supper.
I like the different options at this place, not just nuggets and burgers.

Fantastic characters meets. I had wanted to do the Red Carpet Dreams meet but I think it was always a long wait. I like Mickey's sorcerer outfit. The only time I ever got a picture with him in that outfit was at the old Animation Academy.
