How long does it normally take for Plastiq to charge your cc? I scheduled our mortgage payment for 4/24 since we don't normally get our statement until the 21st or so, when I scheduled the payment Plastiq said my card would be charged immediately. So far I haven't seen it as pending though, and my Citi AA biz statement closes 4/22. Do I need to change the payment date or does it just take a few days? This will finish off my MSR so like to have it hit this statement. Thanks!

Can I just say

I was able to call and have my certificate extended to April 30, 2020 and had the LOVELY agent also book the extra night. She also connected the 2 reservations so we won't have to switch rooms! So, value of $2,884.00 for one Aspire certificate. I've said before, but it warrants saying again, this card is a KEEPER.

Congratulations!!!! I am so glad to hear that worked! I almost want to go back to the Maldives to try out the resort. I am working on it but won't go back unless we are stopping at the Al Maha again first.

And can I say I'm absolutely floored by how much value you and @calypso726 have gotten out of the Aspire? I have some aspirational Hilton properties in mind, but no firm plans to make a vacation out of it, and I keep telling myself that I'd better jump on it soon because Amex is going to nerf this card sooner or later, because the value you can get out of it is INSANE.

This is exactly why I am working on getting a second Aspire. Hopefully, well before it gets nerfed.

I have discovered that one of my habits is dreaming of far away places. Thanks to travel hacking and with the help (enablement lol?) of this group one of my dd's dream destinations is coming to fruition.

Anyways, a rambling way of saying, I am happy to offer my services letting you know about some amazing Hilton properties. For starters, Conrad Bora Bora, Conrad Maldives, Waldorf Astoria Maldives, Conrad London, there is a new Conrad in NYC (formerly the London NYC -- just finishing up a complete renovation), the Conrad Bali (which is a great value). Shall I go on? Such great value on this card! I have 3 upcoming stays at Hilton properties and will continue to seek them out when I travel because you can't beat 12X dollar on stays and free breakfast.

I really got along with the Hilton agent and we were having a great time chatting on the phone. She was kind enough to enroll me in a promotion for 2,000 points for each stay before May 5th. So my paltry $250.00 1 night stay at the Conrad Washington in 2 weeks will net me 5,000 points ($250.00 x 12) + 2,000 point bonus. That's outstanding for 1 night.

We can’t wait to see the new show and ride the new coaster in June! We’ve seen the other 2 projection shows and they were pretty awesome too!

Why? Without spoiling it for those that may still watch it. While it didn't tie it up with a bow, that's how they'd wanted to end the series so I prefer that they did it at the age she's at now rather than when she graduated college. There's some ridic theories but I think the who is obvious as it's the only timeline that makes sense.

Curious because while it wasn't totally satisfying, I also felt like they didn't need to do more. But I also didn't watch it all within the span of a month. There's some disconnect because they ignored season 7 so her job stuff to me just doesn't make sense and isn't satisfying that she'd go from being so persistent about finding a job/internship in season 6 since we again have to ignore 7 and then be how she is now, but at the same time being older I can understand it a bit.

I still need to watch Fall. I wasnt excited with how Summer ended Will have to knock it out Monday while DH is out of town

So, I am trying to plan a few trips on points.

1. Cruise to Alaska next Summer for DH and I 25th Anniversary. This will be a surprise as he has wanted to go to Alaska. Looks like Princess or Holland America are the 2 main cruiselines. I think I may cash those out for Carnival Corp Gift Cards as those would work for both Princess and Holland America.

The ones on the MR site are good for Carnival Corp, which includes the HAL and Princess brands. I looked into it as we like to sail Princess and never see GCs for them. I can't remember if the ones at Target are the same or they are the Carnival brand only. It might have been Swagbucks that got the umbrella ones instead and I just wanted it to be Target. But there are ones out there that are supposed to work at all the brands.

EDIT: Found it! It's in the T&Cs for the AmEx rewards card agreement "THIS CARD MAY BE USED ONLY FOR GOODS AND SERVICES AT 1) PARTICIPATING ESTABLISHMENTS WHICH ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS® CARDS AND OPERATE UNDER THESE CARNIVAL CORPORATION BRANDS: CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE, PRINCESS CRUISES, HOLLAND AMERICA LINE, SEABOURN OR CUNARD, OR 2) THE CORPORATE CARNIVAL CAFÉ (“MERCHANT”). My original plan was to just see what tickets were available day of a the TKTS booth (which would have been somewhat cheaper than buying face value tickets...) but I saw that this show was about to open, and decided to go for it. My DH prefers plays to musicals, and we've been watching the Americans for the last year or so (slowly - only when neither kid is watching with us), so I think he would like it more than going to see one of the many movie remake musicals on broadway (which is what I'm guessing we'd find cheap tickets for). I think he kind of has a crush on Keri Russel, so there's that too.

I'd recommend logging in to check if your flights are still there AND checking to see if your flight still shows up for sale. That's just my opinion though as I'm not entirely sure how you'd figure out if you have an issue until they "proactively" notify you.

Hopefully this ends the constant and unfortunate drama of "will my flight be affected roulette"

Fortunately my flights to/from Orlando for early May still look like they're okay. My flight to Charleston in June looks fine, but the return is saying "sold out". That flight has a connection, and all of the other flights that have the first leg of that flight are also showing "sold out". There is really only one other return flight that would work for us - do you think if I call them they would switch us without paying the fare difference? Or do I have to wait until I'm notified?
