Try looking for Friday thru Monday. If that’s available in your category (and refundable) book it. Then call and say you need to cancel whichever days you don’t need. I had this problem with Hyatt. Needed Saturday thru Monday. Could only get Friday thru Monday, no other combo available for points. Booked it, called and told them plans changed and I didn’t need Friday. They were able to do it no problem (I had called previously when trying to book and the rep couldn’t get Saturday night either).
:worship: Thank you! I'm going to give this a try..... I'm glad I have a bunch of points to play around with here....

I do remember the chatter and I watched an episode or two but just didn't get into it. Sorry, I know you all love it but I just didn't.

Does this get me shunned?? Maybe?? If so, @amalone1013 and @tink1970, save me some diet DP and oreos!!!
I wanted to love it but the crude language nonstop got to me.... I wish it had been less crude b/c the characters themselves are so interesting! (I love her dad)

No, it's totally ok. When you guys were chatting about Gilmore Girls a few weeks back, I just remembered that I absolutely couldn't get into it. My wife basically loves anything from Amy Sherman-Palladino, so Gilmore Girls, Bunheads, and obviously The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. I love my wife, but I couldn't bring myself to love Gilmore Girls or Bunheads. :confused3
again...this too.... all my friend were really into GG and the new ones too.... I tried, but nothing. I found it so boring....(at least it didn't have the objectionable language tho)

Do you like OKW? I really hemmed and hawed whether I should do a 1 bedroom there for my may trip. It was about the same cost as my BCV studio and a bit less than my Poly room. I couldn't get past the internal bus loop, after remembering how annoying that was at POR in March. If you've stayed at Poly and OKW, which would you choose...the space or the location?
location 100% - the space at OKW is great, but location on boardwalk or near MK is amazing

These citi as biz offers with the statement credit- could I use that to book an actual flight?

Thinking about Disney APs this year and looking at a fall weekend trip. Southwest flights home are at bad times and crazy expensive.

But I can get a decently priced nonstop aa flight at a good time. I could book through the ur portal, but if I could use the statement credit I could save some ur points.

If I'm deciphering the typos correctly, yes, you can use the statement credit to book an actual flight. With ours, the statement credit posted on the same statement as the flight charge.
Or you can try to use your AA points. From my browsing, the best flights are not very easy to use points for.

There have been reports of some Metabank MCGCs processing essentially as debit, thus the 1% fee on Plastiq.

Just as a DP . . . I tried my Vanilla Mastercard gc (from Sam's Club). The fee was 2.5% as usual.

Lol I just reread this. I had a toddler climbing all over me while trying to type and she kept touching my phone screen. Sorry it’s so unintelligible! I think I’ll go edit it.

Went to the outlet mall - Disney store today. Got a new T-shirt for $2. They had some crazy deals today. The store was bedlam - strollers everywhere. It was just like being at Magic Kingdom, lol!

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for my check from Ticketmaster for the proceeds of my ticket sale. :rolleyes2
We got some good deals a few weeks ago but nothing quite that good. DS had $50 saved and managed to get 8 items including 2 stuffies and a T-shirt. I’ve taught him well. Lol

ETA I see now you were at home. I assumed you were at Disney Warehouse in Orlando. We don’t have a Disney outlet particularly close to home, so we hit up the outlet during our recent trip

Hmm. Think I can convince DH to stop at the outlet on the way to Uni the one night on our trip? :scratchin
They are both crazy busy but fun to see what goodies they currently have. I actually prefer the one closer to Uni. The one closer to WDW is busier and seems a tad more picked over.

I am planning a trip to Florida in November. It is split between Disney and Marco Island and I need some advice. What are your thoughts and can you think of anything that I’m not? Roundtrip flights with SW RR points already acquired.

1) 11/2-11/6 at Beach Club. Paying with AA points on aavacations. I don’t have quite enough but want to book now so I don’t lose BC. It would be all of my points (253,500) and $292.60 cash. What would you use to pay? CSR or an AA card (or something else I’m not thinking of)?

2) Disney 4 day park hoppers. 2 adults and 2 kids on UndercoverTourist are $2073.06. Any cards with a travel credit I could sign up for to help knock this payment down?

3) Food at WDW. $xxx.xx Discounted Disney gift cards?

==============

4) 11/6-11/11 at JW Marriott Marco Island. Using UR points, completely paid for.

5) 11/6-11/11 Rental Car. Planning to use AA points from next batch of SUBs.

6) 11/6-11/11. Food will just be out of pocket on CSR.
