Hmm. Think I can convince DH to stop at the outlet on the way to Uni the one night on our trip? :scratchin

I am sure if you ask nicely he will. My poor DH hates it but puts up with it since it makes me so happy!

They are both crazy busy but fun to see what goodies they currently have. I actually prefer the one closer to Uni. The one closer to WDW is busier and seems a tad more picked over.

This last trip we actually went to both. I tried the one closer to Universal this time. My experience was the opposite of what I had heard about it. Absolutely no parking at all and the store itself was less crazy but it also had a lot less stuff. I think the Vineland one is also easier to get too since it is right off the freeway.

No super exciting finds this time but they did have the dress up shop dresses for girls. I got the Snow White pattern one for D12. Normally $78 down to $20. She was so cute about it. 12 is getting into that awkward age but she really liked it...it made her feel pretty. She is going to wear it to her 6th grade graduation. We also got an Edna Malloy plush for $5. Exact same one selling at HS for $25.

Early in day or late in day not weekends is best time to go to either one of them.

I am planning a trip to Florida in November. It is split between Disney and Marco Island and I need some advice. What are your thoughts and can you think of anything that I’m not? Roundtrip flights with SW RR points already acquired.

1) 11/2-11/6 at Beach Club. Paying with AA points on aavacations. I don’t have quite enough but want to book now so I don’t lose BC. It would be all of my points (253,500) and $292.60 cash. What would you use to pay? CSR or an AA card (or something else I’m not thinking of)?

2) Disney 4 day park hoppers. 2 adults and 2 kids on UndercoverTourist are $2073.06. Any cards with a travel credit I could sign up for to help knock this payment down?

3) Food at WDW. $xxx.xx Discounted Disney gift cards?

==============

4) 11/6-11/11 at JW Marriott Marco Island. Using UR points, completely paid for.

5) 11/6-11/11 Rental Car. Planning to use AA points from next batch of SUBs.

6) 11/6-11/11. Food will just be out of pocket on CSR.

Do you have the Arrival Plus? The sign up bonus might help with erasing charges for the tickets.

The Vineland store is much easier to get in and out of quickly!

I’ve done both stores, back to back, three times now and each time I come away with better ‘finds’ at the one closer to Uni but definitely depends on what you are after!

See that’s the answer! You just have to go to both. :)

I think my experience at the one close to Universal was affected by it was harder to get too and it was on a Sunday. I can see how the store itself would be potentially less crazy/picked over.

Quick question. What do I put in to the EIN soace on a CIP application? It won't let me submit without one. Am I missing something?

Thank you. Ok. Got the "we need to review your request a little longer." What does that mean?
Nothing really - you went pending which happens often. You can call the automated status line and that will give you an actual indication.

1-800-432-3117; then hit #, 3, 1

I really appreciate you walking me through this. I called and they said "you will be notified in writing within 30 days..." Is that good or bad?

Why do I never get the good chase offers? No staples, no Lowe’s.

But I can go to bare burger which I’ve never even heard of 5 times.
Same. I’ve never seen a Staples or Lowe’s or anything useful really. I just have things like Sharis Berries. Oh and I just logged in on the app again to check and the offers aren’t even showing

That is a good sign. I’d only be concerned if it said (or later changes to) 7-10 days.

It might sit pending for a week (hopefully less) and you can call that number as often as you’d like for updates. Hopefully it switches to “approved” for you soon.

With the Starbucks reward thing switching on Tuesday has anyone seen any more info on it? I'll have enough for two free items tomorrow once the bonus stars hit. Not planning on using one tomorrow which leaves me with Monday. I don't drink more than one hot chocolate a day and don't eat stuff there. I'm just curious if the free item I have will revert to stars or stay as is. It's 150 bonus so I guess either way it doesn't matter too much except that one would leave me with 25 stars left towards my next one and the other would use them all up. I thought by now there might have been more info, I didn't see anything in the app that would tell me.
Wait what is this? I have points I need to use too

Applied for CitiBiz for DH, got the Application being reviewed, need further info from you.
Call or no call? I’ve always had instant approval from Citi.
When my wife went pending it didn’t say “further info” so that’s a different message. I think the general consensus is that you’re safe to call with Citi. Probably just verification of some kind...if you aren’t in a hurry you could wait it out for a few days though. They have an online application status website you can check.
