Anyone looking to buy Disneyland tickets via 3rd party wanting MP might want to wait a bit. Get Away Today announces they’re going to sell tickets with MP starting next week. I suspect if they have access other outfits will as well. https://www.disboards.com/threads/maxpass-included-on-3rd-party-tickets.3745578/
Thanks, I do for next month. By the time I knew my trip was for sure the link I had to use URs was no longer working. I will be buying the promo ticket so wonder if it MP will be available for those tickets.

Dangnabit! I was hoping that link would work forever :( c’est la vie. Fwiw the promo tickets are pricing out MP at $10/day if booked direct through Disney (I think).

Lol you sound a lot like me. I would much rather stay home and read or watch Netflix. I just don't have a lot of fun going out with other people. If we're going to move then sure haha. Honestly, Dh and I don't mind being at home together or doing things just us. I think for some people it just works. We rarely get sick of each other so it's not usually a problem. My parents are a completely different story. They do almost nothing together.

I can’t imagine ever getting sick of my SO lol even when he is at work I find myself texting him I miss you is it 5 yet lol. Besides work we do probably 98% of things together lol
So I'm thinking we are all couples around the same age here and sound super similar lol

DH and I just like to do things together :) We joke that we're codependent though because we dont tend to sleep well when apart. I'm a bit more self sufficient than DH though. I'm okay with some alone time to read or whatever. He didnt have all that much fun at DLR solo last year when out there for work, where as I am secretly hoping he'll have a work trip so I can tag along and do some solo hours :D

You're right, we do all sound similar!

My Dh complains a lot when I don't come to bed at the same time as him because he said he can't sleep as well when I'm not in bed. I'm a night owl and that's when I read and watch Netflix. I'm hoping I do find someone my age that likes to play sports, though. Dh does, but not as much as me. I could go out and play softball every single day and I usually have to force him to go. I'm not sure I would enjoy a Disney trip on my own. I can't say for sure unless I actually tried it. I know for a fact Dh wouldn't go on his own.

Reading about how you all are is making me realize why I'm still single. Must find a guy that is ok doing things on his own and doesn't need me to do stuff. I enjoy spending time with people but I also have no problem doing stuff by myself. This is all a result of being an only child and having to play on my own some of the time along with other reasons I'm sure.

In a totally unrelated topic, are anyone else's hummingbirds pigs? We know there's at least 3 because it's the most we've seen together at once, but we're having to fill the feeder every day or two and the neighbors have like 3-5 feeders. Either they are eating from both or our's is closer to the nest and they've stopped going over there but it's nuts. Thankfully we bought a bunch of sugar when it was on sale for 99 cents a few months ago just for making their food.

Hmmmm. Online or in store? I don’t see it
It's Dosh, maybe are you looking at RMN? I haven't used Dosh in a long time, but it looks like it is in store, although when I looked my local store didn't come up. Maybe the ones in your area aren't participating either. This was one I actually could have used, but I'm not driving 30 miles for 3%. I got excited for a minute because I've been stuck on $19.22 for six months, and $15 of those were a referral and signing up! I don't think I'm ever going to get to $25 to be able to cash out!

Omg I do not sleep well when I’m not with him. He loves having the whole bed when I’m gone lol. When he had a work trip and was gone for a week I slept with the bathroom light on locked the doors and slept with Clorox spray bleach by the bed incase anyone broke in lol. That was the first time I ever slept alone in a house/apartment and I never want to do that again.

I absolutely hate when Dh has to go away for work. I usually end up getting no sleep because I always think someone's going to get in my house. I usually stay up super late until I can't any longer and then pass out. I sit with the bedroom light on reading or I sit on my phone watching stuff. I do like having the whole bed to myself, but I barricade myself with pillows lol

I am very experienced with solo trips. Just this year I tacked 3 days onto a work trip and did some stuff in South Carolina by myself. I have another trip for work in Toronto in Oct. I'll probably add on 3 days and sightsee. In the past, I've done Sedona, Grand Canyon, DL x 2, US Hollywood, US Orlando x 2, NY, Boston, DC, Vancouver solo. Probably more but can't remember off the top of my head. I have no problem doing things by myself, eating alone in a restaurant. And I love single rider lines! I am not an only child but introverted by nature. Most of my trips were work trips that I extended to explore the area.
Solo trips are good as you get to do what you want when you want. I like a mixture of trips with family and by myself!

Okay so now that I'm getting into moving mode.....It looks like Publix is the big grocery store where we're moving. I have very little experience with them. Do they have a fuel saver program? The one we use now with our local store is great.
No fuel stuff but they have really great BOGOF deals. I can walk to ours from my house so I'm there a lot. Waaayyy better than Kroger.

I've been looking online and can't find the AMEX deal that gives extra points for Apple Pay that was discussed earlier this week. Can someone please tell me where I can find it? Or is this something I just wasn't targeted for?

DW and I weren’t targeted for this offer on any of our 13 Amex cards. It may show up later, or it may not. We actually use Apple Pay with our Amex cards so I wonder if we’re not the target demo to encourage its use.

I used to do this when dh would have to travel. I could not sleep at all when he was gone and since my house was broken into when I was a teen, I'm even more of a scaredy cat :scared1: I'm better now when he is gone. I'm not sure if it's due to age, not being quite so hyper about stuff or what but he was recently in Ohio for 3 nights and I slept pretty good. With his new maybe job, he'd be traveling more so I'm going to have to deal with it even more. Main part of the job I would not like!

I was in Publix a few times recently and then last year as well. Since last year I thought we might be moving, I was comparing prices. They were definitely higher than our Kroger chain, King Soopers, but our stores are cheaper here than groceries in TX too.

I'm very happily married but would likely wind up in prison if I had to spend all of my free time with someone. A prison sentence would force me to spend all of my time with someone so it's a lose/lose. I'm an introvert by nature and require being alone after spending all day, everyday around people. At the end of the day, I'm utterly drained and need to just be inside my own head and not talking or doing anything in order to recuperate. We both have insane work schedules so that need is easily met LOL Don't get me wrong, I enjoy spending time with my friends and with DH when we aren't working but am totally good with being by myself. He has interests different from mine and I am happy to not be dragged along to some sports thing. Back when I was showing dogs, I didn't drag him to dog shows which made him happy. We have both gone to Disney on our own when work conflicts with a weekend getaway, so no issues there. There are guys that are fine doing their own thing without needing you there and happy to share the things you both enjoy together.

Got the letter for my dh's Citi AA personal card denial. Reason is:

"You have submitted multiple applications for credit."

He had just gotten his first citi AA personal card about a month before so I thought I'd try. Any DP's on recon'ing this? I don't want to ask him to call unless there is a good chance. He had to call Chase and AA today. It was a big day for him lol. And I need him to call Marriott soon about our 7-night cert and I think that is going to be a painful phone call.

Ah ok that might be it. I'll keep checking all of our AMEX cards just in case it shows up. I think we only have 8 to choose from and that's including the old AU cards.

I hate when my DH travels and I'm home alone. He chose a job that requires very minimal travel, which I like even though it meant a lower salary at the time. The real downside is no points LOL.
