But SWGE isn't effecting July hours or early hours in August. So why would those change with this announcement?

I love Disney a ton and applaud them trying to accommodate guests but 6am!? I always rope drop but arriving at 5:30 for a park seems nutty. We arrive on the 9th and I kinda sorta hope they move it to 7 by then. Because I, like all of you, will absolutely not be able to sleep if my parks are open!

No kidding! Our favorite time to tour in the summer is after dark, but as of now most of the parks close at dark for our 10 day trip .

I get why this is a good thing, but my family members are not early risers so it’s gonna have to be a decision to get up early and enjoy this or sleep in and meet the crowds. Back to the planning drawing board for me.

I am with you and am waiting for July. I just think they wanted to get this announcement going with how quickly the Disneyland reservations sold out. I think it's a great thing for them to be this prepared honestly.

If I had the chance I would go to HS at LEAST twice for these EMH. I don't like getting up that early, either, but the idea of being in and out by 9am and having the whole day ahead is nice. TSL could be a ghost town and that is awesome.

I’m not confident we’d be in and out by 9am unless you are at the gate before 4am (for those who drive or can walk from EP resorts)

Yeah. This where I’m at and what we’ll have to discuss. I wake up between 6 and 7 every day anyway. It won’t be that hard for me. For the others that sleep in until 10 on weekends I’m gonna have to talk them into how worth this it’ll be.

Well .. I just meant they released new park hours for September- November but the previous months aren’t done yet.

FP is usually not offered during extra magic hours

6 am opening at DHS - you'll be able to experience Toy Story Land in the dark that early!

My first thought was how will these affect the Half Marathon on November 2nd and my second thought was after being up early for the 10k Saturday morning and then closing out a park that night could we be out of ASMovies and get to Studios to take advantage on the 2nd
