I see Walgreens is listed at 20% cash back. Do you have any idea if that works in store on gift cards? I’ve never used their cash back offers. Thanks!
I actually made a Walgreens purchase today. I believe it was 15% online with the promo. Doesn't look like Ebates offers it in store for Walgreens.

I don't know about quality inns...but for hiltons I book myself under DH's account by putting myself down as the other adult. That allows me to check in without him. Though really, going to a desk to check in isn't a thing anymore.

How do we get to that point? While not prolific Hilton stayers, when we do get a hotel with digital key it's never active and says we need to stop at the front desk. We've yet to avoid the front desk at either Hilton or Marriott. I can't figure what we do wrong.

We have lucked out and not had a problem with me checking in under his reservation even without my name added in advance. May backfire one day but so far so good.

SOUTHWEST 60k OFFERS ON PERSONAL CARDS:

PLUS: https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/southwest/AEP60kPlus?CELL=6PNF

PRIORITY: https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/southwest/AEP60kPriority?CELL=6W8G

PREMIER: https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/southwest/AEP60kPremier?CELL=6PND

Offer expires 6/10/19. No update to support links (yet??)

Just a 2k MSR here...reminder of the “1 SW PERSONAL” rule and that if you earned a bonus on ANY Southwest personal card in the past 24 months you are ineligible.
I don't think we specifically called this out but ANYBODY who applied for these cards in the past 3 months on the 50k offer (or even 40k offer) should absolutely request a match to this offer! Even if you applied a little longer ago, try anyways. Worst thing is you are told no. 10,000 points is worth an SM!

Generally, if you are within 90 days of applying Chase is pretty good about matching :)

i doubt they will match the 40k with CP. the 50k most likely.

They might require you to spend the additional amount. I know they've matched it in the past. Chase (unlike Citi) will actually ask for the spend though, lol!

We are the oddballs I guess. We've used TP's every single trip, including DLR, for 7 or 8 years and had fantastic results. We have even had friends subscribe in the last couple years (as recently as Dec 2018), use the TP and say it was 'eerily accurate'. We've always found the same to be true for our trips. The DIS has no love for TP's and lots of Josh. I think Josh had a lot of valid points but he was very rude to me which completely turned me off. I have seen him be rude to others. There is never a need for that. My dh & I have both contacted Len (from TP) and he was super nice and receptive. I do not think TP's is a scam :confused3

While I haven't seen Josh be rude I can definitely see it. He's got a sense of humor and comes across like he's got a somewhat dry personality which I can appreciate. He's also from my area which I found out last year when he was tweeting about the Mariners. We're known for the Seattle freeze here and not being welcoming which while I don't think is totally true I can totally see it. We're nice here, will give directions when asked, smile at people, hold doors etc but we're less apt to have a long conversation with random people like in the south. Now I will do that some simply because I learned to adapt living in NC but to be honest when people ask me how my day is etc when I'm checking out I don't want that convo, you don't care and only ask because you have to. And when working temp jobs it's not at all uncommon to not get to know people to the point they won't make eye contact when passing in the hall. It still went on after I was perm and had been there over 2 years.

However, with doing what he does it's one thing to be snarky on twitter and be rude and he definitely doesn't give off any kind of magical vibe like you expect from someone that makes their living covering Disney. But it helps give every Disney fan their own niche :)

So I guess my little personal TP tirade won't get any likes from you... :P LOL! There is definitely love for TP on the DIS too - most of the threads here about crowd calendars and crowd levels turn into a showdown of TP vs. EasyWDW lovers :chat: until they get shutdown, lol! I actually enjoy most of TP's content. I just find their crowd calendars absolutely terrible in recent years and their excuses for why things are so wrong to be a bit patronizing. I'd rather they just say, we were stupid and were using 2011 data and forgot to adjust for when Easter was in the calendar...LOL! There have been numerous days this year where you'd have just been better off looking at what happened last year vs. trusting the almightly TP algorithm.

EDIT: I should also say, that if you like them and they work for you - I don't have an issue with that :) I just won't be giving them my money or recommending them to my friends. (Although I also feel the days of crowd calendars are in the past anyways...)

I see most threads about this bashing TP's and loving on Josh. I've never seen much love for TP's but maybe it's here. I only know our experience. My dh would absolutely say the same. Our experience with TP's was a a bit rocky the couple of years from when FP+ was intro'ed but then stabilized again. We used to read Josh's crowd calendars too and try to find a balance but then he quit and just spent his time bashing other's efforts. Not saying TP's is perfect but I keep a subscription and am happy with it.

ETA::P ANd yep, no love, no likes...nope!

Yeah, I'm from the south where people are nice. I like that :) I feel like I have thick skin but maybe I am not as thick as I thought I was. I found Josh more than snarky. I was actually shocked by how he responded to me. A few years back but definitely something I never forgot. So seeing all the love he gets on every easywdw vs TP thread, I'm thinking, 'are people just trying to kiss up to him cause it's like he is DIS celeb or is he actually nice to everyone else??' But I've seen his attitude to others as well.

Could be! But my neighbors found them accurate for their Christmas/NY 2018 trip. We will use them again in Aug and see how they are still working for us.

@SouthFayetteFan thanks for the explanation. Its something we haven't given any thought yet.

Of course I used a Dischurners link. I can't stand Dr. Pepper, so I would not fare well in the shunned corner.:)
That's okay, I can't either and I'm the Princess of Shunville. As long as your drink comes from a vending machine that codes as dining, you're good :rotfl:

Alright, we'll see if 3:45am MST is still late night chat... cause I keep forgetting to ask for a match at night at home.

Ugh... I waited, and DHs statement closed on his Arrival Plus... and I STILL cannot redeem more than $125 in miles towards his $250 hotel bill. :badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc:

When I applied for the SW Biz, Chase pulled TU and EX but when I applied for SW Plus they only pulled TU. I was approved for the Plus on 4/4 (50k inflight offer) and met the MSR last week so I messaged them for a match this morning. Just heard back, said I met the requirements and they will post the extra 10k on the next statement so definitely try again after his MSR is met, looks like it's pretty easy to get the match for this one.

Congrats on the match! We actually met the MSR yesterday so now just waiting on the charges to change over from pending, then I'll send another SM. Such a nice unexpected event to (hopefully) get an extra 10k RR points!

Approved for CIP #2 overnight! I applied yesterday morning and had been calling the status line and was surprised to hear the magic words you are approved when I just checked! Surprised because it went straight from the 30 day message to approved, was expecting the two week message first. Great way to start off a Monday!

Congrats party:
