At the airport now heading home. We booked water view at Beach Club non club level. We were given the Newport Presidential suite on the club level. It was a amazing. We rearranged a few plans to take advantage of the breakfast and apps. This was our first time staying at beach club. I really enjoyed it but Yacht Club is still my favorite.

This is the dining area and living room and the view from that area. There was a master bedroom with a king bed. The master bath had a jetted tub, walk in shower and separate area room with toilet and bidet. There was also a walk in closet with fleece lined robes and slippers. The second bedroom was 2 queens. It also had closets with robes but they were the standard club level robes. There was a sitting room off of the 2nd bedroom with a couch and a tv. This bedroom also had its own bathroom with a shower/tub combo and double sinks. The balcony off of the main area was standing only but went across the whole front. Each bedroom had a full extra long balcony with 2 tables and 4 chairs each. I will post more pics when I get a chance.

[GALLERY=][/GALLERY]master bedroom and bath. There were full sized Lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the master and travel size of everything else. The 2nd bath had all travel size toiletries. There was also a half bath off the main room that had travel size.

Do you get AP discount with cabana rental? Also, where do I view my cabana reservation on MDE?

The AP Discount is 15%. My cabana reservation shows up on MDE. The agent who made my reservation was very surprised when it showed up automatically.

There was oatmeal each day. Today they also had crepes. Yesterday there was grits. We had a great time.

Cabana update, 5/10/19, YC. What a great day! Weather cooperated. We were scheduled for the 3-7pm session but went down around 2 because the weather forecast was iffy. Since it hasn’t been rented in the am, it was all ready for us. No problem going early as the cabana attendant also thought the weather might end our 4 hour stint early but thankfully the weather cooperated. Very cool experience, highly recommend. Yes, it’s expensive, $180 with the AP discount. Fruit plate awesome & plenty of stuff to drink. First pix file too big!

Saw a wedding carriage ready to take bride & groom from the wedding pavilion but their arrival was taking forever so I only got a pix of horse & carriage.

We reserved a full day cabana this past Tuesday (5/7/19). I booked it several weeks ago. It was an amazing way to spend a leisurely day at the pool. We were in cabana 4, which is in the back corner. We really liked being away from the hustle and bustle. There was a fully stocked fridge with waters and soda and a fruit tray. There is a tv, power source, extra towels, and plenty of seating options. Because we booked a full day, we also got a dessert tray which we had not expected. My son and husband both loved it (as did I) and I’m not sure how we will go back to “regular” pool days. For us, it was definitely worth the money.

We spent the afternoon at the pool waiting for our late flight out on 5/7. Had I thought about it, I would’ve rented a cabana for that last day. Weather was gorgeous, but hot! I love the cabana you chose- out of the way a bit and much more relaxing. We’re definitely getting one on our next trip.

We are booked in a Standard View Yacht Club CL room for May 19-24 for my birthday. Got a call from Guest Services on Friday to give them a call about my reservation and did not have a chance to call back until this morning. The CM told me they are having some "room inventory issues" at YC and they are moving us to the Grand Floridian CL for our stay?! I could not believe it. The Epcot resort area is my favorite so I am a little bummed to lose the location but I am pretty stinking excited to get a chance to stay at the Grand!

So after thinking about it for a day or two, I called Guest Services back to see if there was any way we could stay at the YC. With having Moonlight Magic at Epcot one night and a lot of plans to spend our evenings at Epcot, we really wanted the convenience of being able to walk from the resort. Guest Services was able to move us back over the YC (I have no idea how - maybe they had been able to get enough people to move already?) so we are back at the Yacht Club for 5 nights starting next Sunday.

Where is this note section on the MDE? I got paranoid and called Disney after receiving zero written confirmation. They said they don't send email confirmation either.
Also, nothing was charged on my credit card. I guess they don't charge until the rental day?
