AAA Plus gives you 100 miles of towing. CSR and AMEX Platinum don't give you that.
i did tow my car once with the amex plat biz, it gave me 10 miles. AAA regular membership only gave me 7 miles.

I was hoping working for the largest food and beverage company in the world would do it, but apparently not lol. Not sure I know anyone else... hmm...ask your friends whom u know that work for large corporations... maybe bribe them with some starbucks?
This might be the reason I renew my AAA membership...AAA Plus gives you 100 miles of towing. CSR and AMEX Platinum don't give you that.

I have 4 flights for our Hawaii trip. Austin to Oakland where we decided to stop for 2 nights. Then Oakland to Honolulu. Coming home we have Honolulu to Phoenix, then the next day Phoenix to Austin. I think I could have continued on to HNL from Oak, but we decided to spend a day exploring the area. As for coming back, SW only goes so far and I don't think they'll do connecting flights over 2 days. SW doesn't do red-eye flights where other airlines do, small disadvantage.
Can you pm me details on how to get this match? Staying at the Hyatt MCO this week.haha, no, im going this coming Friday. am told they will force us to put our phones into bags so no pictures allowed
only task i have so far is to look for Ewoks for @Lain wife lol
That doesn’t seem like much. A tow around here is at least $75-100. And once when DH was t-boned in a busy intersection it was 250 or 300 (I don’t remember exactly) because the police call the tow to clear the intersection and you get no say in the matter.I just dug out the CSR book says it covers up to $50 4xs a year.
Yes - a spreadsheet is a mustWow! What great info, especially in regards to the pooling! Quick and thorough.
I'm afraid I'll miss somebody because traffic on here is fast & furious, so I'll post a sincere for all the suggestions & answers so far.
I initially ventured out beyond DIS Visa & DISC because I realized we could capture so much more than 1% rewards on money we were spending anyway. I don't think I'm up to the challenge of heavy churning, so something that earns >1% back coupled with a generous SUB should fit the bill.
It sounds like I need to shoot for one (or more) of the CIP/CSP/CSR. I see a spreadsheet in my future....
Right? I guess I expected a bit more from themThat doesn’t seem like much. A tow around here is at least $75-100. + $3/additional mile on the Plat, which iirc is better than AAA regular membership.
I forgot to use it at The Fountain, but our total was within $3 of our Brilliant credits so it might not have been helpful.Wasn't aware of this. I'll have to look into it. I know some places at Swolphin give 20% off... This last trip I remembered that but our charge at Picabu to trigger all the Brilliant/AMEX offer credits would have cut it close with 20% off so I didn't do it.
OMG there’s a food one? I need it, even though I have no WDW trips coming upI want the food one lol
You have to let us know if it arrives today. I was approved Thursday also, tried to expedite but they said they can’t. I have until Friday to pay DS’s travel soccer which would cover MSR in one charge . Fingers crossed.Spoke too soon, looks like DHs (Edit: Barclays) AA Biz is in the mail today along with my employee card. So 5 days from app with auto approval to receipt of cards, including a weekend. 3 business days.
My app, on the other hand, is still pending.
Citi hates DH. They think he has a delinquent account which is the one he closed 2 years ago. Citi being Citi.IDK why but Barclays hates us here....
I know a few answered already, but URs are like a purchase eraser though for any purchase (or part of any purchase) No need to be a travel purchase or any other requirement. I just used some as a deposit to my bank account for some Disney GCs I bought, or it can be a statement credit. Or transferred to Airlines or hotel, or used to book travel including some events, museums, etc. I recently booked 3 cruise excursions with URs plus a sightseeing trip in Vancouver.Knew I'd forget something! I'm not 100% confident on pursuing a business card, but just realized P2's hobby-related sales could qualify. Hmm.....even more options to confuse me!
Also, how difficult is it to redeem UR? All of my experience so far has been cash-back through either gift card or purchase erasure, so it's been extremely flexible.

Great churning/travel day for me today. Informed delivery is showing my Barclays Jetblue business card and DH's employee cards are in the mail. Will use Plastiq targeted 1% Mastercard offer to pay my student loan then pay cable and phone to knock out the $1,000 MSR!
On Saturday, DH applied for the Amex Everyday and was approved and my referral fee of $100 statement credit posted today.
I also booked our tickets to Italy for spring break of next year. My dates are fixed so I didn't want to mess around and wait for lower fares. I booked what I could afford and now I can stop obsessing and just plan our tours and research our trip!
I budgeted $2,000 for flights and got that for 4 people on Non Stop Round Trip (JFK to Milan) on Emirates. We are spending Easter in ITALY!!!
Hey! I love our Lilly store!!!! The dressing rooms are so pretty. It's so U of R though (I'm not really the U or R type!).We have an LP store at a local mall and... wow. It is BRIGHT. Hopefully I don't offend anyone here by saying this... but it's cute clothing if you're under the age of 7. At 30, I don't need to highlight certain areas of my body in neon pink...
