My silly questions, but you're signed into the account that has DH's Hilton Biz on it (not an AU account)? And you've checked the top right corner to change the card and it's not listed there? And it's not an option on the Hilton Biz account page above the Recent Transactions section? Have you tried doing it from the app?

Double checked....no authorized users but yes, logged into my husbands account. I can see the "Refer a Friend" above the transactions section for both the Bonvoy and Marriott Biz, but not for the Hilton Acsend Biz. Downloaded the app just to check. Again, under Account, sure enough, refer a friend and refer a business are under the Bonvoy and Marriott Biz, but that section isn't available for the Hilton card.

It figures I just did my first reload on Sunday. No shutdown for me, but I don't know if I'm cut out for MS. I was only planning on using it for fee free gift cards from Staples. I only have about $500 left and trying to decide if I should use it or just spend them. Are you going to just get another Serve account? I'm wondering if there is anything you can do to avoid it. Seems like most of the comments on Reddit transferred money out soon after loading. Wonder if using the bill pay is safer.

Omg, the bands are like all gone. I was trying to checkout yesterday and it was giving me problems and now everything is gone. I hope they get more options up. If I don't get one for our June trip I hope we can get some for December.

Yeah, I think I'll do bill pay next time. There are reports of people being able to get a new card after shutdown, but I'm going to have DH get one instead. I'm sitting on $2500 in VGC's. Supposedly they do the shutdowns in waves so if you made the cut this time, you shouldn't have to worry for awhile.

I am following your story closely as I just received my JetBlue biz. I already have an aviator biz. I successfully activated and made a few purchases, but who knows what will happen. When did you notice you couldn’t use the card?

It appears I’m in the clear as I confirmed my charges went through.

New plan is to put the new AC unit on those 2 cards, which will meet that same goal (so thankful our AC guy takes CCs!).

It's pretty sick that I actually feel a bit of excitement when an unexpected bill comes up like that when I'm meeting an MSR. We had to replace half our roof after a particularly bad storm in March and the insurance company cut us a check to do it. I was thinking oh yay, this worked out GREAT. Deposit check, use credit card to pay the roofers.

Until the roofers said... um, no.LOL The nerve. They were already on the job and I must have had the funniest look on my face when they told me no credit cards. They totally destroyed my plan! (they really are the best roofers... but come ON). I hate that! These days I almost always ask if they take a credit card first thing. I'm willing to use Plastiq for really great contractors but it's nice if we can do it without a fee, isn't it? I hope they fix it quick! Florida 100s are no joke.

I'm now up to $42,000 in contractor payments for this year that couldn't be put on cc. The $28k kitchen remodel was the same (well, insurance paid $14k of it after a flood) but still, I think about what IF this could have all gone on cc. Ughh! At least materials all did to the tune of about $15k since Nov 2018.

My roofer took the first $5000 on a credit card. I had plans to use 3 different cards, but at least I found out in advance.

I did miscalculate though. I had them do all new gutters and if I'd waited just a bit I could have paid it as a separate job. Instead it all went on one invoice.

And, the next quote with a company that would have done all on a credit card was about 3K higher, so it may all be relative.

I had the same thing happed...we need a new fence but they would only take the deposit on a card...ugh
Will be in Orlando starting Saturday visiting our son...was looking forward to warmer temperatures then we have had here in NY...but not 100

Yes! My DH was wondering why I wasn't more upset, then I started babbling about CCs and MSRs and he was like, "Ohhhhhhhh" He's slowly but surely learning... he saw a CC offer come in the mail from BOA, and said, "Not today Satan!" - one of his finer moments

They're supposed to come today, thank goodness! I'm a thin-skinned Florida girl who can wear jeans/long sleeves when it's 80 outside, but I like having the nice AC to come back into!
