Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Checking in tomorrow morning for our first Poly and first CL stay!! Getting really anxious now. I've seen tons of pics of the CL offerings and have seen lots of chatter regarding what is served. I keep seeing wine and beer, but would there be any other alcoholic beverages available for those of us who don't drink either of those?
I don't remember seeing other types of alcohol at Poly, but enjoy your stay and please report back about the offerings! I feel like I haven't seen a super recent Poly CL review. :)

Stayed at Poly Club level 2 weeks ago. Had 4-5 varieties of wine, an alcoholic punch, 4 types of beer, hard cider, Baileys, Disarono, Grand Mariner, and one other spirit(totally blanking)

The afternoon snacks and the dessert options were the least interesting of the bunch.

My one minor complaint about the lounge itself was that the carpet in the seating area was in really bad shape with a lot of large stains. I’m sure it is not easy to keep carpet in a dining area clean but it did take away from the luxurious feel of the lounge just a little bit.

I agree about the afternoon snacks and desserts, but I think it's because they spend their budget on evening apps (I also thought the breakfast was a little underwhelming compared to other lounges. In particular, the odd goat cheese assortment they had every day at breakfast) Their evening apps were generous and very good.

I agree about the carpet as well: the one glaring maintenance issue we saw. The stains were really huge!

I have only stayed GV CL, but that is all my brain can let me spend (so far at least lol!). BUT, if I could handle TPV I would in a heart beat. The lounge view is great, but sitting on your balcony watching fireworks has got to be a great experience and so convenient.

Not sure if this makes sense but I tend to book what I am ok with up front but never think about what I could be saving after the fact. If I did, I wouldn't stay at most of the places we stay. :rotfl:

Whatever you decide, either will be awesome. Happy deciding and have a great trip!

Me too, I'm content with GV. I also feel like GV gives me a better chance of having a patio or balcony. We usually watch from the beach, my 15 yo is a creature of habit. Even with a TPV he would make me sit on the beach and watch at least once.

I'm not going until 2020 and I'm throwing around the idea of GF RPC. The rest want Poly but for some reason RPC is drawing me in. What's pros and cons of RPC vs Poly? Can you see fireworks from GF pool?

We are headed to BWI in a month and are so excited :)

I love BWI!! Have a great trip :wizard:.

Hello everyone! I am planning a birthday trip for my daughter and I, her friend and her mom. We will be staying Poly CL again.:dancer: With the SWGE opening late summer trying to get opinions on when you would travel. Crowds vs Heat is the question...:rotfl2: What would you choose? I know they are doing the early early magic hours but if I am being realistic, with 2 teenage girls, we will not be at a park before 8.

My options are:
Aug 8-12th
October 17-20th
October 24-28th
January 23-27th
January 30-3rd

I would do 4 day PH. Thanks for your input!

My choice would be Oct. I love going that time of year as the weather is usually great and although the crowds will probably be crazy with SWGE opening, we are a go-with-the-flow type of family so crowds wouldn't bother us. Good luck deciding, although I'm sure you'll have a great time no matter which dates you choose :).

On the Magical Express heading back to the airport now :( We had a great 5 nights at the YC CL and are so sad to leave.

I am so sad to go home but I did buy an AP for this trip so it’s time to start planning the next one!

Glad you had a great time! Have fun planning your next trip :goodvibes.

Just checked in and posting live from BWI. Here are today’s afternoon snacks:
PB&J sandwiches
Greek Wrap and Turkey
Crudités with Avocado Dip
Eggs and asparagus wrapped with smoked salmon
Make your own trail mix
Cookies and candies

Having trouble posting thumbnails. Will try again later.

Thanks for the updates on some of the offerings. Hope you have a great stay :wizard:.

We can’t wait. We arrive there in seven days.

Have a great time :).

Checking in tomorrow morning for our first Poly and first CL stay!! Getting really anxious now.

Poly CL is amazing, you will love it! Have a great trip :wizard:.

Leaving for RPC in two days.

Have a great time! :jumping1:

I'm not going until 2020 and I'm throwing around the idea of GF RPC. The rest want Poly but for some reason RPC is drawing me in. What's pros and cons of RPC vs Poly? Can you see fireworks from GF pool?

Pros for Poly CL:
- great fireworks view from the lounge
- lounge is just steps from the pool so it's convenient for grabbing snacks/drinks while at the pool
- can watch fireworks while swimming
- beach is a great place to watch fireworks and is just steps from Hawaii longhouse

Cons for Poly CL:
- no balconies on 2nd floor rooms

Pros for RPC:
- food offerings seem to be a little better than Poly (from what I've read; haven't stayed RPC in awhile)
- majority of rooms have balconies

Cons of RPC:
- Not very convenient to access while at the pool

I don't think you can go wrong with either one as they are both great, just depends what you're looking for as far as atmosphere, convenience to the lounge, etc. Good luck and happy planning :wizard:.

I am not able to get photos to load, but can provide a recent overview of Club Level at the Poly. Single size toiletries available in room, including sunscreen, after sun gel, multiple lotions, shampoo, etc. No wall mount yet. Breakfast alternates between a hot option and an oatmeal bar, a cereal station, great fresh fruit variety and basic pastry options. Mickey waffles in the kids area. Non dairy milk was available. Multiple yogurt parfait options as well. Mid day snack was minimal. Fresh Fruit, make your own trail mix. Only sodas and juice out in the day, but you can ask for beer or wine, etc for by the pool, and they will provide a plastic vessel. Lunch time snack was a build your own salad bar with shrimp/chicken alternating. Pineapple buns, some cold meats and cheeses. Nespresso available 24/7. “Happy Snacky Hour” included a wide variety of sushi, and a variety of appetizers from the Poly restaurant menus. Beer and Wine was out from 5-10. Desserts were a little lackluster, including brownies, cookies, some tropical custards. Ginger Ale is available by request if you don’t see it in the soda area. Hard Cider that was GF was also available

Thanks for the update!

Mickey waffles sound like a new and wonderful addition! What other hot breakfast options did you see? Also, did they have any evening apps that kids/picky eaters might like (chicken nuggets etc)?

We like to watch from the lounge and beach too! Plus I have to see it once in the park each trip.:cloud9:

The lounge is ok depending on what is going on in there at the time but I do wish they turned the lights down.

I'm sorry I don't know about the GF views. I've only stayed in one of the outer buildings and don't remember too much about the pool view. I'd love to stay RPC one day though!! It sounds so wonderful!! Have a great trip whichever you pick!

Thanks. We know and love poly cl. All the reviews of RPC sound lovely. We love the vibe of the Poly, really everything about it. I'm not really sure why I'm being drawn to RPC. I hate to book it and have my kids complain lol. My husband hates GF so I would have to convince him or bribe him with golf.

This is our first stay at AKL CL. We have a standard room ( couldn’t snag a villa). I’ve stayed CL at the YC and their rooms are on the same floor as the lounge. As I understand it, they are all on the 4th floor at AKL unless you’re in a villa? Also, are the CL rooms any different than a standard room non Club Level? Is the 4th fp strictly CL or a mix? So many questions! Thanks for any help, I’m lost!!

Thanks so much for the detailed reviews.
The offerings sound great. I didn’t realize there is soup. I do hope that we get the meatballs and Mac & Cheese. My DS & DH will love those.
We’re only there for 3 nights/4 days.
Your room sounds great. We have a SV CL as well and requested a daybed & two queens. What did you have?
I’m sure your sad to leave after such a nice trip. Safe travels home.

We had two queen beds and a daybed in our room.

I agree! Wish they would have had those on our Poly CL stay this past Oct ;).

I totally understand about loving everything about the Poly. RPC is wonderful, but the Poly will always be my favorite. There's just something about the atmosphere/vibe that makes your stay so relaxing :cloud9:.

You are correct that CL rooms are on the 4th floor, separate from the lounge which is on the 6th floor. CL and standard non-CL rooms are the same and the 4th floor does consist of both CL and non-CL rooms. Hope you have a great trip :).

Hi everyone. I'm trying to flip through 1100 pages and figured I would just ask. My parents want to plan a 'trip of a lifetime' and I think this might include CL. I want to give them options between a MK resort and an EP resort, so maybe GF and YC. Which CL is better, why and is CL really worth the extra $$? I'm doing a little pricing out for them and it looks like the price difference is a $100 a night. Thanks!!

worth it ? Everyone has different opinions. You could spend the $1000 over the trip on an extra two night stay or fancy dinner in Disney Springs. That said we really enjoyed it this past November at Wilderness Lodge. Morning was nice to grab hot oatmeal, coffee, fruit etc. eat in lounge while others showered. We also really enjoyed the 9-10 pm relaxing with Baileys in hot cocoa or glass of wine on a night when we didn’t stay out for fireworks. The trip was a bit more relaxing.

Just checking in from our Poly club level stay... here are some pictures from breakfast: they had oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, various meats and cheeses, parfait, and pastries

Thank you for the Poly CL pics! We will be there in a few weeks and I was curious about the current offerings. This looks pretty similar to last summer so far. Thanks!!:beach:
