Thank you both. Obviously we are newbies at driving in the world.

@MrPTato what time of day did you go? Maybe if we go first thing in the morning it’ll be better?
Wow, 2 hours! Eek! We picked ours up there in Jan 2017, Saturday early afternoon and it was just a few mins wait. I would never have thought it could get up to 2 hours.
Well have to keep in touch Thursday. Current plan is uber from MCO to Swan, Epcot for Illuminations merchandise, then MK. But this week is kicking both our butts :faint:

My mouth hit floor...We were trying to get a park day in before our cruise the following day..we still did....just had less time.

It was around 11a on a Sunday. They will take your number and text you to come back when it is your turn, although there was a couple people saying they never got the text to return. Almost wished we had done it at a park. Weekday may be better for sure.
I think my goal will be to get there pretty early. I wouldn’t mind grabbing a bite to eat while we wait though. I guess we’ll see how things go

No worries! Pretty soon you guys will be the WDW experts because of how frequently you can go :)

Would WDW refund the $25 if you got an AP? If not, is @Haley R interested in dining at and WDW resort restaurant in proximity to a ticket window? Could always book a resort ADR, park for free at the resort, eat, get the APs, and head out (thinking it would be easiest CR -> MK, Poly -> TTC, or YC/BC/BWI -> IG)
That’s a great idea!
Just saw on another thread that the prices of the AP went up today as of midnight June 18th. @Haley R
yeah I’m pretty pissed about this. I’m actually thinking about just not getting them now. Maybe we’ll just get the gold plus water parks as planned. I honestly don’t care about SWGE that much. I don’t really even like Star Wars but Dh does. I’d rather put the spend on an MSR and have time to get gcs. I guess we have a big decision to make.

Yeah we can stay in touch. Not sure Dh will be thrilled about the price jump overnight. We may just hold off and not get them right away. I would hate to buy the platinum just for this and not even get a spot

For those of you who use Chase's website a lot.... I can see some of my recent purchases in the Ultimate Rewards area (where they show you how many UR points you've earned) but a couple of those same purchase are NOT showing up in my "transaction" list. Anyone ever experienced that before?

Late night application, lol. Instant approval on the Citi AA Biz! Went for the 40k/$250 offer. Decided to be the DP I want to see. 😆 Will buy a $50 AA GC first to test it out before I put spend on it. I had the same card, opened about 21 months ago and closed after a year. It's definitely a different link/offer though. So I will see! Will try for a match, but not putting too much hope on it.

Did the Barclay Aviator Biz too on Friday. But that's still pending. Probably in for a long wait.

eBay sellers, can someone update me on international shipping? It used to be horrible to sell to an international buyer because of all sorts of issues, including customs fees and delays and I can't recall what else, but for the few things I have listed for sale over the past few years, I have "unchecked" the sell internationally box. Has it gotten any better to sell to an international buyer? I think I read something about sending the item to a domestic location and then eBay would handle getting it to the international destination . . . is this remotely accurate?

Well, as you know I am BRAND NEW to ebay selling, and you may have read my post a few zillion pages back where I was contacted by an International buyer and asked if I would be willing to ship it to him (shipping was gonna cost him more than the item itself, but I digress).

It's my first ebay sale ever, and it hasn't arrived yet but the tracking shows it to be in Warsaw (he is in Poland although I don't recall which city... not that it matters because I know nothing about Poland's geography). I will update when he has finally received it but I can tell you that at least on this end, ebay made it seamless as far as the shipping portion. It auto-calculated the shipping costs and all (which I didn't know it would do). I did have a few bad days when it appeared to be sitting in LA for three days with no activity but then suddenly it was in NY and then in Warsaw.

I am not sure that is useful as I have nothing to which to compare international vs domestic shipping... hopefully someone with real experience will chime in.

Amex changes the expiration for the card based on the month it is sent/resent to you. They all have the same month and one has a different year for mine...Both BCP and Gold have the same. I'll request a new card in July to update one.

If you request a replacement card because you say it’s lost (vs. damaged), Amex will send you a new card with a different number, usually where the last four digits are 2xxx vs 1xxx.

I hate Amex’s numbering system too, because I have like 4 cards ending in 1007 and another 2 ending in 1006. I’m not even skittish about putting that info out there because I’m sure most of you have Amex cards with these same last four digits.

It’s a quirk with the Chase Ink cards.

Your charges will show up in the UR points/review more activity part of your UR page and tell you how many points you’ve earned for each transaction usually within a day of making the charge. However, back on your CIP’s account login, a charge will show as pending for a few days, disappear briefly, then finally post.
