The CM I spoke with this morning said that they are having some challenges, today, since some "magical" enhancements on the system, yesterday. Could this be an indicator of something getting ready to be released?

(I love all of the guesses and predictions in this thread. We shall soon [hopefully] see who got it right)

We will know when we know.

They have magical enhancements every day...

If anyone has done these registrations I the past, would you share what is needed? Do I have to physically have my pass on me while registering?

I also am a family of 5. Generally speaking, can I register my spouse and 3 kids? All are platinum AP holders

You do not need your pass on hand, just your pass linked in your MDE account. Based off of the wording, you can only register yourself and another qualifying AP guest. In previous events, you would’ve been able to register your family, but it looks like this one is limited. We won’t really know until the link opens up

Never done it before, but I’m positive you do not need the physical pass with you. As long as it’s in your MDE you are fine(but there is the whole debacle about whether or not it needs to be activated).

That is the winning question! We are not sure what qualifies as a ‘guest’ and Disney said it will be limited to 1 guest. Not sure if that means 1 extra person, or 1 extra MDE. Some think the guest is anyone on a separate MDE. Others believe it is 1 extra person, that’s it. I’m personally in the second half, just based on Disney’s wording and it’s limitations for CMs.

Disney clearly states that the AP needs to be activated. It is only on this thread that there seems to be a lot of wishful thinking. ;)

It's really not wishful thinking. It's based on the history in which they have always said it has to be activated to book and yet it never has. They also say that vouchers can't view discounts online or purchase discounted activities online and we all know that's not true either. Bottom line- If I had a voucher and I wanted to try and do the preview- I'd stalk just like everyone else does. If I could book, great. If not, that's life. But I sure wouldn't throw in the towel and assume what Disney says is actually what Disney ends up doing.

I know what the website says. It all depends on whether or not you can trust what Disney says. As cakebaker said, they have said an AP needs to be activated for other things and it has been proven that that is not true.

All of our Platinum AP’s are activated as we were there in April. So that is not an issue. My children are APholders but are minors and are therefore managed by me. So technically, I am not registering a guest. I am registering my APholder minor who does not have an individual MDE account. Given that I have 3 children it seems by comments so far that I wouldn’t be able to register my family of passholder’s due to system constraints despite everyone of us being eligible. Am I misunderstanding? Anyone have insight?
