Priceline Express Deals

No not via a third party site. Only via Disney or a travel agent, and require you to purchase a package.

Dave
Someone previously pointed out that you do not have to purchase a package to get the dining plan added. Maybe you are thinking of free dining where you do have to purchase a room and tickets at full price?

Nope I am not confusing this with the Free Dining offer. You can not add the dining plan to a room only reservation.

The only way to add a dining plan is as part of a vacation package. Three types: vacation package: a ticketless package, a Annual Pass package or finally as a DVC Member.

I got a good coupon but have to book by 7/20 - that's tomorrow so use it while you can!

15% off Express Deals when using the app - 83A98Z6E436
Thanks. 😁 I seem to get my codes later. This beats the 12% I used yesterday and also beats out (by about $3, but, hey, that's about a croissant at Les Halles) the Best Western Disney Springs free parking with $20. gift card I already had booked. The 12% did not. So, here I go--again.

Last month I booked with an 8% code ;) My one consolation is that I am sure I would not have gotten the 15% code if I hadn't booked already. Maybe next time.

I need a little help, likely from someone who was booked All-Star Music or Movies before on Express Deals. I think I’m seeing one of the two on Express Deals for Aug 1 - 4, but can’t figure out which one it is. I’d prefer Movies since most of it is me renovated. Has anyone booked this before and is able to see the hotel unblinded? It’s a 3 star in Bonnet Creek for $87 with a guest score of 70% and 200 reviews.

I was wrong and you are mostly right, exceptions are for those staying with DVC points and AP holders according to DFB. This article by Disney Parks Mom's panel seems/seemed misleading to me, they just mention having a room reservation to add the DP. https://disneyparksmomspanel.disney...isting-reservation-done-online-disney-353641/

I've booked both Movies and Music through PL. It says I've booked there before. However, I just booked two separate nights--one yesterday and one today (totally missing the WEEKEND20 code for $20 off for 2 nights totaling at least $100. which would have caused me to book both together) and both were Movies.
I can't keep it all in my head any more. 😣

The reference was to the lowest Disney advertised rates. They offer deals to guests that purchase different types of Annual Passes (AP), Glold, Siver, Select, etc... generally known as passholders.

The Priceline Express deals are usually move than these passholder rates.

Dave
thank u so much. Learning so much.

Thanks! All the data points (well, yours and one other) seem to point to Movies - which is good!

My dates are Aug 5-10. It was a 3* with 7+ rating for $76/night. No resort fee.
As long as you were in Bonnet Creek area, that shows up as Movies or Music (based on my "hint." Movies seems to be rolling at the moment. My Movies bookings each show "preferred" room in MDE. So, although I don't care about that, it made the deal a little sweeter. If you book today, and can use the app, there's that 15% code (83A98Z6E436 ) listed above by tzeitel. Otherwise, SUMMER20 may give you $20 off.

WWYD?
I am going the end of September/first week of October. Right now I can get POR for $1200 for 5 nights total booking direct through Disney (AP rate). I can get Swan for $1100 total (PE deal minus 15% plus resort fees plus cost to transport to and from the airport).
Would you book POR? Swan? Or wait to see if a better deal pops up closer to?
I’m having a hard time deciding here...

I just bit the bullet and booked The Swan !!!! If anyone is following along I really went back and forth for weeks over this decision. I waited for discounts and they were pretty dismal overall . I had a Priceline booking for Port Orleans for $2120 . Then when discounts were realeased I got a standard room at Coronado (non tower) for about $100 less but I had to change dates a bit .
I let it roll around in my brain awhile and watched some videos of the Swan. I love Disney themeing at the mods but I pretty much hate the buses day in and day out , and I don’t want to pay to park.
The major advantage of the Swan for us was that we are there during Food and Wine and can walk to so many restaurants on the Boardwalk and Epcot. Plus, for the very early DHS opening hours this fall we can walk over and back. The boats are lovely and we will only have to bus to two parks. Once I really did my research The Swan won on all levels.
So I booked the Swan today , saved about $400 overall and we are SO EXCITED.

Now, how do I go about adding this to MDE and adding my child ? I know Priceline only guarantees two adults but I’ve seen before that a child could be added.
Thank you everyone for all the help

I would go with Swan for proximity to Epcot. Not a huge fan of POR, it's nice just not for me.

I just tried the 15% off code using the Priceline app without success. It said the code had already been used. Why would it say that when I haven't used the code? Any thoughts?
