Can anyone confirm that post 5 (expiring T2 fastpasses) is still valid? (like in the past 30 days or so) There's been some hubbub that rules have changed around this. I personally think it's people just not understanding the system but I've been known to be wrong before.
Close to the end of 30 days, but it worked for me at the end of June!

Rules haven't changed but the system doesn't always work as it is supposed to. I've had it work and also had it not work (last trip was in Feb and it worked, a previous trip we had them get stuck). Sometimes they don't fall off once expired. For that reason a lot of people will recommend tapping the tier 2's just to make sure they disappear.

So what happens when they "get stuck"? You can't tap, you can't modify, you can't get a new one because it still thinks you're on the original 3? How do you rectify that?

I'm trying to plan around a few late afternoon starts at HS after the tiering changes, so chances are there won't be anything worth getting but it would be nice to have the option to check.

Cancel, add a new tier 2, tap. Add another tier 2, tap. Have fun with tier 1's.

Could you please inform me what happen if I can’t use a Club Level Fast Pass because the ride is closed due to the rain for instance?

Is the CLFP transformed in a anytime FP only for the same day?

Thank you

Hoping to get some help on whether or not it is worth us purchasing the CLFP so late in the game. We are going Aug 29- September 2, my guess is that all the fast passes are already gone for most of the good rides right? We have are 3 standard fast passes booked already but I was wondering if I should buy the CLFP and book evening/night time fast passes for rides on the parks we are going to in the evening. But since we are 30 days out does it make sense to buy these? Not so concerned with the money but don't want to purchase if I won't even be able to book any FP. Is there something I am missing with this program? Am I "guaranteed" to be able to book FP?
Would love to hear thoughts or suggestions! Thanks

Question on TOS

4 people, A B C D, have 3 FP booked for day. All enter park with MB tap and bioscan. Go to 2 of FP and other rides, then leave for a break and plan to come back for FP #3 and nighttime shows. A and B are too tired and don’t want to comeback. Is it OK for C and D to take the other 2 MB to get double ride on FP #3.

Would it work - MBs are linked to valid tickets and already used once for entrance and for at least one FP that day.

If all still in park, it would be OK as explained in previous posts, so wondering if leaving is somehow tracked.

Thanks. We have 2 disabled persons in our party, so using a combo of FP and DAS strategies. Going back to the resort is in our plans daily, since we want the evening shows and fireworks. I know there will be a day when someone wants to stay behind.

Love this thread and all the info.

Thanks for all of the information - it has been so helpful!

So, I had all of our fastpasses for our vacation. Then, we added a person to our reservation. I have successfully added to them to all fastpasses except FOP and 7DMT. For those two rides, I have been searching, quite often, for a new fp for him. He has 2 FP for these days, we have our 3. Would it be more successful if I had a fp already reserved for him (for another ride in the same park) and periodically try to modify and keep refreshing? Or keep doing what I am doing. Or is just unknown. I have 3 weeks until our trip. Thanks - all advice will be appreciated!

You're better off having 2 and trying to add a 3rd than you are modifying a different FP.

At this point, I can't imagine you'd get enough headliners to make $150/pp worthwhile. Have you considered EMM or AH events?

Apologies if the answer to this question is in the thread already - I've read a large number of the posts, but not all, so may have missed it.
We just booked FP+ for our upcoming October trip. We got most of the Tier 1's we'd hoped for, which is great. We did book some tier 2's for first thing in the morning - because that's when we could fit them in around Tier1's, ADR's and other plans. 2 members of our group aren't morning people, so there may be a day when we don't get to the park in time for our first FP (we made sure that the things we booked early morning are things we don't mind missing). If we have a FP booked for 9:05-10:05 but don't get to the park until 11 - is that FP considered used (so that once we use our remaining 2 FP's we can book what would be our 4th of the day - which could be a second tier 2, or will we need to book and use another tier 2 to make up for missing the tier 2 we slept through in the morning?

I think, from reading the first couple of posts in this thread, that we may be able to book another tier 1 - but I'm unclear on that.

Also wondering - when you mention tapping in at a ride but not riding - you just tap in and walk away? It's been a while since our last visit - I'm trying to remember if all of the tap in locations are far enough outside that you won't be having to edge your way past lines of people.

Lastly - thank you so much for this information - my brain is a bit tired from the planning and now trying to be sure we know all of the ins and outs - but I really appreciate the help!

Yes, if your time simply expired that FP should be considered used, and after 3 are used you can get additional tier 1s (or 2's if those are the rides you want. You can just get a 4th, 5th, 6th , etc...rolling FP after your first 3 are used). However, the key word is should. Sometimes they don't fall off for some reason, and if that happens you would have to cancel them and add any additional one that you can get for as soon as you can get it and either use it or tap in for it. I had that give me problems quite a bit the first time I tried to use refresh, and it gave me fits, so now I try to tap in if we can (for example one person not wanting to ride, or if its a throw away FP). However, if someone hasn't entered the parks yet that isn't an option, so you have to just make sure they do disappear and if not make another to use or tap in on.

Yes, tapping in is just walking up to the first fp spot, reaching up and tapping your band so mickey turns green, and then leaving instead of continuing in the line. I'll admit I feel weird doing it, but I'm assured that the CMs see it all the time. It's usually for less popular rides, I know we did it with LWTL since it was so easy to do on our way out of soarin'. Sometimes it's chaotic near the FP entrance and I don't feel like it's really even noticed, if the area is empty it will be obvious but not a big deal. I just smile and say hi, and walk away. I assume they know what you are doing and don't care.

Am I "guaranteed" to be able to book FP?

Nope, not guaranteed.
On the other hand, when you call to book it, you'll be speaking to one of the most knowledgable people on earth about this topic. You can ask them what's available.
On the other-other hand, now here you are on the phone, and still have to make a hard decision, it probably won't be obvious.

Anyone gone recently who has still had success going on rides where they modified their regular FP+ to duplicate their CL FP+?

I have a question in regards to park hopper. During my trip we are having breakfast at Magic Kingdom and then hopping to Hollywood Studios. Since we have no plans to FP+ in Magic Kingdom, can we FP+ in Hollywood Studios that day?

And with FP+ how many of these fast passes do you get to reserve? I see ‘3 per day’ so does that mean when you have 2 day tickets it is 6 total?

Yes. Each person can reserve up to 3 per day, with the ability to add more after. For further questions, please read the first posts of the main FP FAQ.

Are they still offering the extra 3 fast passes when you book a club level room? I just tried to book a club level room but I’m not seeing the extra fast passes at $50 per day as an add on option.
