SWGE AP previews - Meet Ups

No wristbands at check in. Only allowed in 30 mins early. So 1pm can show up at 12:30. They did ask for my papers. passholder merch is at 1st stage at the muppet exit.

The play Disney parks app is up and running. No wait for droids when we got there at 8:45. Stopped for photos along the way. PhotoPass set us around 8:35/8:40. Cantina is crowded but everyone is having a good time and sharing space nicely (at least where we are). They have the mugs and beer flight available.

Had 11 and got in at 10:15. Got time for Ogas at 10:50

They do have mugs at Oga’s. They let us into the land about 30 minutes early. I was also able to get into Savi’s without a reservation.

We’re here for our 11-3 preview. Checked in at 10:50 - didn’t try any earlier because we had a FP prior to this. The CM didn’t have an iPad to scan my band so I had to show my email and a photo ID for myself (my DD is only 10). We signed up with a third person but he was unable to come with us on the trip so the CM confirmed it would just be the two of us. We were directed to another umbrella where we got our return tickets for Oga’s - 11:50. We walked around and took some photos, eventually getting in line for MFSR at 11:10. The posted wait was 50 minutes and at this rate I believe it’s accurate. We’re about halfway through the outdoor portion of the queue and it’s been 20 minutes. No one checked our bands when we entered the queue so I’m guessing we could stay here and ride even after our preview slot ends.

Private event in SWGE.

Disney has been throwing events in the land ever since it’s been open for previews.

SWGE is probably crowded because 2 time slots are in the land.

Please report back on crowd levels when you are allowed to enter.

We still have 15 minutes left on our actual preview time but right now it doesn’t look like there is anyway to sort people out based on time. I’ll update if storm troopers force us out at 1pm.

I have noticed the first hour or so was less crowded but it’s still not bad even though there are people from two, possibly three slots, in the land right now. The line for SR has been anything from 25-55 minutes with longer lines around the time new preview groups are entering.

• The standard Annual Passholder merchandise discount applies toward purchases during Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge previews.
• Discounts on food and beverages as well as the build-your-own experiences at Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop will not be available
• Passholder-exclusive and opening season merchandise will be available for purchase outside of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Please direct Guests to Once Upon a Time, Tatooine Traders, Star Wars Launch Bay and Stage One.

So by not having their act together, via showing a email, they dont have the ablility to see reservation times and refer to that, why bother then......odd....
