**September 2019**

Single digit day (9), so excited!! Praying for no more storms! :beach:
I read your post as I am waiting for the accuweather site to load :rolleyes1

This is the longest I have waited to start stalking weather, I figured until Dorian was gone things would be up in the air. My brother was also there last week so he reported some.

Wow only 8 days to go!!! We don't usually go to WDW until November so I am so behind on getting ready! Our 3 kiddos just went back to school on Tuesday so I can now focus on getting things done. We are also flying this time (we usually drive from Canada) so I am still trying to figure out what we are allowed to bring on a plane. Does anyone know if I can pack gogo squeeze for the kids? We also added 2 days to the end of our trip because it was cheaper to fly home. However adding 2 more days to our trip cost more so it kind of just evened out (at least that's what I keep telling my DH :teeth: ). I am nervous about the heat but still hoping maybe lower crowds will make it worth it.

adding days "always evens out" lol I always convince my DH of that, the flight is $50 cheaper each.. luckily he just agrees not seeing that even if the hotel evened out what we spend on food and drinks def wouldn't LOL

Two weeks from today I will be going crazy waiting for the kids and husband (teacher) to get out of school. I will have the bags packed in the car (“ready to drop off at the cleaners” my kids are so gullible still), house sitter waiting down the road, and trying not to freak out. :yay:

So looking at how short lines are for rides. Do we think its still aftermath of Dorian? Or is it because all of the EMH everywhere on every day? A little of both? We have 16 days till our first park day and would just love the crowds were anywhere close to what they currently seem to be

I think it's a bit of both, combined with the fact that these first 2 weeks of september are some of the lowest crowds of the year, with kids just going back to school. We have 22 days till our trip and I don't expect the low crowds of this week, but I'm hopeful it won't be that bad at all. I think you'll be fine in 2 weeks.

I fly A LOT and I highly doubt you'll be able to carry them on the plane. Anything that resembles liquid will be difficult. Now with that said if the container is less than 100ml (3.4 oz) you can put them in a quart sized ziplock and they should go through.

If it was me I would stick with dry snacks for the flight.

Here is the general liquid policy (this is USA you might have different requirements in Canada).

I'm so nervous guys, needing all the pixie dust I can get. We fly out of Halifax, Nova Scotia on Sunday and Dorian is forecasted to be hitting us pretty hard on Saturday. Fingers crossed for minimal damage and no delays. I NEED this vacation.

Spoke to my sister the travel agent today, she has a special Universal trip with her agency next week but while she is down there she plans on Epcot or whatever. She said she doesn’t expect it to be busy. She had to reschedule a lot of people cause of Dorian, and only one family rebooked for this month. Most people ended up rebooking in Jan/Feb cause of work. I am still thinking we are all gonna have a great low-crowd time all month tbh. I think SWGE and price increases scared the heck out of people.

As someone who just went through Dorian in a coastal plains town in Southeastern North Carolina, don’t worry! You’re gonna be fine, I promise.

Thanks so much for the links! We are flying out of Buffalo so this is very helpful! I think I will just skip the gogo squeeze it seems like to much of a hassle.

I moved a few clients' trips by a few days but none that cancelled due to Dorian rescheduled for Sept either! We were there pretty much the same dates last year that we're going this year -the 14-18th - and while it was nowhere near dead it wasn't nearly as crowded as other times of the year so I don't think SWGE will make it unbearable this month. We can't really go by the last week but I think the time of year and EEMH are both in our favor :thumbsup2

Long shot but is anyone doing a firework cruise that needs 4 more people tonight? We have a small family with a 3 and 4 year old.very well behaved kids!

Leave in 4 days. Quick 4 hour drive to WDW. Weather looks good for this time of year. Upper 80's and no tropical systems for at least a week!
