@NewbieMom I actually didn't get a call because I called them first, asking about why I couldn't access my reservation online. I called the main number for Delta Reservations.

The person who called me left a detailed message with her direct number. Caller ID showed the Delta Vacations number 1-800-800-1504.

Thanks! I'll save the number to my phone. If I don't see anything change in my account over the weekend or get a call first, I'll call them.

I tried to do the chase business checking account today. FAIL. I had a flyer that I got in the mail for the $300 bonus, so figured I’d give it a try. My business is a rental property, so I was confident in answering any questions. But the guy said I would need various documents about the business. Which I don’t have. He told me they would be easy to get by going to the town hall... I said never mind, not worth the time. ☹️

I was checking March 2020. Lots of availability a few days ago, now nothing!
December availability is there. Maybe it is a 2020 issue.
Definitely something to monitor! Now I am hesitant to apply for the card if WDW resorts are off the portal again combined with the recent bonus language change. I figured 1 card could get me a few nights in a value. Now I am unsure. I bet @SouthFayetteFan is very happy he booked CR when he had the chance!!!

Holy moly, who posted the tip about trying the 75k Delta Biz Plat offer from Deltas website to get out of pop up jail???? I tried a referral for my dh for a pers plat for 75k MRs. I really want some MR's, didn't like the fee, but of course got the dang pop up...again. So then I found that 75k Delta Biz plat offer, only on one browser would it pull up, and he was approved!!! Got the card number and everything!!! Of course I don't even think these will help, as I don't think Delta flies lie flat to Hawaii at the end of August, but hey, maybe it will help the pop up and they never expire!
Only issue is, it would not let me put in his skymiles number, so hopefully I can get them merged ok.

It was me!! Got DHs pop up to go away with it! Well I haven’t tried again but at least it’s a card! If delta vacations does the offer again the points will come in handy!
Funny I couldn’t enter his number either it was grayed out. Figured I’d do a chat but forgot.

Thank you!!!! It was so weird, on all other browsers the offer was either 30k, or "you are not eligible" so odd.

DPs on r/churning and FT of partial payment for Delta packages reimbursing on Amex as airline incidental credit. Wish I'd seen this earlier or thought to try....

Interesting DP. Will definitely keep in mind for future promotions. I put all our the small charges for our Delta packages on the CSR. I wanted the travel insurance if the flights are delayed! Our neighbors flew to Europe this summer and the flights were delayed 12+ hours both ways.

Both kids had spend $75 at amazon get 1500 mr points on their rose gold cards but I don't have it on mine. And ds has whbm--yay but neither dd nor I have it. Glad I checked the kids' cards.
Just spent mine. I couldn't think of anything I really needed so I bought two pairs of running shoes. I'm an avid runner and I just bought two pairs of running shoes last month. I've got my running shoes for the next year.

Awesome! I gave up after no success. I'm off to go try again....

Happy Friday everyone! Unfortunately I was busy working all day today.

At this point it might be MOO but for future reference on Delta Vacation deals: the Barclaycard Arrival Plus payment I made did not code as travel. It says “travel agencies” but apparently that is not a charge that can be erased. :(

Delta Vacations did code as travel on the CSR and will I assume code the same on CIP. I bought two packages with out of pocket remaining of around $800 on each. I plan to use those to help meet minimum spends.

I used 1000 of Dh’s MR points to transfer 1300 to his Marriott account. Now up to the 60,000 which can be transferred to Delta with the 5000 bonus. Just a reminder for those who maybe have a lot of Marriott points and not many SkyMiles.

Speaking of Marriott I booked my one night at the Marriott’s Saba Palms and used the Brilliant 50k certificate. It is on/by World Drive and really close. 2 bedroom with balcony. So i figure that is a decent alternative to our late night arrival.

Interesting! I actually wondered about that. I don’t have any travel credit left right now. Unless I get DH a Plat. Which I want to do but have held off. Is that a good enough reason to go for it? With the DP’s is there a certain minimum amount that is working?

Well I went to CVS and got the worst passport photo in the history of the world.

It looks like a mugshot. :scared:

Also I'm having irrational fears about surrendering my current passport while I wait for the new one. I hate the idea of not being able to... leave if necessary.

Omg I got mine done at CVS today too and it’s AWFUL :rotfl2: It took a couple minutes to print so I walked through the skin care section and determined that I clearly need an eye cream now

I’ve done $2100 in Serve over the last two weeks... and I didn’t even go to Staples this week. Might make it tomorrow, not sure yet. $500 more on my Hilton Surpass and I’ll hit the MSR and get my free night so I can book one of my nights at the Conrad Osaka.
Why did I think the Staples deal ended today? I rushed in at 8:58, 2 minutes before close, and purchased $1k without any problem. I guess I can head back tomorrow to grab more.

So when does that Delta promo end??

I'm waiting also, but somehow I've managed to collect a big stack of Visa and Mastercards. It may just be time to get a serve card
I think I need a card for DH to liquidate the $100 and $50 cards faster. Although I think the $50 ones may be teacher gifts. I am thinking private school teachers are expecting nicer gifts for the holidays?
