I just did mine yesterday. We don't have many places down here that are on Grubhub. I was kind of disappointed cause I've seen mention of Chick Fil A but it's not showing up. Most everything that comes up for me is weird mom and pop places. I may just have to grab cheesecake each month. Such a bummerEnrolled Gold card in dining credit.

Well this makes the decision really easy. Thank you!United doesn't start loading award fares until noon Central and then it's done in batches. So sometime after then August 17 will pop up. I can't tell you what priority flights have so I'd recommend checking in periodically. HTH!
MRs don't directly transfer to United so definitely URs are easier. If you want to set up Avianca, Aeroplan, etc then you can indirectly use *Alliance although I've never considered them for domestic flights.
TL;DR
possible to use MRs but URs are much easier
Mine are 14 and now 16 (gets her license in 3 months!). They're with me every other week. Initially that was so hard on me but now I can't imagine having them every week. I drive swim carpool at 4:15 am four mornings a week. Sometimes one of the kids is sick and I have to pick up too. Head to work at 7:15. Home around 6 PM. DS needs to be picked up from football practice at 6:30 except on Thursdays when there is a JV game. Then I pick him up around 10 PM (why do games start at 7PM?). And on Wednesdays we rush home from practice to get a quick shower and I drop him at the math tutor, run errands, then pick him up an hour later. So when Friday rolls around and it's time to send them to their dad's, I'm not too sad I mean of course I am, but I need a break! I think teenagers run you ragged so you will encourage them to get a license and provide them with a vehicle.Same, here 3, ages 11-15. They're exhausting. I'll be gone chauffeuring from afterschool til 9pm today. I don't know how working parents do it. My job (part-time) has been asking me to go full time for months since my kids are older and self sufficient. Errr, no, I'm way busier now, then when they were younger. It'll be a little easier when the oldest gets her license.
Cheesecake is no Bueno for me and I think the closest to us is Flat Irons. We like South Philly Cheesesteak and I see it being used either there or maybe for a work lunch for DH (I think I am recognizing some of the places he talks about)I just did mine yesterday. My chauffeuring usually ends around 8:30-9 as well each night . I agree with you that I'm also much busier with older kids than I ever was with younger ones.Same, here 3, ages 11-15. Soooooo apparently just before Labor Day AoA got rid of a bunch of their interesting food options. What I read from that is it is very similar to Pop. All we've eaten at Pop are Mickey waffles and pastries, sooooo Can't comment too much on food. We ended up not eating at AoA at all LD weekend. We missed out on Mickey waffles!
So I'd personally go Pop, I really like the reno'd rooms vs the old style but also I'm cheap so I would want to save the $300 for food or something else, like another trip... lol. But we don't spend much time at the resort currently.
I've thought this myself lol! I think my dd17 gets a bit of a thrill out of adding more to my driving schedule while she reminds me how much easier it would be if she could drive.Mine are 14 and now 16 (gets her license in 3 months!). Thank you. I remembered that, but it is still too much. I like when I get YC for $290 or so AP rate. Spoiled over here.I have it for $400
I just happened to be looking again today and those First Saver Award flights I saw last night for 8/16 are gone. I highly doubt they were booked. I guess they disappeared?Yes! This is exactly the info I was looking for. Thank you so much!

How is your DS doing? I question every day if we made the correct decision about private school as every day DS tells me how much he dislikes it and why does he have to go there. Plus the fact that his class sizes are not much smaller than his public MS. If I had known the majority of his classes where going to have 20+ kids in them, I am not sure I would have jumped ship.Mine are 14 and now 16 (gets her license in 3 months!). I see no first saver awards, but a ton of the 50/60 through 8/16. I checked 8/17 at 12:01 CT because I am impatientI have no clue! I guess they could be booked. No idea how many they put in that bucket. Are the 50/60k options still there? I only checked 8/17 and as of 1:07pm EST, I didn't see ewr-sna or ewr-lax loaded.
