Canadian Resident Offer is available!

Thank you again! And your tickets that you modified were purchased through the canadian resident offer? And you pay the difference online if any?

You pay the difference online if there is one (luckily there wasn't one in my case). I bought the tickets before the Canadian offer (I got the Expedia 25% off tickets). Mine were special priced tickets though, so should be the same for the Canadian offer tickets. So, even though you paid less than full price for the tickets, it will be strictly based on whether your new dates are more expensive (if the new date is $10 more for example, I'm pretty sure you'd just be charged $10 - not full price). You do get to see if there is any difference in price before you finalize your changed dates.

Has anyone gotten an adjustment on tickets only? We bought 10 day tickets a month ago at full price. I'm hoping they'll honour it as it would save us $600 dollars. Just waiting for the phone lines to shorten... currently a 60+ minute wait.
Yes I did. Took them time to figure it out.

Question, I have already bought our tickets through Disney if I call to apply the discounted tickets will I lose all of our fast passes? We are booked Oct 27-November 4th.

If you purchase the Canadian discount tickets, and then at a later time, lets say free dining comes up (our trip is end of summer)
  1. Can the Canadian tickets be converted/combined with the other offer?
  2. If we prefer the free dining offer, can you cancel the Canadian tickets? Or are they final sale?
Guessing no and no, but want to confirm. (i.e. thinking final sale and cannot combine with any other offer)

Hi. I bought tickets from Undercover Tourist. They are already linked to my MDE account. I paid $416 per ticket (plus taxes, fees) for buy four days get five. One park per day. Now the Canadian offer, I can get 7 days for $377 per ticket. Do i have any options here to add days? I don't imagine I would be eligible for any type of refund, since I bought through someone other than Disney, but it would sure be nice to be able to add a couple of days.

ETA: I am staying at Pop Starting on Friday, December 6. Original ticket was to start on the 7th. If it's possible, I would like to add 2 days for before, and would be staying offsite. I know that changes my fastpass booking options, but those additional first two days would likely not require fastpass booking anyway, as we would just be going to World Showcase.

Your guesses are correct. You must purchase a full priced package (hotel and tickets) to get free dining. The tickets are final sale, but you may upgrade them. I have found it cheaper to get hotel plus ticket discounts and pay meals OPP than free dining. I like table service meals, but tips are extra for free dining and they add up. Also there is less flexibility with free dining to us. Sometimes we would be interested in trying the appetizers instead of the main entrees. We did Deluxe free dining once and there was too much food. Having appetizer and dessert every meal was too much. No more free dining for us now!

I just got off the phone with Disney, I had to cancel the tickets I had already bought and repurchase the CAD discounted tickets. I did not lose my fast passes and gained $415.16 CAD 😁

That's what they did for me as well, but we don't book FPs for another month :)

On second thought, you might be able to upgrade the Canadian tickets to regular tickets for the free dining.

anyone else having trouble with the app? I had no trouble until I linked my Canadian tickets and now it crashes every time I open the ticket tab. Same for the rest of my family. This is for Disneyland.

Just spent almost 40 min on the phone (thank you 1-888 number!!!) to see if I could apply the Canadian ticket offer to our existing Free Dining package. She tried! She really tried!! Went to her higher ups and it was a no-go. Can't combine two offers - I could cancel free dining and to get the Canadian offer, but can't have two promos. Worth a try! We chose to keep our free dining.

Yeah, that's the thing with free dining, the package has non-discounted tickets, period. However if you had a room only reservation there would have been no problem combining that with the ticket offer.

I need to order Disney tickets asap but I'm not seeing the discount on the Air Miles site, so I just put in a personal shopper request for non-flex tickets for my exact dates hoping the quote reflects the Canadian discount.

If you dont mind, can you please report back how many Air Miles they quite you? TIA!

I'll be staying at a DVC Studio at the end of April so I'll definitely be taking advantage of this. Usually I get my tickets from Undercover but I will probably be getting at least a 9 day hopper since I will be there for 2 weeks, so best to just buy direct from Disney.

Has anyone been successful in booking this a a package with just the $200 deposit?

Sorry about the lateness of this. My agent just got back to me.

Yep, can be booked in a regular package with $200usd deposit and all the fine print that goes with it. (can cancel up to 30 days for a full refund etc).

Just booked my vacation for Sept next year.

Just saw on the FB Air Miles group that the discounted CDN tickets are up!! 5 and 7 days available. Adults: 4725 or 4850 respectively. Child tickets: 4545 or 4675

Still waiting for my personal shopper quotes on the non-flex tickets. Regular and hopper. :)

I bought these Canadian Resident tickets; 1 day per park. If I wanted to upgrade to park hoppers could I? And if so can I do that over the phone or only at Guest Services in person?

Thanks
