Cass, Rob & Kira - 10 nights at Universal Orlando August 2019 - "It's a sniffler!!"

I looks like your early Entry was a success at how many rides you accomplished including the water rides !!!! You sure did get soaked...but how fun is that!!!!

Those sandwiches look divine. My dream job would be to travel around the taste test burgers and sandwiches!!!!! I love a good burger or sandwich. I LOVE Chachis at Cross Iron Mills mall. I dream of those sandwiches between visits to visit the dd. It is just soooo good!!!!

Volcano Bay and even just the pool and lazy river at Cabana way look sooo relaxing. Going for a quick dip at night is just the way to finish off a day!!!

Can't wait to hear more!!!!

Awesome end to a long and fun day!!

Haha love it....payback is fun when water is involved :lmao: :lmao:

mmmmm.....is there anything better than biting into a delicious slice after a busy, fun day? Perfection!!

Oh and as far as my Alaska TR goes , well we fly out on Friday morning to NY for our Magic cruise so.......oops :headache: I suppose I could still start it, but I wouldn't get very far :rotfl2:

I’ve been lurking and enjoying your trip report. A good trip report does at least two things: conveys some useful information to help others plan AND makes you want to go on the trip! Your report is doing both. I definitely need to get the family back to Universal! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the kind words

Finally caught up.
I want Waffle House, Cracker Barrel and Ice-cream right now. Thanks!

It's so nice you got to take a leisurely pace each day. I need a vacation like that. My job might take me to Universal in Jan and I really need to get back to Orlando! I looked at annual pass prices just to see and they aren't bad really. I might have to think that one over.

Honestly, that was the best part of this vacation, we didn't feel the need to rush like we do at Disney. ::yes::

Our AP's cost less than the 5-day p2p tickets, definitely a good value and I will be using mine again in February :thumbsup2

Oh my goodness, that was epic!!! Love it, you guys are hilarious!!!

And jeez those sammies look super tasty!!!

I don't know about epic but we always try to have a good time. :rotfl2:

Those sammies were freaking delicious, I want one NOW!!

Pretty cool tip about the Leaky Cauldron. I'm not really into Harry Potter but last October I had the chance to visit London and we went to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour and it was so cool. The people I went with are huge fans. You guys don't take off your glasses on attractions? I always take mine off, if I lost them, I'd be in trouble since I'm blind as a bat. Sandwiches looked soooo good, especially the patty melt.

One day we will do that tour!!

No, glasses stay on, we never have had an issue. Kira is also blind as a bat so she wouldn't be able to see and enjoy the ride. Rob wears RX sunglasses as his eyes are very sensitive to the light but both of them have a back up pair of glasses that we bring on every trip, just in case :thumbsup2

Rob also carries straps for both of them just in case but we've never needed them.

We got so much done that day but the heat was horrendous, much prefer the evenings. ::yes::

Ohhh that sounds like my dream job too! We have a Chachis about 10 minutes from us but I've never tried it. Maybe when I am off keto, I will go try it. :goodvibes

VB and the lazy river at CB are both very awesome!! :worship:

Awesome end to a long and fun day!!

Oh man! Okay, well have a great cruise and then come back and write TWO trip reports. :rolleyes1:rotfl2:

Totally enjoyable reporting
Wish it would go on forever!

Thank you :blush::blush::blush:

August 29th, Part 1

Yet again, we woke to the lovely, peaceful sounds of a babbling brook.....

😏

Since we were awake....

487.jpg

Rob and I had another date with Keke 🥰

488.jpg

489.jpg

Upon our return to the room, we found our child in her native habitat...in bed, attached to a device with a screen. 😜

rob19.jpg

Shortly after, Rob took her to get her usual at Bayliner Diner. I told him to let her do everything herself. 😉

rob20.jpg

490.jpg

Today was a scorcher, no surprise there, so there was no way I was going to be heading into a park until around 5pm. Kira was a little restless so I suggested that they took this day to visit the parks with their wands that they had bought in 2017 and do some spells, maybe do some shopping. :thumbsup2

Notice Kira's wand? :rolleyes1:rotfl2:

rob21.jpg

She ended up convincing her dad to buy this shirt for her. Wrapped around her little finger! :rotfl:

rob22.jpg

They had some problems with their wands. Apparently the tips were cracked or something and they just weren't working. They ended up at Ollivanders to get Kira's tip repaired so she could cast some spells.

rob23.jpg

rob24.jpg

Can you take a guess as to where they ended up at? :rolleyes1

The lines are slightly longer during the day.

rob25.jpg

And with a souvenir to bring home. :rolleyes2

rob26.jpg

rob27.jpg

rob28.jpg

It was super hot and Kira was getting a little grumpy so I hopped on a bus and met them for dinner...

rob29.jpg

rob30.jpg

491.jpg

492.jpg

This is also a place we just never got to eat at before due to time constraints so we were all excited to try it finally!

I got the the totchos, which were delish!

493.jpg

We got the chocolate almond bread to share which was amazing!! :worship:

494.jpg

Rob got the salmon which he LOVED!

495.jpg

And Kira got the kids pasta, which I didn't think she would care for but ended up loving!!

Definitely a big hit with all of us and we will definitely come back on our next trip!

496.jpg

No dessert for us but next time for sure!

497.jpg

Kira and I browsed the shop while Rob headed over to the Studios to rent a locker for their wands and purchases. Then he met us back here and then we headed off to IOA together. :cool1:

I still have to watch all the HP movies after the first one, but I do know what Kira's "Waiting on a Letter" t-shirt meant! WHooo hoooo!

Rob didn't have an extra hand to show his count for the BB's. What's he going to do when he hits over 10? :worship:

Looking at that pic of RRR, someone needs to tell Rob to lighten up a bit when he's on vacation. Whahahahahaha!!:dance3:

Oooooh, those sammies at the Bread Box look absolutely delicious.

Loved the payback video. My son scares me all the time and I love paying him back too. I particularly loved the picture of Kira after the scare. :lmao:

Are those desserts at the Chocolate Emporium for real? They look absolutely humongous! :rotfl2:

OMG now I have Toothsome on my must do list for our trip in November. I have to have one of those milkshakes.

August 29th, Part 2

It was time to get our IOA groove on. :cool1:

498.jpg

We begin with a quick spin on Spidey :charac4:

499.jpg

ride29.jpg

Then we walked over to Hogsmeade, of course!

This path in Seuss Landing was getting very familiar to us by now :earboy2:::yes::

I decided to stop and check out the Sneetches playing in the water. ;)

500.jpg

501.jpg

I love how even the plants they use here are odd :worship:

502.jpg

And I peeked at the construction of the roller coaster...not much progress. :scratchin

503.jpg

Rob had gotten us a return time for Hagrid's earlier that day. :goodvibes

509.jpg

504.jpg

505.jpg

This lady was fun to ride with, it was her first time and she didn't really like coasters. She loved the ride but she said it was almost too much for her. :rotfl2:

Oh and I finally remembered to pose for the camera ✌🤣

ride30.jpg

And so did my family 😂

ride31.jpg

We decided to ride Flight of the Hippogriff next :thumbsup2

506.jpg

The sky looked mesmerizing :lovestruc

507.jpg

rob31.jpg

We took Hogwarts Express over to the other side. 🚂

rob32.jpg

We rode Rip Ride Rockit and then Kira and Rob went to watch Cinematic Spectacular. I hoofed it on over to the bridge between Simpsons and London so I could time-lapse the show from there.
running.gif

ride32.jpg

I told them I would meet them in front of the Horror Make Up Show, so they grabbed a bench and waited for me to hoof it back.
running.gif

rob33.jpg

I spotted my fam and then we headed back to the hotel.

508.jpg

This was the day that a whole bunch of youth sports groups had checked into Cabana Bay. They were everywhere. 😮

August 30th, Part 1

Today Rob and Kira would be heading out to Kennedy Space Center while I had some alone time.

They got up at 7am, got showered and ready for the day and then kissed me good-bye. :love1:

I laid in bed until the music bothered me enough to get up. I showered and got dressed and then headed off on my own.

510.jpg

511.jpg

I had two exactly two goals for today, eat at Bread Box again and get a return time for Hagrid's. Lofty goals, eh? :lmao:

I had checked the website to see what time BB would open that day and it said 10:30am so I made sure I went directly there....I was their first customer that day. :p

512.jpg

513.jpg

My fabulous hot turkey....:worship::love:

514.jpg

Once I filled my belly, I headed over to the Studios just to walk around a bit. It was so hot and I knew I wouldn't last long but it was a good time to check out the stuff that I never have time to check out when we're all together. ::yes::

515.jpg

516.jpg

I watched these guys for a bit.

517.jpg

And met up with Doc, who is hilarious!!

518.jpg

I wandered through the stores...

519.jpg

And look what I found...The Fly pods from the old Horror Make Up Show! :cool1: These were on the stage when I first saw it back in 1993! :thumbsup2

520.jpg

I found the Annual Pass Lounge, which has very limited hours so I went to see if I could get my magnet and button.

521.jpg

They were out of the buttons but I got me a magnet :goodvibes

522.jpg

Not much to the lounge really, it's a place to sit and charge your devices and buy a coke. 😏

523.jpg

When I got back outside, Marilyn was putting on a show for me. She must have been bored. 😜

524.jpg

Movie prop shop, yes please!!

525.jpg

526.jpg

Do you kids know what these are???? 🤣

527.jpg

Since Kira didn't get to see Optimus Prime, I grabbed a photo of him for her. 😎

528.jpg

Yeah, I kinda liked this shirt. :lmao:

529.jpg

I crossed the street and headed into more stores...

One of my absolute favourite movies evah!!! :lovestruc

530.jpg

531.jpg

I thought about getting a butter beer ice cream for a split second but I was too full and I could never finish a whole ice cream by myself so I headed into King's Cross Station instead.

532.jpg

533.jpg

I went directly to Hagrid's and got a return time. When I asked if I could get a return time for 6pm, she was extremely shocked and more than happy to do it. :rotfl:

I perused inside all the stores that I hadn't been to yet.

This was the best thing I had seen all day! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

The shirt says it all, really. :rolleyes1

I especially love the fanny pack as a necklace.

534.jpg

SO TRUE!! :lovestruc

535.jpg

I realized that I hadn't even taken a pic of this yet...I'm not even sure if Kira saw this! :confused3

536.jpg

And then I had remembered that there was something cool at the back of Mythos so I went and took a photo of it to show my kid later.

537.jpg

And I also got a closer look at the roller coaster construction...

538.jpg

And I took this photo because we passed by it SO many times during our trip and it made me think of my kiddo. When you walk by this area, there is a voice that says "Q is for quan, quan is for quandary" and the first time we passed it, Kira asked me what quandary meant and then every time we went by (it was a whole lot of times during the entire trip!) we would talk about that word. :goodvibes

So of course, now I am going to think about this trip and my kid every single time I walk past it now. :flower:

539.jpg

It was ridiculously hot and I needed to cool down so I stepped into Confisco's to get some much-needed water and shade. :thumbsup2

540.jpg

541.jpg

And then I headed back to City Walk, where some weather was definitely headed this way. ::yes::

542.jpg

This walk, while not so bad the first few times, became longer and sooooo repetitive by the end. :rolleyes2 I vowed to stay at the Hard Rock Hotel next time. THAT place is fabulous!!

And they play LOTS of awesome music, just not right outside your window...at 8:15am 😶

543.jpg

A few days before we got here, they had changed the area where Uber/Lyft picks up their passengers. Apparently, people are not liking it. 😏

544.jpg

I rode a wonderfully, almost-empty, air-conditioned, bus back to the room. 😎

And I peeked at the construction of the roller coaster...not much progress.

Ok, I usually keep up on Universal stuff...but I am not remembering a new coaster coming. Is it in Jurassic Park/World?

I love how you can take your time each day. That would be amazing, but my husband thinks he will turn into a pumpkin if gone too long.

I'm really enjoying your trip report! We got to ride Hagrid's in June, and my son and I loved it! It was way too intense for my husband and daughter though. I can't believe you got to ride it so many times! We were there on the second day it was open, and we waited 9 hours to ride it😱

Some fun updates. Love the pecker tshirt :rotfl2: we have stayed at the Hard Rock a few times and we love it. It's sooo much fun and you're right, the music is cool.

She was definitely not happy with her dad for a few minutes LOL 😂

Yeah, they are known for their desserts, craziness! 🤪

We didn't have any more ice creams

OMG now I have Toothsome on my must do list for our trip in November. I have to have one of those milkshakes.

People go crazy over them so they must be good. ::yes::

Awesome updates! What is the new coaster they are building btw?

It's supposed to be a good one

See link above ;)

Rob is also a workaholic but he would gladly stay the entire summer with me to visit theme parks, watch storms and eat at Keke's :earboy2:

Oh gosh, yeah waiting 9 hours is not something I am willing to do!! The lines were down to 90-120 mins by the time we went and if I didn't get my pass, I don't think I would have ridden it, as I couldn't wait that long in the heat or even stand that long in the line. :scared:

I am enjoying your trip report! I love all the pictures. :)

Thanks for reading and commenting :flower:

[/QUOTE]

I loooooove the Hard Rock, for soooo many reasons  I am hoping to spend a few days there in February for a work thing. 🤞🤞🤞

Sorry for the lack of updates, dealing with some personal stuff this week. Going to work on one now. :thumbsup2

August 30th, Part 2

I got back to the room and wanted to check to make sure Rob and Kira were okay. I took some screenshots because I knew Rob would smile at seeing their little pics in one of his favourite places. :goodvibes

545.jpg

546.jpg

Dorian was all over the news as it was then forecasted to hit Orlando in the next few days. They were cancelling school and the airport was closing on Monday! :scared: We were leaving on Sunday so it looked as though we would be getting out just in time!

547.jpg

549.jpg

I chilled for the next few hours, watching TV.

548.jpg

Kira and Rob enjoyed their KSC day and while he took about six billion photos, here are just a few that I have edited :rolleyes1

rob34.jpg

rob35.jpg

Vacation hair...don't care :rotfl2:

rob36.jpg

rob37.jpg

They got to see the Crawler in action...Rob was super thrilled about that. ::yes::

rob38.jpg

rob39.jpg

rob40.jpg

rob41.jpg

rob42.jpg

Atlantis was the one shuttle launch he got to see, back in 2011. It was the final launch ever so I'm glad I made him go. ::yes::

rob43.jpg

rob44.jpg

There's so much I love about this photo....

rob45.jpg

I waited until they got back and then we headed out to the parks so we could use that return time for Hagrid's. :cool1:

550.jpg

Rob was chatting with one of the TM's about Dueling Dragons and he told him a very awesome detail that I hadn't read about before. He said in the room with Hagrid's gloves, there were some tubes that contained paint chips from the old tracks before they were dismantled. It was a very cool and very subtle nod to Dueling Dragons. We spotted what I think was them...

551.jpg

552.jpg

Here's that test vehicle that I told you about earlier...

553.jpg

And in the loud room, Rob was checking the decibel levels like the true wonderful geek that he is :rotfl:

554.jpg

Now, remember when I told you about how they load this ride, how you have to stay where they put you in order to load properly? Well, the chick that was paired up with Rob was not having it. She was in the single rider line and was trying to keep up and ride with the rest of her family that were now way ahead of her so she kept trying to go in front of all three of us (and the party in front of us too) but Kira and I were first and then she was supposed to be behind us, riding with Rob. We tried to explain it to her nicely but she ignored us and pretended she didn't speak English. So finally the ride attendant saw what she was doing and told her she had to stay back there with Rob and just like that, she spoke English pixiedust: :lmao:

555.jpg

And so now that we know where the camera is, you just know you're going to see us in cheesy poses :rotfl2:

ride33.jpg

ride34.jpg

Since we had skipped dinner, we decided to head on over to the Studios so we could have dinner and dessert. 😋🤣

She couldn't even wait for a photo before she partook in her butter beer :rotfl2:

557.jpg

558.jpg

559.jpg

Not even butter beer ice cream can get her off her phone apparently 🤪

560.jpg

561.jpg

Quick photo op before we leave...

562.jpg

They were taking down some of the HHN stuff in order to prepare for Dorian.

563.jpg

Another quick photo stop as we herded back to the hotel.

564.jpg

Back to the room where I got changed for some pool time! Rob joined me poolside to read his news.

Kira didn't feel like joining me, it had been a long day for her. Just as well because the pools were filled to the brim with teenager sport teams. 😕

I was able to avoid them a little in the lazy river because I would just hang on to the edge of the pool and let them all pass.

rob46.jpg

The hot tub, on the other hand, was too busy to enjoy. This was just before it closed...still packed! 😦

rob47.jpg

Well, that was fun....not :crazy2:

Before I end this chapter, I want to share a story that was meant to be shared the day before...my bad!! :rolleyes2

When we were resting in our room on the previous day, Kira and I were chatting about things that she had seen in the parks over the week that she had planned to purchase that day. She was making a mental list so she would remember everything when she hit up the parks with her dad to finally spend her money. We remembered that she had wanted a stuffy from the Magical Menagerie store but we couldn't remember the name. With my Lupus, I often forget my words. It's never something big or fancy, just plain, normal words like owl or chair. My brain just blacks out the name and I just can't find it. When Kira is with me, it's easier because I can just say the name in French and she will say the English name for me. It's super frustrating for me because my brain just doesn't want to work properly.

So, Kira was also blanking on his name but I told her that I would remember it eventually. So before they left, we were chatting on the bed together and out of nowhere I blurted out "It's a SNIFFLER!!"

To which Kira laughed at and replied "You mean a Niffler mom!" :rolleyes2

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

When I realized my mistake, I decided that I like my version better so for the rest of the trip and probably until the end of time, Kira's Niffler stuffy is now known and Sniffler :lmao:

August 31st, Part 1

I forgot to mention that while Rob and Kira were at KSC the day before, I had gone to the front desk to speak to Manny, the manager that I had spoken to earlier since he hadn't bothered to get back to me like he said he would. He wasn't there so I spoke to another manager, a real gem, if you know what I mean. 💩

I told him about the music thing and what Manny said. I told him that it did not get better, it was the same dang thing every single morning at 8:15am. He said that the only noise complaints they ever get is from the rooms super close to the main building and from Volcano Bay. A quick look on Trip Advisor tells me he's lying :sad2:

Basically, he told me that it was MY problem and that I was overly sensitive. 😲

I told him that none of the cleaning had been done and that we've only received housekeeping twice. One full-on service and once where they left us clean towels, didn't touch the beds or garbage and took the tip I left them. He apologized for that and said that was not the norm and proceeded to ask me when a good time for them to come that day to get the room clean for us. I told him that we would be leaving around 5pm and be gone all night.

When we got back to the room that night at 10pm, our room hadn't been touched. 😶

Today, blissfully, was the very last time that we were woken up at 8:15am with the loud music. Tomorrow we would be up before that and on our way to the airport to head home. I don't think I have ever been so happy to be going home. 🥺

Dorian was now a Category 4 Hurricane and by the afternoon, it would become a Category 5. 😥

565.jpg

It had been raining on and off since yesterday afternoon, nothing major, just some sprinkles now and again.

566.jpg

We enjoyed our last brunch date at the lovely Keke's. We had the same server as the day before and she was happy we came back. She was pretty awesome. :thumbsup2

567.jpg

His last Florida waffle for some time...

568.jpg

It was delicious! 😋

Mine was equally good, so good in fact, I didn't take a photo of it. LOL!

When we got back to the room, Kira got dressed and then Rob took her to get her chicken strips. He texted me saying the Diner was FULL of teenagers and the line was probably about 30 minutes or more. I suggested that he check out the Hideaway Grill near the pool and sure enough, it was empty. :thumbsup2

569.jpg

When she was done we headed over to Disney Springs. We had three goals here today, to meet up with my friend and boss, Michelle, to replace my purple tea cup mug that I had purchased at Disneyland in May and broke two weeks later  and to have a Dole Whip or three. :rolleyes1

570.jpg

rob48.jpg

We checked out the WOD store while waiting on Michelle.

571.jpg

572.jpg

573.jpg

574.jpg

575.jpg

576.jpg

And then we found her :goodvibes

577.jpg

We walked over to Marketplace Co-Op...

578.jpg

And we got some Dole Whips. Rob had to step away to take a call so we just got the one to share...

579.jpg

But when he got back, he went and grabbed two more. :rotfl2:

580.jpg

We had a good visit with Michelle. We walked around and checked out some stores, did lots of gabbing and then we hugged and said our goodbyes until February when I would see her again.

I'm so glad she finally got to meet Rob and Kira! I've known her since 2005, before Kira was even born and this was the first time they had ever met.

It was soooooo hot, we were all dying!!! 🔥 My face is all red and sweaty. :scared:

rob49.jpg

When we got back to the room, to our utter shock and surprise, housekeeping had actually cleaned our room. :cool1:

Oh look, it's a sniffler! :p

581.jpg

Well, "clean" is a relative term, right? :rolleyes1

582.jpg

I can't believe you are winding down already!
So nice to get a little magic in at Disney Springs

August 31st, Part 2

We relaxed a bit before heading back to the parks for our final night. The bus that picked us up was a coach bus, which was weird but very comfortable. 🥴

583.jpg

For his final t-shirt compliment challenge, Rob pulled out the big guns...his original Dueling Dragons shirt from 1999. Ladies and gentleman, he was not kidding around this evening, he was about to blow his previous record out of the water. 🤣

584.jpg

A kind guest offered to take a photo of the three of us...

585.jpg

And then we got blinded by the (flash) light and got another one...🤪

I was so used to wearing my racer back tank tops to the park but had discovered they were all dirty so I just used the shirt that I had worn earlier in the day but I had already changed my bra to match the racer back and regretted it photo-wise. Comfort-wise and ride-wise, I was happy because that sucker held the girls in nice and tight, if you know what I mean. 😜

ride40.jpg

We had decided we wanted another round at Mythos since both Rob and I had ordered poorly the last time. 😚

586.jpg

We checked in and waited for a table while Rob went and got us a ride time for Hagrid's.

Looking up...

587.jpg

We asked to be seated closer to the window this time. :thumbsup2

rob50.jpg

588.jpg

Beautiful view and comfy booth, we were happy :cool1:

589.jpg

We ended up with a fabulous server, very friendly. His wife (girlfriend?) was also a server at the restaurant and was working nearby. He told us a few stories and gave Kira a whole ton of colouring pages :rotfl2:

590.jpg

Then he brought us some bread, which I didn't even touch because I wanted to have room for my food.

591.jpg

And he gave Kira this little WWOHP owl keychain that he had purchased at a special TM discount sale.

592.jpg

I didn't think she would actually colour anything but she did. :p

We had all ordered the beef medallions and all three had arrived overcooked. Kira was so hungry, she didn't care, she just ate hers right away but our server insisted that they redo ours because they were way overdone, especially Rob's.

We waited a little bit before he returned with two more, they were actually still overdone but we insisted on eating them this time. They were still delicious!

Our dinner had taken a lot longer than we thought it would. Our original plan was now hopeless and we were running out of time before the parks closed. We narrowed it down to three things that were non-negotiable; Hagrid's, Butter Beer Ice Cream and Rip Ride Rocket. We weren't sure if we had time for everything but I was hopeful. :goodvibes

So, here we go...our last ride on our beloved Hagrid's.:sad::sad:

Wooo hooo!!!

I let my kiddo have the bike since it was our final ride.

In the very few hours we had spent in the parks that evening, Rob broke his record and ended up with over 35 compliments about his shirt. The best one, by far though, came as we were getting off of Hagrid's where a TM spotted his shirt and loved it so much that they said we could ride it again, no waiting!! :woohoo:

That's my man!!! :lovestruc

They told us to make a right at the child swap area and then they used their radio headset to call to the TM standing there to let us in. :dance3:

Kira was pretty thrilled and was totally okay, at this point, that Rob was way ahead of her in the compliment challenge. ::yes:::rotfl2:

Oddly enough, she had received quite a few compliments on her Stitch shirt.

We waited only a minute to get back on the ride and off we went. Rob was kind to offer the bike to this guy who was riding it for the first time. Usually when you use the single rider line, you have to ride the side car since the person from the regular line gets to choose and the bike is definitely a lot more fun. :thumbsup2

This would be our most memorable spin on this ride as we actually got stuck on it for about 10 minutes.

It was kind of neat though because as we were rounding the corner backwards, and slightly sideways, our car started to lose speed and we came to a slow crawl and then very slowly went all the way forward again to this spot...where we noticed the other car was stopped across from us and we were waiving at each other. :rotfl:

This was the perfect spot to grab a photo of the Weasley car but the zoom on my phone is not very good.

The people around us, who were riding it for the first time, were full of questions since they didn't know what to expect. We waited here in this spot for about 10 minutes before the ride started up again.

When we were done, they were offering us all the chance to ride again, without wait so we could have pulled off three rides in a row but we had other things to do and we were running out of time now so we opted to just leave.

Since our photos from that first spin were taken about 15 minutes ago now, we thought they would be lost so we posed the same way this second ride as the first but they were actually able to find photos from both of our rides. :thumbsup2

Why did the muggles cross on the Hogwarts Express?

To get to the other side, of course....so they can have their last butter beer ice cream of this trip. :rotfl2:

Farewell Hagrid! We will see you again. :wave2:

Our last two!

We ate our ice creams on the walk over to RRR and made it just in time...we walked on the ride just a few minutes before they closed it for the night. :worship:

Kira was a little miffed because I was going to ride it with her and Rob was going to ride it with the single rider behind us but as we approached the ride, we realized that her and I had gotten the front row. Just like Hagrid's, this ride is constantly loading and you don't have control of what row you get so it was only by extreme luck that we got the front row but she did NOT want to ride the front so at the very last minute, before she could even protest, Rob switched lines with her so we could ride the front together.

Rob and I were thrilled but Kira wasn't. :rolleyes1

We all had a great final ride though, perfect ending to a great night. :cloud9:
