A Salute to all things Disney, but mostly Magic Bars; a July 4th 2019 TR*update 11/28 new TR link!

That is very exciting to have the VIP tour. And it should be nice weather, too, for your six day trip. :)

Thanks for posting the pictures from Universal. I haven't seen pictures of the Halloween event before.

Therefore my park time will be limited to MNSSHP on the 24th - anyone going??

Oo we're going to MNSSHP on the 24th!

I GET TO DO A VIP TOUR ON THE 28TH!!!!

Wow that's amazing!!

ot only that but whoever designs the layout for HHN either gets stoned beforehand or is a cruel, cruel person because regardless of what house you exit the walk back to civilization - or at least the entrance to the nearest house - takes forever.

This is the most accurate thing I ever read lol. The first year I did HHN in 2016, I didn't know that at all so we "rope dropped" the parks all the way through to HHN and by midnight, I just could not walk another step.

I mentioned a pet peeve and it was that the TM's rushed us through the houses and I really would have liked to be able to look at the detail a bit more!

Yup this is my pet peeve too! There's so much detail that I want to look at and can't but it also is what takes out the scare factor. The scariest haunted houses I've been to around here are ones that put you through in small groups because you can't anticipate what's coming.

I'm wondering if the houses are in any way handicap accessible and have been meaning to check that out......

I think I've read that they're wheelchair but not ECV accessible so if you're in an ECV you have to switchover to a regular wheelchair.

First of all, have fun on the VIP tour. I'm sure it will be amazing.

And for your HHN reviews...sound pretty accurate to me. We have only been once and only via the RIP tour which I can say was awesome...though pricey. I also couldn't believe how long of a walk it was to get to the houses and when we saw the lines last year we thought the same thing...no way would we do this the regular way. Our RIP tour guide was able to get us through all of the houses AND the scare zones AND we sat in the Academy of Villians show which honestly I wasn't fond of, but maybe because it was super hot and sitting on those benches in the crowd was not fun at all. We did get a few stops for bathroom and food/drink breaks though at least, and did get to start and end with our own food buffet, plus having our guide give us background about each house was nice too. Most of the time going through the houses I ended up right behind the guide with the rest of our group behind us...and yes we did go through quite quickly which was fine with me. I do like being able to take our time going through the houses though but I also don't know if we will feel we HAVE to do all of them...and we are going on a weeknight and not a weekend which I'm hoping will help in terms of crowds.

I'm looking forward to spending a little more time in the scare zones this trip because I think I enjoy those more and it was hard to enjoy them on a tour because I was constantly making sure we weren't losing our guide. I think I'll be okay if we don't get to all of the houses because yes, for the most part, it's same stuff different rooms but agreed the makeup is excelllent and there are always a few cool elements in some of the houses to enjoy.

https://www.nightmaresfearfactory.com/
Its called Nightmares! I put the link - their scare pictures are always posted because they are so funny!

Its in a tourist area called Clifton Hill right near Niagara Falls but on the Canadian side (literally just over the bridge from us - we spent many weekends in this area since drinking age is 19 and we could just walk across the bridge to cross the border! haha)

If you ever make a trip to see Niagara Falls it would be something to do then! And if you do let us know since we're right there! (Also, don't you have friends in Lewiston? haha)

Here's the deal with the houses from my POV. They aren't scary :duck:Yes if you don't like jump scares then you probably won't like this and if you don't like seeing anything resembling blood/gore you won't like it either. The houses.............were neat. I mentioned a pet peeve and it was that the TM's rushed us through the houses and I really would have liked to be able to look at the detail a bit more! The insides were truly amazing as far as the detail and thought and design that went in to them; they fit the theme they were supposed to to a T. Dracula's section in Classic Monsters and pretty much all of Graveyard Games stand out as areas I wanted to really look at what they did but you had to move so fast you couldn't. The TM's inside the housese were constantly flailing their hands at you telling you to move along .
The houses that were after movies put you in the movie and the Universal originals were also great. House of 1000 Corpses was my fave inside. It's also the only one I thought I might get scared in so I started out holding Steve's hand even though it was like the 6th house we'd done but soon let go lol. The music added to the fun there! Overall the only real "scares" were the actors jumping out at you but keep in mind they aren't allowed to touch you. Thing is after a couple houses you pretty much could figure out where in the house they'd be! Around corners, jumping out of open "windows", anywhere there was a "doorway" with no door and almost anywhere a TM was standing lol. 👻 So I would just expect it and when they jumped out I'd laugh and smile at them which probably pissed them off 😂 I did get "got" once in the Yeti house so that made Steve happy! I also got mad there because there's a scene where a Yeti sticks his arm right through a guy and I had walked by already when he did it so only Steve saw it :headache:

Here's the other thing that got me about the houses; they're all the same. Yeah I didn't realize this! Again not sure what I expected but I didn't think they'd be the same- go in, walk through, actors jump out. Exit :confused3 So as excited as I was to still see some of the houses we left until the end it was rather monotonous.

Thank you for the review of HHN! I'm so glad you had a great night!!

I GET TO DO A VIP TOUR ON THE 28TH!!!!
Woohoo! :woohoo:

The other days this trip that we were at Disney we averaged 7-9.5 miles a day while during HHN alone we did 13 miles!
:scared1: On those types of days, I give myself permission to eat 5 desserts throughout the day instead of 4 :snooty:

Well FYI between 6:30 and midnight we did all 10 houses, all 6 scare zones, both shows, and ate twice lol. EP was a lifesaver!
Wow! EP sure was a lifesaver - I'll have to keep that in mind on the unlikely chance I ever do HHN

So I would just expect it and when they jumped out I'd laugh and smile at them which probably pissed them off 😂
:rotfl:

This one was super fun and we stayed for like 30 minutes. It's also where we saw Raeven @Raeven and Samantha @xlsm
Awesome!

A blurry YAY for more '80s!!
I :lovestruc anything 80s :thumbsup2

The scare factor: this isn't recommend (by Universal) for kids under 14 and I can see why. Chris at 13 would be fine but Ricky at 17 would have been out of there after our first house :rotfl:
Or maybe even Tracy at 37 :rolleyes1:rotfl:

I GET TO DO A VIP TOUR ON THE 28TH!!!!
WOOHOOO!!!! So excited for you and not at all the last bit jealous :earboy2:

That's what I know so far other than that we're touring all the WDW resorts as well as the GN ones!
GN???? Great Neighborhoods? Goodish Nothings? Gnarly Nights?

438986
Now you totally should have done your makeup like this for HHN

Not only that but whoever designs the layout for HHN either gets stoned beforehand or is a cruel, cruel person because regardless of what house you exit the walk back to civilization - or at least the entrance to the nearest house - takes forever. If you've been you know what I'm talking about and if you' haven't been and you go - you'll find out! The other days this trip that we were at Disney we averaged 7-9.5 miles a day while during HHN alone we did 13 miles!
That is insane. And how I can convince Casey that doing this is a horrible idea

Not scary as long as you don't like things jumping at you and blood? Pretty sure you are the only one that would define not scary that way :scared1:

Yes, not scary or disgusting at all. Exactly what I want to see when strolling through a theme park :P

t was done superbly and brought back fond memories of watching USA 'UP" All Night with Elvira when they'd show this movie and other 80's B gems like "Sorority Girls at the Slime Bowl-O-Rama :thumbsup2
Oh I so loved watching this when I was growing up. I'd have to sneak to watch it and would totally feel like I was getting away with something

The scare factor: this isn't recommend (by Universal) for kids under 14 and I can see why. Chris at 13 would be fine but Ricky at 17 would have been out of there after our first house :rotfl: BUT, if you think your kid can handle it I would stay start with the houses you've researched that seem the least scary and walk through a scare zone while it's still light. Then decide if maybe there are any houses that would be too much; it's a lot of $$ if your kid decides an hour in to it that they hate it. The shows are fine for anyone but the Academy had it's first show at 8:30 I think and the water show didn't start until 10.
Casey wants to do this, but I have a feeling she would be in the Ricky camp 🐔 Which is just fine by her mother who gets scared when Jason walks into a room and didn't know he was coming

Hey friends, popping in to say hi and please please bear with me! All of a sudden work is kicking my butt again and while I'm sincerely missing my DIS time something had to give :( Heading out to dinner and a concert now w/Steve & my SIL and BIL, tomorrow will be another loooong day of work and then hopefully I'm back to play catch up with this TR and on everyone else's 💕

Whoopie pies! The Mickey one is chocolate and Minnie was red velvet; my fave.

Oh my goodness these are precious. I love me a good whoopie pie! My mom used to make them when I was young, and I only liked to eat the chocolate cookies plain. When I grew up I realized my mistake. (Frosting = life.)

And now I give you the best of my crappy Illuminations shots; most are of the holiday tag at the end:

Ooh, the holiday tags are what I think I'm the most upset about. Hopefully they'll have some good new tags for the new shows! Speaking of which, did you watch the live stream of EPCOT Forever? I was going to wait to see it in person, but then I caved tonight and turned on the stream at the last minute.

Even worse is that by the time we got to the WL at 11:25 they were out of my Magic Bars!!! Our wonderful evening was over 😢

Aw man! Way to end a good night on a sad note! Except...

Except just walking in to the lobby of my lodge put a smile on my face and the boat ride back was so peaceful it returned the night to it's former glory lol.

...maybe not! Because this sounds lovely, and like a nice cherry on the top of a great day.

IMG_E3680.JPG

I think now Chris looks just like Eric did then lol complete with mustache 🧔

This is so cute! I totally see the resemblance - Chris is all grown up now!

IMG_2592 (1).JPG

I know Steve got a Mule that just wasn't in a copper mug but not sure what Chad got. Renee and I got a special 4th of July sangria and it was pretty good!

The special sangria for the 4th looks pretty :) Can't go wrong at the Nomad Lounge.

I love that so many of us can recognize others just from spending time here.

You had tons of great DISmeets! That so exciting!

I know some of you don't remember Billie @Elevationist as it's been a couple years since she's graced the DIS with her presence on a regular basis but her reports used to be HI-larious! And she still is ::yes:: So Steve and I were lucky enough to spend almost half our trip with her!!

I wish I'd been around to get to know Billie then through her reports, but I'm glad I'm making up for missed time now. So awesome that you spent time together on this trip :)

I despise how I look in all the pictures here but LOVE this M&G! Too bad it's going away soon................

billiemm.jpeg

You both look super cute! Maybe a little dazed...but cute!

If you are a wuss and scare easily like someone I know but won't mention names (but she was part of the EPIC trip and her a name rhymes with smelly 😘 ) you may want to skip that part

Smelly and I have this in common. :rotfl:

I skimmed through those updates peeking through my fingers! lol I know Nathan would love HHN, but there's no way I'd ever go with him.

then the coolest part:

I GET TO DO A VIP TOUR ON THE 28TH!!!!

This is amazing!! I'm soo pleased for you! I hope the owner person plans some fun things and you all have an awesome day.

Thanks for the review of HHN, I had the impression it was much scarier than what you experienced. Sounds like EP is the way to go. Congratulations on the VIP tour, I'm sure it will be amazing!!

I GET TO DO A VIP TOUR ON THE 28TH!!!!

That's awesome!

We had Express Pass and I honestly will never EVER do the party without it; it's expensive but SO worth it!

That EP is worth every penny :thumbsup2

Here's the deal with the houses from my POV. They aren't scary :duck:

Are you dead inside?

Thing is after a couple houses you pretty much could figure out where in the house they'd be! Around corners, jumping out of open "windows", anywhere there was a "doorway" with no door and almost anywhere a TM was standing

This is kind of true and probably why I hated HHN. I couldn't walk through and appreciate any of the houses because I kept waiting for the jump scares. I think you're right though, the houses themselves aren't that scary but after walking through 5-6 of them using Mike as my human shield, I couldn't take anymore.

Steve didn't mind getting up close and personal:

439019

😄

Ugh I wish I could figure out a way to do more than 10 photos per post

I finally figured this out...

Click on the little picture up in the tool bar, click the little link and insert pictures with their address. This means that when I am in Shutterfly, I right click and instead of "Copy Image," I "Copy Image Address" and insert it.

Does that make sense?

You will for sure 💕 I actually have pics of the kids at GG dinner when Chris was 11 months old and even though he doesn't remember I do! Dale sat down at our table and put Chris on his lap  And can I tell you again how absolutely thrilled I am for you guys????
That would be adorable!! Thank you!:hug:
Sounds like you had a great time at HHN!! Love all your pics!

It's the weekend and I'm giving myself a break to play catch up here! And to finally decorate for Halloween, and maybe do some laundry :headache: .....Chris's fall basketball league started last week so we have his game later and I want to binge some cool Halloween movies tonight! Hope you guys have something more exciting planned for today and I hope to have another update done asap!

Congratulations on winning a spot on the VIP Tour! I'm sure you'll love it!
I'm really excited about that! Other than touring the Disney Fantasy it's what I'm looking forward to the most :goodvibes
I have zero interest in HHN (I'm the jumpiest person EVER so people creeping out to startle me... no thank you!).
lol it's definitely not for everyone.
I do agree 100% that Express Pass at Universal is AWESOME - after using it the past two trips I think I'd have a hard time visiting Universal without it!
YES! I try to tell all my clients that but on the flip side it's expensive. We did Universal once in late August and didn't need it at all, but unless you're there during a true lower crowd time and have more than one day, EP is the way to go for sure.
That is very exciting to have the VIP tour. And it should be nice weather, too, for your six day trip. :)
I'm looking forward to it NOT being as hot and humid as our July-Aug-Sept trips!
Have you seen Rob Zombies Halloween? That’s really good too.
That one I have not seen but now it's on my list :thumbsup2
Oo we're going to MNSSHP on the 24th!
Awesome!! We will have to try and say a quick hello for sure! I don't think we're getting there until very close to 7 unfortunately as we have resort tours until 5 and then dinner, but I should know more as it gets closer to our trip and once there we're "free" lol.
This is the most accurate thing I ever read lol. The first year I did HHN in 2016, I didn't know that at all so we "rope dropped" the parks all the way through to HHN and by midnight, I just could not walk another step.
Right?? It's a good thing to know and something many probably don't realize. We'd done MK for about 3 hours beforehand so that was a good move but the next day, OMG my feet were not happy!
The scariest haunted houses I've been to around here are ones that put you through in small groups because you can't anticipate what's coming.
Steve thought we'd go through in smaller groups and I definitely think that would be better................
I'm looking forward to spending a little more time in the scare zones this trip because I think I enjoy those more and it was hard to enjoy them on a tour because I was constantly making sure we weren't losing our guide.
I can see where that would be hard, since you need to stay with your group! We walked rather slowly through the scare zones and a couple of them have like, mini stage "shows" that go on so you do need to stand still to watch lol. I hope you guys have a great time there!

Now that's my kind of weekend!!!

My fav :) I was so sad when I became a "grown up" and had to make a new email address. I so loved being metalgirljack@yahoo.com :rockband: (don't get me wrong, I still use it for those who've had it forever...including all my Disney accounts LOL)
OMG that is awesome! LOL I probably would have kept it except not for work  Did you ever see them in concert?
https://www.nightmaresfearfactory.com/
Its called Nightmares! I put the link - their scare pictures are always posted because they are so funny!

Its in a tourist area called Clifton Hill right near Niagara Falls but on the Canadian side (literally just over the bridge from us - we spent many weekends in this area since drinking age is 19 and we could just walk across the bridge to cross the border! haha)

If you ever make a trip to see Niagara Falls it would be something to do then! And if you do let us know since we're right there! (Also, don't you have friends in Lewiston? haha)
Ha ha we do so now between you being there and this haunted house we have 3 reasons to visit! That looks fantastic!
Thank you for the review of HHN! I'm so glad you had a great night!!
We really did! I'll definitely do it again; Chris is thinking he MIGHT want to do it for his birthday next year so we'll see.....
On those types of days, I give myself permission to eat 5 desserts throughout the day instead of 4 :snooty:
Seriously when you see how far you walked you don't feel as bad about what you ate!
Or maybe even Tracy at 37 :rolleyes1:rotfl:
LMAO!
WOOHOOO!!!! So excited for you and not at all the last bit jealous :earboy2:
OK well just keep in mind I don't get to choose anything so it'll be fun but I'll make sure it's not THAT fun 🤣
GN???? Great Neighborhoods? Goodish Nothings? Gnarly Nights?
Ghoulish Nymphos? Gigantic Nads?
Yes, not scary or disgusting at all. Exactly what I want to see when strolling through a theme park :P
:rotfl: but it goes with the theme!!!!! Besides you're a foodie, just look at is as Uni BBQ!
Oh I so loved watching this when I was growing up. I'd have to sneak to watch it and would totally feel like I was getting away with something
So glad someone remembers this! I lived for watching this on Saturday nights
Casey wants to do this, but I have a feeling she would be in the Ricky camp 🐔 Which is just fine by her mother who gets scared when Jason walks into a room and didn't know he was coming
I do the same thing if Ricky comes home from school and I'm upstairs, and he comes in quietly lol. All he has to do is round the corner and say hi mom and I'm on the ceiling.
I agree for Casey it's most likely too much unless she's TOTALLY in to horror movies and gore. Maybe in a few years...............you could always tell her they don't let kids in under 14?
I love me a good whoopie pie! My mom used to make them when I was young, and I only liked to eat the chocolate cookies plain. When I grew up I realized my mistake. (Frosting = life.)
Oooh those sound good! And yes on the frosting lol it's why I don't bother with cupcakes. Once the frosting is gone it's just a muffin!
I wish I'd been around to get to know Billie then through her reports, but I'm glad I'm making up for missed time now. So awesome that you spent time together on this trip :)
She's so awesome; hilarious; friendly; fun to be around. I do miss her reports and I know if she started again she'd have massive followers again! But at least now with all the recent DISmeets her name is back on the DIS quite often :cheer2:
I skimmed through those updates peeking through my fingers!
lol! I knew there'd be one or two of you!
Thanks for the review of HHN, I had the impression it was much scarier than what you experienced. Sounds like EP is the way to go
I was quite surprised at how much "less" scary it was than I thought it would be! Still so much fun and you do get the scare factor from the jumps if you want it but it's not terrifying like some reports make it sound.
Are you dead inside?
💀
This is kind of true and probably why I hated HHN. I couldn't walk through and appreciate any of the houses because I kept waiting for the jump scares. I think you're right though, the houses themselves aren't that scary but after walking through 5-6 of them using Mike as my human shield, I couldn't take anymore.
That makes sense. It did get old by the last few just because half my mind was concentrating on looking for where they're going to jump out and I was tired of not being able to enjoy the scenery inside the houses.
Sounds like you had a great time at HHN!! Love all your pics!
Thank you we did!!!
I hope you're feeling well!!

You and me both, Girl. Just trying to get caught back up after my LONG absence but slow but sure I'll get there. Loved reading your take on HHN. I'm not a big fan of gore myself, but can see some definite advantages over Disney's kinder, softer version. LOL! Looking forward to reading your next update!

Hey all! Before I get back to my updates I have some exciting news to share!
Our granddaughter came over today - just her she drove ;)

442016

I know it looks like she's about to body slam safari Mickey but she really loves him, calls him her baby and hugs him continuously. And her mouth is covered in chocolate from the chocolate covered pretzels Grams gave her 👿 Anyway while they were here they booked their very first Disney vacation!! Not only is it Hayden's but my DIL Candace's first trip:goodvibes And of course Steve and I are going! It's not until next September but I already gave Candace a list of restaurants to check out, we know what parks we're doing and how many days in each park.
And best of all we're staying at my #1 absolute favorite Disney resort of all time, the Wilderness Lodge 💕💕💕💕 Now I just have to count down the days!!!

OK, Let's get right back into 4th of July mode now, shall we??

I left off way back when with our DISmeet ending at AK with Renee @ArielSRL and family when they went back to their resort to swim and we continued our time at the park. Satisfied from our snacking at Nomad Lounge we went straight to our first fastpass at EE

441817

441821

I'm always singled out on EE because I'm the coolest member of my family 😎 This was going to be Chris's first time riding and we were surprised he'd made it this far! As you can see he made it on the ride and back with us too:

441820

And he looks like he's having fun! Or maybe bored by it all? But not as bored as Ricky is with his "I'm on a really fun ride" face that comes with every PP ride pic he's in lol.

Next up was our FOP FP followed by a viewing of Festival of the Lion King, a show all of us enjoy. Somewhere along the line I took this picture of the back of Tiffins:

441823

It's from the walkway connecting Pandora and Africa so we must have "walked this way" to attractions. Oops wrong park! We then went back to Asia for our 3rd FP because I like to make my family criss-cross the park as often as possible. This FP was for Chris for a ride we don't do that often, Kali River Rapids. Not that we don't like it but as a water ride it's usually pretty lacking. And as far as rides in AK it's just not at the top of our list. But since Chris likes it and it was July, why not?
I took a couple pictures since we don't see this that much:

442017

442018

And proceeded to not get wet at all. There was a little boy about 7 on the raft with us and he was SO excited to get soaked! And so disappointed when he got off as dry as when he got on lol. This is one I think they need to work on.......................

Now that we'd used all our FP's and it was 150 degrees outside, we were ready to move on from AK for today. I did need a little snack though so we stopped in Zuri's Sweet Shoppe so I could get the chili dark chocolate Mickey head I had gotten in Feb. Lo and behold they have stopped making this so I had to settle for an oldie but a goodie:

442019

I do love this cookie but when you're expecting a nice, spicy, solid dark chocolate treat this just isn't quite the same. Oh well, didn't stop me from eating it!

We made our way out to go back to the resort and chill for a bit as we had a rather long night ahead of us. Steve and I had done DAH at HS back in January, had a great experience with really low wait times, and were now taking the kids to it again! Ricky and I love TOT and Chris really enjoys TSM so we thought it would be a hit and we'd avoid the scorching daytime weather.

We didn't have dinner plans until we were waiting for FOTLK when we got on the app to see what we wanted. We ended up booking a restaurant we'd eaten at back in 2014 and had a great experience at:

442021

We ate dinner here on arrival night in 2014 during our first stay at CSR. Chris had what he thought was the best steak ever here. I did tell him the menu had changed but it still looked really good to all of us, so we Lyfted over there for a 6:00 reservation knowing it would work fine to get in to HS at 8:30.

I started with a Mexican sangria:

442022

which I did not like at all and was a little foreshadowing to my meal unfortunately. Read on for more!

CONTINUED FROM LAST POST

While I was not a fan of my food, the rest of the family really enjoyed theirs. For starters I had this:

Empanada de Barbacoa
Two Empanadas filled with Barbacoa Beef, topped with Chipotle Sauce, Crema Mexicana and Queso Fresco

442024

I love empandas but these were not tasty. They were dry even with everything on top and the meat didn't have much taste. I hoped my entree was better:

Pollo a las Rajas
Organic Chicken Breast with Onions, Red Peppers, Corn, Ancho Crusted Fingerling Potatoes, Poblano Pepper Cream Sauce, and Queso Fresco

442025

Does that look good? Because it wasn't. At all. The bacon was raw, the chicken was fatty, the rest was just a gooey mess. The one saving grace was I had subbed the fingerling potatoes for a different side:

Roasted Poblano Potatoes Gratin

442026

And these were so good I ate the whole little bowl which was then basically my dinner along with the rice and beans served with the dish which were good. Ricky got a really good caesar salad and the same chicken dish with no bacon and he thought his was fine; I tasted his chicken and it was much better so he was happy. Ugh I was not and I was disappointed because I love Mexican food.

You gotta see what Chris got:

Hand-cut Rib-Eye
24-oz Aged Bone-In Rib-Eye Grilled and served with Poblano Gratin Potatoes, Esquites and Seasonal Vegetables sauced with a Guajillo Butter
BEFORE:

442028

and AFTER:

442029

There's even a few less veggies! Needless to say he thought this was the bomb and said we can return whenever we want.

Steve was a happy camper too between his app and entree:

Camarones
Tempura Rock Shrimp, Avocado Mousse, Mezcal Aïoli, Black Sesame Seeds served on Corn Tostada

442030

Pescado a la Veraruzana
Fresh Caught Snapper served Veracruz-style with Roasted Tomatoes, Peppers, Onions, Garlic, Capers and Olives served with Cilantro White Rice

442031

Everything looks good except mine! Well the empanadas look good they just weren't lol. Because I love Mexican food I would give this another try, especially since everyone else enjoyed it. But it was a disappointing meal for me and I knew I'd be hungry later since all we'd have at AH was ice cream and popcorn!
We skipped dessert because it had taken a bit for us to be seated and I wanted to get there for 8:30 so we could try watching the show they used to have for a short time (still have?) Cinema something? I know it's bad I can't remember what it was but it's the one that had all the projections of Disney movies. The kids had never seen it and I like it so I thought we'd see that and jump in line for TOT before the actual party started, so we needed to head to the bus stop.
Gran Destino was a few days away from opening so the bus stop was still in front of the "old" building, but I did get a pretty night shot of the new tower though:

442032
