AP Discount Watch and FAQ 2023. 10% - 40% off select nights July 11 - Sept 28; Oct 2 - Dec 25

can someone check and see if they have anything club level for 10/25 to 10/29? I would love to move my trip up by a day and leave a day earlier but I really don't expect to find anything. Currently booked at YC.

Are there any CL rooms for those dates available, even without a discount? How many adults and kids?

three adults and I think only an AP discount is around now. Once I activate my AP it will be so much easier. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm not expecting to find anything, just thought I'd check.

No deluxe resorts are coming up at all. CSR Gran Destino deluxe room is coming up w a 10% discount: $594+ tax.

Still trying to adjust our trip.

Our original plan was to stay in Universal for the night of 10/25 to go to IOA and USO on 10/26. I'm rethinking that because I'm worried that Universal will be slammed on 10/26.

So I need a room for 10/25 before we start our stay at YC. I have an AP voucher and there are 3 of us. I know if I call Disney to ask I'll be on the phone an hour. ;) ;) ;)

Are you not at a Universal Resort with express pass? Because I was under the impression, and hoping it’s true for our upcoming trip, that with EP we won’t really have to worry about the lines and can just do which rides we want when we want to ride them. Is that not as correct as I’m hoping?

I actually don't have any hotel for 10/25. :rotfl:

If I don't make a decision soon we'll be sleeping on a bench. The cheapest hotel at Universal that night that has the express pass is Portofino for $374 with my AP discount. But we get to Orlando so late that it seems a waste to book that.

I'm thinking we would be better off just going to Universal on the Tuesday of the trip and be okay without an express pass.

Oct 25-26 (1 night) 3 adults, all rates plus tax:

Mods/Values:
CBR $257 (10% off)
AoA $474 (10% off)
CSR $634 (10% off)

Deluxes
BWI $437 (20% off)
BC $496 (20% off)
YC $501 (20% off)

A few suites at WL and GF for more than a $1,000 also, only about 10-20% off.

I would say Portofino with Express Pass for $374 is the best bet by far.

I know it's painful to pay for a night when you get there late, but getting EP seems to make it still a decent deal. From what I gather, often buying EP for your party is more than paying for the room at one of their resorts, and getting a deluxe resort for the night and front of the line passes seems like a good idea to me. I agree with the PP, I would still do a US resort that night and use the EP instead of going without EP. However, I haven't been to USO in 7 years and have never had EP - last time we went it wasn't very crowded except the new HP area in US - I'm expecting it to be much more crowded this time both because USO is now much more popular and the 5 nights we're going have no resort rooms at the resort with EP open at all! (We booked through a convention).

@vinotinto

Yikes at those rates! Thanks for checking for me!!!

I can book the Dolphin for that night on Hotwire for $165 all in. May just do that instead.

@ninafeliz - I know I should just bite the bullet and pay the $374 because in the end it would just be around an extra $200 from what I would have to pay to stay at the Dolphin. I don't know why it's so hard for me to pay that much to sleep somewhere. It would basically just be a throw away room at Portofino for that night.

edited-

I ended up booking the Dolphin for that night. At least we just have to wheel over our suitcases to get to the Yacht Club.

I know you decided - and you'll have a great time no matter what! I just would add that I also hate to pay for just sleeping, but I do like to pay for convenience, and in your case I would be looking at it as $50 a person (assuming 4 people) to not wait in long lines all day, and as a bonus we get a nice close deluxe room for the night as well :-) . However, rolling your suitcases between close resorts instead of other methods will be nice. I hope your universal day is slow with short lines :thumbsup2.

What's up with the weekends? I noticed our Friday and Saturday nights are $150 more than the others with the discount. I know weekends are more, but that is a lot! Is there still a discount on weekends, but just a lower percentage? Because it isn't rack rate, but it's so much more than the weeknights. Or is it the same percentage, the rooms are just that much more on weekends?
this (the bold)

In addition for those seeing rack rates, as always, the discount on weekends comes and goes. Don't see it today, check tomorrow.

Hi all, Is there anyway someone would be so kind to see if there is any AP room discounts for the week of 12/15/19 thru 12/20/19. Studio with two beds would be ideal. Was looking at POP but currently no discounts with them.

Could anyone check on AP room discounts for Wilderness Lodge/Boulder Ridge for 3/14/2020 through 3/21/2020? Studio Villa at BRV would be ideal.

Hi,
would anyone have a few minutes to look up AP rates for 2/15-2/25?
We are currently booked in two rooms at Movies, but would also be curious of rates for music family suites or rooms for 5 at a moderate .

thanks in advance. ❤️
